I bought the 5 packet selection box…

I bought the 5 packet selection box having seen the company featured on Dragons Den. Being chocoholics we had to try them as at least one panel member said they were the best chocolates they had tasted.
Although taste is a personal thing we both felt they were nothing special, the dirty blond and salted caramel were quite nice but the remainder were nothing special in our opinion. We were hoping to have found something special but unfortunately we were dissappointed.

I ordered two jars of the milk and…

I ordered two jars of the milk and hazelnut chocolates for my husband's Valentine day present, beautiful taste, fresh and love the fact that quality ingredients are used in production. I had a slight issue with my purchase which was professionally rectified. Definitely will be ordering again from Russell and Atwell.

Prompt delivery and good chocolate

Delivery is prompt with this company hence why I like them it fits through the letter box which is convinient

Organic cream and honey is what deviate this product away from its competition and give it is usp and i think it tastes better than other high street chocolates out there

Good quality chocolates

Honey and organic double cream is a nice touch and the texture of these chocolates are fantastic which goes to prove quality ingredients really do make a better quality chocolate

Very nice chocolate made in Britain.

Very nice chocolate made in Britain.
Even after Royal Mail lost my parcel
Russel & Artwell reached out to me a rapidly replaced them.
Such good customer care from this small up and coming company.
I would highly recommend and will be ordering again very soon.

Insanely good chocolates

Insanely good chocolates, I got the whole selection and a working my way through them - rather quickly. You can eat a whole bag and still feel good because there are no preservatives. Thoroughly recommend them.

Can’t give them less than 5 stars

Can’t give them less than a 5 star review! I bought the mini taster pack and they are ALL delicious. They didn’t last as long as I intended, and I hurried to order some of the Seville orange special edition - can’t risk them running out! Chocolate lovers, I recommend these fresh chocolates to you.

Amazing chocolates!

I ordered my favourite, the salted caramel chocolates. They are absolutely delicious and my go to chocolates when I want to treat myself or my friends and family. They taste divine and the salted caramel is just beautiful. The website is is easy to use and offers lots of delicious and tempting flavour choices. Delivery is quick and before you know it these gorgeous chocolates are stashed in your fridge ready for enjoying. As a migraine sufferer whose trigger is sadly dark chocolate, I do have to ration these chocolates (maybe not a bad thing as they are so tasty!)so I would love to see the salted caramel centre with milk chocolate. If you want some really special chocolate, different to what you can buy elsewhere then Russell & Aswell are the chocolates for you! Highly recommended!

Great premium chocolates....

Great company to order from with I good delivery experience from the Post Office. The chocolates were delicious too, with a premium flavour and texture, but perhaps a tad pricey for what are essentially plain dome shaped chocs that arrive in sealed pouches, which don't make them quite so suitable for gifting, unlike a box of different shaped chocolates would. I would still order again and recommend them as a high quality personal or family treat.

These are absolutely phenomenal quality chocolates. The flavours are individually spot on, not a single flavour hasn’t been thought about thoroughly or ‘let’s down the bunch’. The texture is beautiful, the size has been thought about to give you a lovely ‘mouth experience’ and they are without a doubt worth every penny.
These chocolates have a great list of quality ingredients and to be able to have offered fresh chocolate on the market, is not only a rarity but also an indulgent treat which must be tried! Any true chocolate lover would understand 😍
P.S/ limited edition Cornish dream is out of this world - 10/10

The tastiest product out of Dragons Den

As an avid watcher of Dragons Den, how did I miss you guys 🤔

Meta’s algorithm found this chocaholic and the mini Monty taster pack landed on my doorstep Friday as I was dashing for a train to London and trust me, the day took far to long to pass before I got home at 9pm to sit down with a cup of Yorkshire and try one of each !! After all, chocolate helps you sleep, right ? 🤔

Just checked the shelf life guidance and I’m pleased there is no settling down period as these delicious chocolates last less than 48 hours 😉

I did give away two packs to a fellow chocoholic and now back on the website with the generous discount code for a reorder. 🙏🏻

These chocolates are insanely good, whether you crack, break, bite or suck the chocolate shell, your taste buds will thank you.

Best chocolates I’ve ever had .

My God, these little devils are outrageously good. Yes expensive, but in my opinion worth every penny. You genuinely will never want to eat any other chocolate again. I bought two of the retail x 7 packs and me and my family went through them in 5 days im not even sad to say. Could not get enough so I’ve ordered more. What a treat. My only critique is that the 7 retail pack should be a constant product available to buy as I would go for this every time!

Planet friendly delights

Have made numerous purchases of different fillings but can't fathom out the naysayers that almost condemn these exquisite confections. OK, they're not the same as all the middle of the road producers but that's the main reason for them being that much better. Look behind the ingredients and you'll see why they're better - for us and the planet.
As for the boys and girls behind the scenes I cannot fault them, customer orientated, quick of the mark and eager to help. Big faceless companies take note.
OK, so they're a bit on the expensive side but you're getting hand made, crap free confectionery not some mass produced over sweet tasteless so called chocolate. If you don't like them then just carry on eating that stuff and help line the money grabbing pockets of people who couldn't give a monkeys about the planet. Your choice, I like living here.

