In all my business dealings with Safe Place Mini Storage, I have found them to be pleasant, professional, courteous, and efficient. I would reccomend them to anyone.
The people operating the storage at my location provide terrible service and cost me a lot of extra money. I signed the lease in the late afternoon over a weekend and told the operators I would move in on Monday. When I arrived on Monday, my storage area was locked and I could not get access. This forced the movers to come back a second day and cost me over $500 extra. When I told the operator of the facility what happened he said he could not take my word and I needed proof from the movers. I provided the proof from the movers but the operator NEVER responded to me. The people working there are rude and unresponsive.

We here at Safe Place Mini Storage regret the inconvenience you experienced upon moving into our facility seven months ago. For security, it is our policy that all Units must be locked at all times! When you executed the Rental Agreement, we read aloud to you, and you initialed: "I understand that I must lock the Leased Space at all times. Owner will not have a key to such lock." Since you did not put your lock on the Unit, we were compelled to secure the Unit from unauthorized entry. We would be violating the Rental Agreement if we allowed anyone to enter any of our tenants' Units, particularly as in an after hours situation such as this one. This is to protect our Units from damage and/or to insure that no-one dumps items or trash into such Unit. If you had just let us know that you needed after hours access to your Unit that evening, then we would most certainly have arranged for it.
As with all our tenants, we do value your continued business and hope that, from this point forward, the rest of your stay proves to be a pleasant experience. Thank you.

The property management is first rate and are willing to bend over backwards to ensure we are satisfied with the results. We have opened our new restaurant, The Grille at Leeland Junction. The management team at Safe Place had all of the parking spaces re-painted. They also did some great patching up of areas that need addressing near the entrance of the building. They ensured that all plumbing and electrical in the interior of the building was up to code and working properly without any discussion. This is what makes our relationship great! The owners are extremely kind and provide the best customer service you could ask for. They are helpful with any questions you have, provide payment reminders via email, payment receipts through text, and polite courtesy calls when needed. It's a very safe environment and a great place to keep your belongings without worry! We are very grateful we chose safe place.
The Safe Place Mini Storage in Fredericksburg is a great place to store your goods. Very safe and secure well lite and gated with you own entry code.. The staff are friendly and dedicated to your needs. Its is well lite and clean inside. Waterproof, I have used others and this one even tho it is Not climate controlled, it stays dry, damp free, and moisture free. Plus I have yet to find mold or bugs. I will use this storage are whenever the need arises. On a scale of 1-10 this is an 11. Carl is top notch and enjoy talking with him. Donna is very friendly and both are accommodating to your needs. Use them. You will love them and the storage.
