Let down by poor website and Apps. I will not be using this pharmacy again.

This company appears to be hindered by its technology. I will be closing my account. I placed an order for an NHS repeat prescription through the IOS App earlier in the week, and it remained showing as 'waiting for GP to sign the prescription' until it was chased today by RXLive.

According to my GP, this was not true. My GP had received a request for a prescription from a new online provider and had mistakenly sent it to RXLive rather than leaving it on the NHS Spine. In my presence, my GP phoned RXLive to get the prescription returned to the NHS Spine. RXLive refused because they said that my prescription had already been dispensed and dispatched.

It seems that until their technology and apps are working properly, you have to request your repeat prescription with your GP, and then RXLive will pick up the electronic prescription. However, the website does not say this. If you place an order through their website, it's not clear what happens until, like I did, you ask what's happening and they say they will follow up.

Some issues

Unexplained delays in filling prescriptions on several occasions. Communications regarding delays are poor. Packaging is often of poor quality..I don't mind reusing packaging if in a goiod state but sometimes their's is just not good enough. Web site is slow and not responsive enough. Fewer supply issues than local chain or independent chemists and very convenient.---and free.. Just wish they could sort the issues mentioned.

RXLIVE are fantastic have great communication and get medications delivered quickly and have been 100% reliable.

I changed over to RXLIVE 13 months ago, after having constant problems with my local chemist. I have found RXLIVE to be absolutely fantastic, I’ve had 1 issue with them in the whole time and they resolved that as quickly as they could. I struggled to open one particular manufacturer of my medication, so I asked them to change it in future, they asked which manufacturers were okay for me, and ever since they’ve sent me the ones I can open easily. The staff always reply quickly to my messages, and 99% of the time my medications are with me within 48hours. There have been times where my Dr has issued my prescription and I’ve messaged RXLIVE the same day, as I’d completely run out of a certain item and they got it to me for the next day. I cannot fault the service at all, and will happily continue to use them, 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.

I asked about a medication I have been…

I asked about a medication I have been put on which isn't a particularly well known one and they said they didn't stock it and that they had never actually had a prescription for it before but would stock it on my behalf as soon as I requested my prescription it was dealt with quickly and I received it! I had previously had to go without due to my GP not listening properly so I am extremely grateful and will recommend this service 100% ! Massive thank you and well done to the whole team!!

keep having "issues" with orders and it…

keep having "issues" with orders and it is wearing thin. I can see 4 payments taken from my bank account, only one of which I believe can relate to an actual order; the other 3 have left me nearly £60.00 so I am now chasing for a refund.

FORGOT TO TAKE MEDICATION WITH ME...

I forgot to bring some medication with me on holiday in the U.K.
RXLIVE were very quick to respond and received meds the next day.

WRONG MEDICATION SENT UNDER CORRECT LABEL COULD HAVE KILLED ME

**EDIT IM NOW BEING THREATENED WITH LEGAL ACTION!. In response to rxlive I have removed the comment about his grandparents with respect. I had no idea they had passed away I just quoted a passage from his bio which is readily available on the internet. I have provided evidence to rxlive and the pharmacy regulations council as everyone was copied in the email. I have also supplied the evidence to trust pilot as you flagged this review to be taken down, truspilot reviewed the evidence and have reinstated my review. The distress this is causing myself is insurmountable**

I have my repeat prescription with this company. They sent me the wrong medication under the correct medication and dosage label. I already take a similar medication, delivered by them, and had I not realised the mistake I could have died!!
On complaining it got passed to the pharmacy superintendent who runs this company. He immediately sent an urgent email and next day delivery
courier to get the medication back.. no apology.. no regret for the consequences of SENDING THE WRONG MEDICATION LABELLED WITH MY CORRECT MEDICATION AND DOSE.
I'm disappointed with the main pharmacist and owner of this company continually ringing and sending an email to me to get the medication back with no acknowledgement of what they have done! Both has led to a case with the pharmacy regulations council. I BEG YOU NOT TO USE THIS COMPANY.. NOT FOR ME BUT FOR ANY VULNERABLE PERSON OUT THERE THAT THIS MAY HAPPEN TO . IM HONESTLY SCARED!.
Now on top of that . I obviously from this cancelled my repeat prescription which was acknowledged and it was cancelled. yet my order came through. Again I've told them to cancel my repeat prescription and yet again the order came through again.

We would like to clarify that the Superintendent Pharmacist did not personally dispense or check your medication. We operate with a dedicated team of qualified healthcare professionals who manage the dispensing and checking processes. The Superintendent's role is to oversee and ensure that all procedures are in line with regulatory standards, not to handle individual prescriptions.

The email you received was sent in accordance with current regulations. You contacted us stating you received the incorrect medication; however, no supporting documentation was provided to verify this claim.

