The Rugdoctor did work, but is quite overpriced and overrated.

Firstly I had to thoroughly clean out the machine as it was leaving big lumps of black hair on my carpet. Secondly the suction on the machine was not very strong. I have used these machines a good many times and this seems to be a new model and not enough suction. My carpet was wet for 4 days after and we are were in the middle of a heatwave so should really have dried in hours. Thirdly I can only assume the shampoo has now also changed. My carpet still has marks and stains that on previous use with the older machine and shampoo they would have been gone. I have always been impressed with rug dr before I used it this time. I wouldn’t be using again as I don’t think it’s made any difference other than wet my carpet through

The website was not clear about where to pick the cleaner up from. One branch of Tesco didn't know and were quite unhelpful. The correct branch don't have anything to do with customers picking up/dropping of the cleaners. This was not clear on the website, if stated at all. The correct location of the service was not clear on the website.
The price on the website that I paid was £27.99. The price on the door to the unit was £21.99! This is a rip off and possibly illegal.

Easy pickup, delivery and use.

Ended up hiring 3 Rug Doctor machines yesterday. The first had a fault and had to be returned. With the second booking there was no machine in the locker. The third however worked really well and removed a lot of dirt. This morning I called the Rug Doctor customer care team, got through straight away and the lady processed refunds for the first two hires and the monies landed immediately onto my credit card. It's not often that a company responds so quickly these days when something goes wrong - hence why I have given them 5 stars. The rug doctor machines are also very good at removing dirt from carpets.

What a good bit of kit! Does what it states on the tin. Carpets and rugs came up very clean. Takes a bit of getting used

Machine and cleaning solution didn’t really provide the clean I needed. Left carpet’s very wet and machine is quite difficult to use. Machine was also dirty on collection and had to clean it myself. Would prefer to buy my own machine and do it over.

I hired a rug doctor from tesco Wrexham. My friend kindly picked it up for me no problem. Machine was amazing making my carpet look and feel brand new but retuning the machine was a little difficult as the tesco staff where unhelpful not knowing where the rug doctor station was to return it and the security quard was not at all helpful and unpleasant. Very easy to make the booking and collect the machine. Although, as you would expect, the machine has come scuffs it was clean and worked perfectly. Would use again.

Im lucky to live near ab outlet, so collecting the machine was really convenient All devices worked well and cleaning afterwards was simple enough

Good product, easy to collect and return. Could have been cleaner,looked a bit dirty on collection.

Very easy to order online, good price and the cleaning products and machine are great. Just moved house and having to make do with the carpets for the time being, they are passed their sell by date but the rug doctor really brought them up. Have used them before and would highly recommend.

Fast delivery on a cracking little machine which does what it says it will do.

The machine itself is good. The only issue I had was that I received the machine in a very dirty condition underneath. Maybe some users are not paying too much attention to the turn machine clean request. Then again there is no human checking this apon return.
