The company sent a blank download.
I requested an immediate refund.
They promised a refund in 8 to ten days.
After 15 days I cancelled the credit card for fear of more charges.
Now they say they can't process the credit refund because the card is not available.
They say I have to send them more bank info, because they can't send me a check.
This has been going on since Aug.
They won't refund the $169.80 that stole from me.
I used this service to renew my passport last month, although I still have not completed the process. Everyone should be aware that this is a scam. They are only providing an electronic copy of easily filled out forms (and incorrectly at that). They charged $135 for that. Then email you the PDF that you have to print out and mail yourself. Then learn that you need to include another check for $165 to pay for the passport to the Gov... In other words, this is a well-designed scam (probably legal unfortunately), that will do nothing for you. They take days to answer questions and the responses to not align with the question. I am ashamed that I fell for this and did not research Passport scams... Expensive lesson.
***Update*** 29 April 2025
I went through the mess of cancelling my credit card and freezing my credit. Despite the issues, I still messaged the company for a refund because they didn’t actually help me at all. They approved my refund yesterday. At this point, I haven’t received it - however - in the US, just go to the post office. Saves peace of mind and you’ll spend less than trying to use these sites.
The website states assistance with getting a passport without explaining this is NOT assistance at all. It provides a PDF for the actual form you can get on the official website for free. You put in your SSN, passport number, and all your personally identifiable information and completes the form. Then it offers expedited fees, passport book fees, and passport card fees like you are actually getting a passport, it takes your credit card information. It bills you immediately. On the final page, it states it is NOT affiliated with the actual website and that it just provides assistance with the application. No phone number or email. The email you receive is just the PDF application and tells you to send in the actual fees for the passport. So, I lost 94.95, and I still have to go get a passport photo, write an actual check, and submit the application through the post office.