We kindly ask that you remove any defamatory or inaccurate statements from your review, particularly those suggesting the Superintendent was directly involved in the dispensing of your medication. With over 50,000 patients under our care, it is not possible for any single individual to manage all aspects of patient care.

Patient safety is and always has been our top priority. We take all reports of medication errors with the utmost seriousness, and your case was escalated immediately to our Superintendent Pharmacist, as per our internal protocols. The retrieval of the medication was initiated to ensure your safety and to allow for a full investigation to be carried out. However, we fully acknowledge that this should have been accompanied by clear communication, compassion, and a formal apology, which you deserved but did not receive at the time. For that, we are truly sorry.

We understand your concerns regarding the repeat prescriptions and the issues that followed. Your feedback has highlighted critical areas where we must improve, particularly in communication and system processes. We are reviewing all related procedures to ensure this does not happen again — to you or to any of our patients.

While we are limited in what we can discuss publicly due to ongoing regulatory proceedings and data protection laws, please be assured that your concerns are being taken seriously and that we are cooperating fully with all regulatory bodies involved.

Your voice matters — not only in helping us take accountability but in helping us make the necessary changes. If you are willing, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly to offer a formal apology and to better understand how we can support you going forward.

Out of respect, we kindly ask that this line be removed. It is deeply inappropriate and inconsiderate to include such references, especially given the circumstances. We would expect greater sensitivity and thoughtfulness. This kind of oversight is disappointing and unacceptable.

10/10 highly recommended service

For the last couple of days I had been passed off trying to get my medication from other online pharmacy’s and local chemists- last night I spoke to an online Aviva doctor and joined their online pharmacy service: Today, I’m told my medication will be with me tomorrow 1st class tracked post !! I was in disbelief after all the upset and frustration of the past 5days I asked them to double check - the dispensary manager spoke with me he was very understanding he welcomed me to the online service and reassured me that there were no problems in getting my medication now or in the future, He would also keep an eye on stock knowing I was on batch prescriptions from my Doctor
I am very grateful, the way he handled the situation and reassured me

10/10 Highly recommended and I will be spreading the word

I have repeatedly experienced delays with my prescriptions from this online pharmacy. Despite multiple requests—both personally and through my doctor—to be removed from their service and have my local pharmacy set as my nominated provider, they continue to interfere.

Without my knowledge or consent, someone from this company contacted my local pharmacy and falsely claimed that I had requested to use their services. They then instructed my local pharmacy to release my ready-to-collect prescription so it could be posted to me instead.

As a result, when I arrived at my local pharmacy, I was told they had already released my prescription based on this misleading request. Now, I have been without my essential medication for four days.

This level of service is completely unacceptable, and I would strongly advise others to avoid using this pharmacy.

Inefficient company

The amount of times I have had to chase up medication isn’t funny anymore, I was told one time it would be delivered the following day, when it wasn’t I rang yet again to be told it was out of stock country wide!
I have now also a fridge item that wasn’t labelled on front of box and has been sitting outside for 6 hours but the medication delivered the day before was labelled fridge item although it wasn’t…
Medication takes up to 14+ days to receive and that’s with constant phoning.. I’ve changed pharmacy as too much hassle every time & no communication from them

problems with 5 out of 6 orders

approximately 6 orders, problems with all except 1

1. duplicate charge. only refunded after multiple requests
2. delivery took over 1 week despite their advertised "Royal Mail’s next day service". tracking showed NOT delayed by Royal Mail
3. ok
4. item showed delivered but not, then told that was the "scanned" date, *then* told out of stock - complained, advised should have been told, will advise in future if this happens again
5. item out of stock , not informed - complained, told I should have chased to ask
6. charged AFTER exemption certificate provided, only refunded on request

Really happy with the service

I must say I wasn’t expecting this service to be any good but I’ve had my medication delivered on time for the past month or more, it’s always on time and I even have some left over which normally id have to wait so long for my next prescription but this service/company has been great. I’ve tried a couple different online pharmacies and RXLive are by far the best. Highly recommend

Haven't been with this medication…

Haven't been with this medication delivery for very long, probably had 3 orders delivery in perfect carton packaging...Al done automatically for me...I was fed up being late putting my prescription in on time for my next month's intake...making me go 4-5 days with out my meds util GP signed it of for chemist to complete
Not just that, I am the one responsible for handing in my son and husbands prescription, which ment if I was 4-5 days behind on medication ,so we're they...
So I now have us all together on automatic repeat medication (family members)..
And as we are all entitled to non chargeable prescription/NHS, ther is no charge for dispensing OR delivery...fantastic RXLIVE PHARMACY :- I give you and your team ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
