Sand Blasters is part of the M & T Traders group and is a family owned company that was started back in 2008. At the beginning we were just called Martyns Bargains and we started in a small industrial unit in Retford, Nottinghamshire. As the business progressed we decided to expand and make things bigger so we could hold more stock.From the start, our company had a popular demand because we offered products at a great pricing structure and we have grown a good customer base by keeping to this structure. We are a team of husband and wife who are very hard working and dedicated towards what we do. Throughout this journey, we have gained an immense amount of knowledge and are still learning to this day.

Reasonable prices
Reasonable prices, easy website to use! Lots of choice in media’s, I do a lot of motocross bike restorations and there media’s are the only ones I’m happy to put my money into, the finish it leaves with vapour blasting and dry blasting is unreal! Highly recommend!

Had a small issue with an item the team at Sandblasters have the best customer service team I have ever come across and worked with , they were fast and efficient keeping me informed about what was happening.
On top of that the kit they sell is good value for money

Superb service
Initially I had an enquiry, which was dealt with via email. After the enquiry, I placed an order for a sandblasting vacuum and some abrasive medium. The order was dispatched almost immediately and arrived at my house in about two working days! Even the courier company were superb (Fagan and Whalley), they telephoned me a few days before the delivery was due, to ensure that I would be in. They then delivered the pallet right to my garage door, using an electric pallet truck! I will definitely use this company again!

Sandblasters customer service was good, when they realised I lived on a Scottish island they informed me of the extra cost required for shipping and left the choice up to me. (it was an extra £10) I paid this and they shipped to me in good time

I have been struggling to find knowledgeable people to talk to regarding the less-than-transparent world of air compressors.
I was able to have an in-depth honest discussion over the phone followed up by email correspondence.

Joke customer service
Joke customer service - as in they don’t have any!
Placed two orders with them, within half an hour of each other. Emailed immediately after making the first order to say I’d messed it up and needed to cancel, but for their benefit I’d placed a new order so that it was a straight swap.
No reply, emailed twice further - surprise surprise, the first order and most expensive order had been dispatched immediately after placing the order.
Cheaper order, order two (and the one I want) hasn’t been dispatched or seen yet.
When I complained, they said they are governed by their dispatch time not the customer service, so don’t bother look at their emails often.
I run a business too and the above is such a ridiculous way to run a business.
They charge for a pallet delivery too but send out with a parcel courier.
REPLY TO SANDBLASTER:
You seem to be confusing good customer service with a fast despatch - there’s so much more to running a business than just throwing items in boxes and shipping them out - even Amazon has a despatch period and it’s for a reason!!!
I run a busy body with 11 employees, calling wasn’t possible at that time due to noise but I thought 3 emails flagging the issue should be sufficient. If you’re able to see verification of an order coming in then you should be able to see customer emails - if you can’t cope with it, I suggest you hire someone for admin, even a body shop has to, like I said there’s A LOT more to business than shipping orders.

Hi, Just a quick response to this Bad review on our customer service.
I take all reviews seriously and if we receive a bad review, I look at what can be done to improve our customer service because as you know running a small business bad reviews can be damaging.
I have looked into this and can see that there really isn't anything that we could have done better to be honest.
Order 16225/230323/92 placed at 23/03/23 12:53
Order 16228/230323/29 placed at 23/03/23 14:00
1st Order 16225/230323/92 was collected by DHL at 13:08 23/03/23 Tracking number 60120143925876 now to me that's great customer service, picked packed and shipped with a courier in 15 minutes.
The 2nd Order which was ordered at 2pm was not shipped as the courier had already been.
The email to say that you wanted to cancel the order as you had made a mistake was received at 1:35:18pm by which time your order was on its way.
I'm sorry but there are only 3 of us here dealing with the running of the business and emails are not manned 24/7 as we will be dealing with a lot of other things
I think a simple phone call would have avoided any of this.
I have since added to the automated emails after an order is placed the below.
If for any reason you need to change or cancel your order, please call the office on 01777708457 as an email might not been seen until after we have dispatched your order.

Good contact and customer approach
Contacted them through eBay, quickly got a phone call to answer my question. Very nice conversation, all my questions did got a clear answer. Ordered sand blasting cabinet on their website and arrived surprisingly already the next day. It is much bigger than I expected and haven't put it to work yet, but so far the experience with this company has been excellent.
