When I collected my online order it felt Iike was being scrutinised by border security! I dont expect to be asked where I was going to, or, how long are you going for. I felt my privacy was being invaded.

No problem with the currency…
There was no problem with the currency that I collected from my nearest store but I did think the member of staff who served me could have been at least a little more friendly.

Delivery of currency was speedy with…
Delivery of currency was speedy with collection quicker than expected. My only criticism would be that Sainsburys now has the cheek to charge for the flimsy paper envelope that you would usually receive the currency in for safety. Just another cheap way of squeezing more money out of customers.

Confirmation of my online order for…euros received on 25/08/26
Confirmation of my online order for Euros came through very quickly. I went to pick the money up at 14.20 but there was a notice telling us that the position was closed and would not be open until 15.00. I did not have time to wait around and 2as, indeed, very surprised to find the counter wasnot staffed in the middle of the afternoon.

I found that the cashier was rather aggressive and not very helpful. Perhaps a visit to charm school to learn how to deal with customers politely.

Currency Click and Collect at Sainsbury’s
Click and collect was so simple to use. Select amount Sainsburys covert to your currency. Bank details, Nectar Card and select store all done. I got a better rate with click and collect which was great. Speaking to staff about my options was very useful in making an informed decision about how I then chose to proceed. I selected a date to collect. Email notification arrived day before. Went to store provided card payment method and ID. Collected my currency. No stress, no hassle just brilliant.

Easy order process
Easy order process, helpful staff member at store, but then didn't get email to say Euros ready until I had collected them. Also think it rather excessive to try to charge 25p for an advertising envelope to put my money in, having spent a considerable amount on the currency, I declined!
