My experience allies with other reviewers. Purchased dress - shapeless, poor quality material and too big. Not as advertised. The offered replacement/returns policy unacceptable. No alternative - charity shop! Will never get taken in by this company again

Ordered 2 mens polo shirts. The 3 XL size was much to small ( and he is normally a 2XL) and so we wanted a replacement or refund. The advertise 30 day refunds. BUT if you want a refund you pay for shipping back to Asia plus any customs fees which they state could be £38. They offered a different size but 3XL was the largest. They offered for us to order other items, keep the original and pay £10 for replacements. When we pushed for a refund they would only offer 10% of the purchase price and to keep the goods.

Ordered 2 pairs of shorts and they are the worst quality clothing product I have ever seen….
Makes me wonder about where they are “made” and the age of people “making” them - DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY, you will only be disappointed….

Please don’t waste your money
The sandals eventually arrived - very poor quality
Looked at returning them but I would have to ‘jump through hoops’ and then pay for postage
Took the unworn sandals to a charity shop this morning

I would strongly advise people to avoid Rose and Hartley London. My experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.

The branding gives the impression of a London-based fashion retailer, but that was not the experience I had as a customer. The clothing I received was very poor quality, with cheap materials and workmanship that did not justify the price. It looked nothing like the standard I expected from the website.

The worst part was the returns process. Rather than dealing with my refund fairly and promptly, I felt I was given obstacles and unnecessary resistance when trying to return the item. It should not be so difficult for a customer to obtain a refund for goods that are not satisfactory.

In the end, I had to involve my bank to secure a full refund. That alone says everything about the level of customer service and trustworthiness I experienced.

I would not purchase from this company again, and I would caution other customers to think very carefully before ordering.

My husband bought two shirts from Rose & Hartley, and although he had to wait a while for delivery of them, they were really nice. I was quite surprised actually given some of the poor reviews on here. Credit where credit's due.

Do not buy from this company known as Rose and Hartley London one of many with London in the name but are based in Singapore. Bought Agnes Sandals. Paid nearly £30 quality more in line with £5 . Ordered a dress in large normally 18-20 in this country but their large size is equivalent to size 12.Requested a return label but was offered a larger size for free but would have to pay for shipping cost of £10.95. Was offered a partial 10% refund of the £24.95 which I accepted as would cost £15-£30 to return. Did refund the £2.95 to my account. Never again will I order anything advertised on Facebook.

I brought a pair of sandals from Rose Hartley London. It looks like a legit company based in the UK from appearances but its cheap CR*P that gets sent from China/Asia. it says 5-7 days shipping for standard shipping which actually took 14 days. What I received was VERY poor quality cost me almost as much in return postage as it cost to buy. It has to be returned to a warehouse in Asia. They did offered me a pittance of a reduction in price to keep the item. I wish I'd checked the reviews of company before buying and I definitely wouldn't have even contemplated buying these at any price if I'd see them before purchasing. What I purchased is a VERY poor knock off sandals from a well know German Brand. There was glue on the edges, long stitching that would fail very quickly, cheap materials with hard edges so they would rub your feet. If you have very slim feet you would be ok in these but if you have standard width feet these won't fit as the straps are too short. If you move the straps over along the Velcro fastening so they fit you then have a white Velcro showing which is on the dark blue sandals is so obvious. The one thing I will take away from this experience is looks are deceptive and to do my research on everything I buy in the future. This company is peddling cheap sh*t at normal high street prices DON'T BE FOOLED!

Absolutely rubbish

I ordered the Agnes Lightweight Comfort Sandals as they were half price. When they arrived, my first reaction was that the soles looked very cheap. When I tried them on, they were only just big enough. I normally wear a 3.5 but ordered a 4 as that's what the website suggested after I had measured my foot. The sole was quite slippy, with very little friction and the stitching on the inner sole is quite raised which is uncomfortable on the soles of your feet. I'm afraid I would not recommend these.

No stars would have been better. False statements saying London , they are from China they do not want you to return , I ordered shoes at 29.99 they weren't even worth 2.99 such poor plastic quality , do NOT order from this fake company , you may as well drop your money down the drain !!

Do not buy anything from this company masquerading as a British company but actually based in Asia.
They are con merchants.between £15 and£35 to send an item back which was more than the item cost. Everything is made of polyester.They show a picture of a shop which appears to be in London but does not exist.Save your money and don't buy from this company.

I ordered a Riviera mens shirt from this company in their sale. The shirt is poorly made of over printed polyester or similar (difficult to tell as there is no label inside to say what its made of or how to wash it). Sending it back!

Awful company take three weeks for delivery and sub standard goods. If you want to return the charge you between £15 and £35 to return and a 10% refund. They also offer to send you another pair of sandals for £9.95 plus postage and you can keep the original ones. They are from China not London.

I bought a t-shirt I had seen in an advert on Facebook. It took over two weeks to arrive. When it did, I found it to be of very poor quality and way too big even though I followed their sizing guide. I wrote to ask to return the product and received an email advising that the costs of returning the product to Asia to be very high (£15-£35) and that I would be responsible for that and for import taxes! I was offered 10% of the cost to keep my purchase instead.
I reside in the UK and was not expecting to have to do that when purchasing from a London company.
Very poor experience and will never buy from them again.

Ordered a striped men’s shirt . Never again . Quality very poor . Fit terrible, odd length arms and strange material ( no indication even of the material used) tried to return but advised it wound cost another £ 20+ pounds as had to go to the far east!!

SCAM. Rated one star as unable to rate less. SCAM SCAM SCAM! I fell for it, didn’t fully check and I’m now the owner of a pair of plastic sandals that are not fit for purpose. They were delivered late in a plastic bag! They are so cheaply made and small in size that even they don’t want them back!! I’m not £29.95 out of pocket. What does that tell you SCAM! DO NOT be taken in by their 30 day return policy! Basically you will be offered 3 options as follows

Well I’m going to see if I can get my credit card to get my money back. I would never have purchased these sandals had I known they were made in Asia and were subject to international shipping policy. If indeed they are….

Cheap Chinese import. Nasty almost transparent material. I ordered a small this fits like a large. It is my own fault I should have looked at the reviews on Trustpilot first.
