I bought a t-shirt I had seen in an advert on Facebook. It took over two weeks to arrive. When it did, I found it to be of very poor quality and way too big even though I followed their sizing guide. I wrote to ask to return the product and received an email advising that the costs of returning the product to Asia to be very high (£15-£35) and that I would be responsible for that and for import taxes! I was offered 10% of the cost to keep my purchase instead.
I reside in the UK and was not expecting to have to do that when purchasing from a London company.
Very poor experience and will never buy from them again.

Ordered a striped men’s shirt . Never again . Quality very poor . Fit terrible, odd length arms and strange material ( no indication even of the material used) tried to return but advised it wound cost another £ 20+ pounds as had to go to the far east!!

SCAM. Rated one star as unable to rate less. SCAM SCAM SCAM! I fell for it, didn’t fully check and I’m now the owner of a pair of plastic sandals that are not fit for purpose. They were delivered late in a plastic bag! They are so cheaply made and small in size that even they don’t want them back!! I’m not £29.95 out of pocket. What does that tell you SCAM! DO NOT be taken in by their 30 day return policy! Basically you will be offered 3 options as follows

Option 1 — Replacement Item

If the concern is related to sizing, fit, or personal preference, we can offer a replacement in a different size, color, or even a different item entirely.

As a friendly reminder, our items generally run slightly small, so we usually recommend selecting one size up, especially if you are between sizes or prefer a more comfortable fit.

The replacement item itself would be completely free of charge. The only cost would be the shipping fee of £9.95 per item.

To proceed, please send us either:

• Confirmation of size and color
• A photo of the product you would like, or
• A direct link to the exact item and preferred variant

There is no need to return the original item. You are welcome to keep it, gift it, or donate it to someone who may benefit from it.

Option 2 — Partial Refund (Fastest & Simplest Solution)

If you would prefer a quick and hassle-free resolution, we can offer a 10% partial refund of your purchase amount, without the need to return the item(s).

This option avoids the high international return costs and is the fastest way to resolve the matter. If you agree, we can process the refund immediately.

Option 3 — Return to Our Warehouse

If you still prefer to return the item, you may send it back to our warehouse in Asia at your own expense.

Well I’m going to see if I can get my credit card to get my money back. I would never have purchased these sandals had I known they were made in Asia and were subject to international shipping policy. If indeed they are….

Cheap Chinese import. Nasty almost transparent material. I ordered a small this fits like a large. It is my own fault I should have looked at the reviews on Trustpilot first.

Poor quality, I should know better but the images looked good online

This company boasts on their website of "a broad range of sizes so can find a fit that feels truly comfortable and right". So I ordered some sandals in a size 4.5. I waited 2 weeks and received poor quality sandals size 37, which is size 4. When half sizes are not available I always buy size 5. The sandals are too small. I have emailed to tell them that if they advertise the 4.5 and that is on my order confirmation surely they could have contacted me to let me know unavailable. I have written 3 times with no response. I want a refund but will not pay return costs as their fault. I will keep emailing for a week ir so then probably give up and realise I have fallen for a SCAM. Dreadful company, and how can they call themselves Rose & Hartley London. Total lying scammers.

NOT based in London at all. I bought 2 pairs of sandals for £59 they didn’t fit properly and were very poor quality. Will not give you a refund unless you pay up to £35 for shipping of the product back to them. Do NOT use this company, just thieves.

Avoid! I bought three shirts, all are at least 2 inches too big. I sized them using their size chart. I addition the materials are cheap polyester. I cannot return them due to having to pay for postage costs back to china.

Looks like a UK company but is a Chinese rip off. If something (like shoes) don't fit, you can't get a refund unless you pay up to £35 postage back to China. They off 10% refund if you press, or you choose another item and pay another £10 postage. Total rip off and refund promise is a lie. Don't touch them.

What an absolute con. How are they allowed to get away with it? The product is nothing like the image, the company is not in London, returns are not easy (as stated on their website). Avoid like the plague.

Absolutely disgraceful customer service. Very difficult to contact or trace up an order. Every time I get an email saying track your order I click on it and it takes me straight to their web site expecting me to buy something else. Have they actually got a store in London or is it just to fool people.?

BEWARE: Thiss is a Chinese fake store and not in London, with dreadful cheap clothes from China.Also the rubbish they send is such poor quality and nothing like the images they show (of a shop with two middle classs English women) - and they charge for returns and returns are difficult.

I wish I had looked at the reviews for this company before I purchased what looked like a great product , well two actually, they were both not to my liking to put it mildly , request a return for refund,oh my goodness first return at stupid cost to ASIA or keep unwanted items , order a replacement and pay shipping costs

FELL FOR IT !!

I fell for this supposed London company. Eventually got an email saying goods in transit. Guess where from? China! I’ve a horrible feeling the sandals I bought will be cheap tat. Plus they added on a dress which I did not order. Size 8. I’m a size 12. I’ve written off the money I’ve spent and hope I’ve learned my lesson i.e. check Trustpilot before ordering!

Shirt looked nothing like image and return involves payment for postage to China!

Placed an order on the 5th June and still not arrived as advised 48hours post with Royal Mail. The only way I can contact them is by email. I will see if there is any update if not I will contact my credit card and will take this further.

Received a shirt from this company. The shirt was of very poor quality & the colour didn't reflect the advert. Although it advertised a 30 day return policy what it doesn't say to return the shirt (as is my right) they offered a replacement or 20% part refund and confirmed to return it would cost me up to £35 to their warehouse in Asia? this is more than shirt the actually cost. Be very careful when dealing with this company they are based in Holland and don't comply with or trading laws.
