This company is a scam. They charged my card multiple times for orders I never received and even added a membership that I never signed up for. Once you place one order, they continue charging your credit card regularly without authorization. I emailed and called many times without response. They would pickup the phone and hang up. So shady!

Their snacks are extremely poor quality, the texture is like plastic, and even cardboard would taste better. When I tried contacting them, they ignored me and offered no help or refunds.

Avoid this company at all costs. They are not trustworthy and use deceptive billing practices. I am filing disputes with my bank and reporting them for unauthorized charges.

I placed a fairly large order, but shortly after, I received an email asking me to change most of it because the items were actually out of stock, (even though the website listed them as available). I provided very specific alternatives (including ones they suggested), but my order still arrived with the wrong products.

I reached out multiple times and got no response. They were quick to communicate while processing my order, but once the mistakes were made, they stopped replying.

Unfortunately, most of the items taste like cardboard, and my kids wouldn’t eat them. The only decent product is the peanut butter cereal (which I never even received). I won’t be ordering from them again. Do not recommend.

The cereal is good but customer service is terrible. I got one order from them, which was fine. I liked the products. I put in a second order and it just didn’t come. I finally reached out to them and inquired but got no reply. Then got a blanket email from the CEO about tariffs and manufacturing problems with the promise to get sent a sample pack to tide us over. It never came and then they charged me again for another subscription order! I emailed and said I wanted to cancel my subscription and get my money back for two unfulfilled orders. I got a curt reply that my subscription had been cancelled but nothing about a refund. Two weeks later and I’m still emailing them to get my money back. Stay away from this company! Try Legendary Foods or Magic Spoon.

I cancelled they still sent more. I was charged double. No customer service. AVOID I sent 4 emails. No answer

I ordered the marshmallow krisps and paid online. Yesterday, when they were delivered, I was told I needed to pay an additional $149 or couldn’t receive them! I refused the order and am now hoping to receive either a refund or the shipment I already paid for. Very very disappointing.

These products are very good but the customer service is awful. My recent order was missing an item. I’ve emailed them three times, tried to call getting just a busy signal, and today’s ago mailed a letter. If you’re going to buy them do it via Amazon. This is not the first time this company has done wrong.

Cereal and Cheese Puffs taste horrible. They are crunchy, I’ll give them that. But they taste so bad they’re inedible so you can’t even enjoy the crunch. My dog won’t even eat it. Waste of money. Horrible customer service won’t allow refund or return.

I do not recommend their products, the taste of their snacks is undesirable.

RETURN POLICY:
My credit is $22 out of $89. Here is their return policy even if the boxes are unopened: "Our return policy only covers 1 case of cereal or puffs at this point as we are a food based company and can not legally accept returned food products (both for food safety and legal reasons)."

SCHOOLYARDS SUBSCRIPTION CANCELLATIONS PROCESS:
The company needs to update their subscription section for an easy way to cancel. In the order section, where there is an option to delay a subscription, there should be an additional option to cancel. Their are many complaints regarding how hard it is to cancel a subscription.

Here is Schoolyard Snacks cancellation instructions: The cancel subscription button is just below the product photos - next to "add product" you should see text that says "cancel subscription".

So to cancel, You have to EXIT the subscription section and go back to their product list and find the photo of the product where there is a "cancel" button. Not intuitive at all.

If I could leave a minus I would, I bought the peanut butter cereal and the cheese doodles. Both taste like cardboard and leave a terrible aftertaste in your mouth.

My refund out of $113 was $20.43. They do not refund your whole cost plus in order to get refund you must mail with tracking which cost another $6.10.

Oh and I bought chocolate candy that was supposed to taste like butterfinger. Was all melted. They just "partner" with that company so no refund there but don't tell you that when you buy.

STAY AWAY!

I really wish I had come here to read reviews before purchasing. I understand they are a smaller company but their advertising is straight predatory. They advertise a 30 day happiness guarantee. However, as another reviewer commented, the return policy is just insane. I would have to pay close to $20 to send a 2 inch by 2 inch piece of cardboard to them to guarantee my return, even though they already know exactly what I ordered. They want to make you jump through all these hoops in the hopes that it is too difficult and time consuming for you to actually go through with the return. Stay away as far as possible from this company. Incredibly suspicious.

I think they are an acquired taste. I did a trial pack and the keto puffs were like cardboard. Not consumable for me or my husband but they get alot of favorable reviews so maybe others have the pallete for the texture. Also the customer experience is only good if you ate purchasing. Returns are made to be so difficult I didn't even bother.

Absolutely terrible in taste and customer service. They say it’s money back guarantee. Well you have to jump through hoops to get that refund. AND you only get a portion of the money you spent. I spent over $40 but they were only going to refund me $20 and change. Then they make you cut out the UPC codes ( not the product) and have it sent by certified mail. They won’t give you money back unless you show proof of delivery to them! I have gone round and round with them. They now tell me to contact the carrier and ask for tracking! For a 49 cent stamp?!? Ridiculous. They repeat their policy requires tracking. Why don’t they just open their mail and see my request?!?
Don’t bother with them or the product. Terrible

I love Schoolyard Snacks! The cheddar cheese puffs and cereal (especially the fruity flavor) take care of my cravings for items that are crunchy and/or sweet and make staying on keto a breeze. One of the few items I've set up for automated monthly delivery.

The cheddar cheese puffs are awesome! My order always comes fast which is good because I keep running out of them lol

I am definitely a snacker at heart- and not a fan of pork rinds!!! The crunchy snack was the one thing I was missing on keto. I am so glad I found these snacks! They taste absolutely amazing and the cheddar puffs have one net carb per bag! Perfect low carb crunch to satisfy my snack tooth!!!! Thank you Schoolyard Snacks! I purchased Schoolyard snacks because my husband & I have gone Keto to loose weight. I was craving chocolate and he loves peanut butter so when a craving hits, we grab a bag of the delicious cereal to curb our cravings. We also have the cheese plus the sour cream & onion puffs. they are also good and help us with the crunch cravings. We are very Happy with the Schoolyard cereal and puffs!! Thanks for making these.

The snacks arrived quickly. I received ongoing communication from the company about my purchase. The snacks are delightfully delicious. The packaging is perfect for on-the-go.

Totally LOVE the cheese puffs! The cinnamon cereal is one of my favorites as well. Tried peanut butter cereal and was not a fan, but many say if you mix the peanut butter & chocolate together, it is great. Cheese puffs are the best so far! Thanks so very much! Jess