Best chocolate ever tasted in my life!

Oh my goodness! My tastebuds have fallen in love!!!

My first delivery has just arrived and the taste of these chocolates is out of this world. They do not compare to any other chocolates I’ve tasted before.
Sorry Lindt, I have a new favourite which is the best chocolate I’ve ever tasted.

If you’ve not tried then put them on your bucket list 😋

I did not order a second batch of these chocolates!

Update 23.7.25: sorted. Refund received, no future orders will be sent. No record of the emails that were sent. Any comms have been completed via trustpilot and/or messenger. No sign of those emails, even in trash/spam. Matter closed. Thank you R&A for resolving ❤️. I am changing my ‘score’ to 4. From 1. Matter resolved. It is what it is, and life is definitely too short! I don’t want to adversely penalise any company. ✅

I ordered in May. £16 offer 3 packets. IMO not worth it. Honestly don’t waste your money. Your choice.

For me, suddenly saw a pending transaction on my card today. I emailed today saying I did not order, and did not subscribe. Even checked the website and, funnily enough, no subscription.

Anyway, end of day, I check, my “order” has been despatched. I did not order. I have emailed them tonight will see what response I get. Thankfully I have the security, if required, of card issuer refunding. But hope not to need this.

Had I subscribed, which I had not (their website shows I have none) then wouldn’t an advance email be courtesy to say pending subscription on way?

Honestly it just smells kind of funny. Not what I would expect. If the choccies were worth it fair enough. But £20 for 3 bags of mediocre (as I said, imo) chocolates. Please … No!!! 🤣

Wonder if, and when, a response will be forthcoming.

I’m a regular subscriber to many things I do want. I don’t want this, and the “experience” just feels all wrong.

Come on then Russell & Atwell, I await your explanation.

If I’m at fault then fair enough, but I believe myself to be a fairly responsible, financially capable individual. I’ll put my hand up if it is my fault, but at this stage, I just don’t see it that way.

We’re sorry you’re disappointed by your experience with our chocolates. We receive overwhelmingly positive feedback on them, However we know that taste is very personal and we recognise that we’re not for everyone.

The good news is that we think we caught your pack just in time after a very busy Friday on orders and we have refunded you in full. If it’s not caught (and as a small business, our systems are not perfect), then you’ll have some free chocolates on us. We’ve also cancelled your subscription.

You’ve written a detailed review below on our business and approach, so please allow me to write a detailed response.

Firstly, we’re a small business, trying to do our best with very limited budgets and staff – we know we’ll make mistakes and where it’s us, we will happily hold our hand up. Equally, tough reviews can hurt us, so, time-permitting, we try to respond to them properly.

1) We can see from our records that you bought a first pack May 23, 2025 at 07:16:pm . This was a pack that was already on offer and, according to our systems you ticked the subscribe button (possibly accidentally?) and thus were able to receive an additional 15% discount (on top of the sale discount already applied) through choosing an 8-week subscription. I’m sorry that as a small team, we don’t follow-up every new subscription with a double-check phonecall to reconfirm, but this just isn’t possible for us.
2) 8 weeks later (minus 2 days). According to our records, we emailed you our standard confirmation email 48 hours before the next subscription is due to be sent out – primarily to check the customer is not e.g. on holiday, but also to give the opportunity to postpone or cancel. We can see this email was sent to you early the morning of July 16th (of course this may have gone into junk email, or if the email address was incorrectly inputted, may not have made it to you at all)
• We find people sometimes have issues finding a subscription thru the site – this can be caused by different emails being used, or an email masking involved, but we can clearly see yours (#216939498) in the system. If you had received/ seen the ‘confirmation email’ there is always a link to click which would clearly have been easier.)
3) I can also see you tried to contact us through this recent weekend – through various emails (e.g. our sales email) that is not always punctually acted on by the sales team (sorry!) but we can’t find a record of you contacting our actual customer service email (info@russellandatwell.com , as detailed on the site). However, once your issue was discovered by one of our founders, we investigated over the weekend and contacted our packers first thing on Monday morning to check whether the pack had been sent on a very busy previous Friday.

We were able to reply to you in detail on Monday with all of the above.

The good news is that we have refunded you in full for this second order and we think we’ve been able to stop the sending. We have also cancelled your subscription. So this looks to have been resolved.

We’re sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy our chocolates – you are totally entitled to this perspective! We hope the other areas above offer an adequate explanation to the questions you asked. Of course, we are not infallible and are only going on the detailed records that we can see from our systems.

As per above, we are a small British business with very small team and are far from perfect – but we do always try our best to delight our customers. Feedback is always helpful, we’ll try to get our communication both on subscriptions and how to find the customer service email clearer in future. Thank you for taking the trouble to write.

Wonderful quality and taste

I received my first order today.
Although they are higher in price than high street chocolate, they are worth every penny. Utterly delicious, and wonderful quality.
I will definitely be buying more for friends and family.
