Terrible customer service. Booked a tattoo with an artist that left the company prior to my appointment. Travelled 200 miles to be told on the day that he had left 4 months previous. Rocknroll even sent an email confirming the appointment. I am now unable to get a refund, absolutely ridiculous, will have to go through small claims.

If there was an option to give zero stars I would have chosen it. Booked and arranged to visit. Phone call days before saying double booked and could not fit me in for three weeks. Asked for refund. Still awaiting. Being ignored. No replies to emails or action on calls. All phone numbers just ring out. Having to seek consumer advice. Will never use going forward. Terrible customer support. 👎
RocknRoll Tattoo studio in Glasgow
There are quite a few tattoo studios in Glasgow but none of them match up to the quality of artwork you get in Rock’n’Roll. On first entry I was greeted by a clean, fresh reception with a friendly face behind the counter and many examples of the artists’ work on the walls. Once I decided what style of work I wanted (although I would advise deciding this before-hand), the receptionist arranged for me to meet the artist whose work was the closest to what I wanted. In my case this was Rachel.
Once I decided that this artist was the one who I wanted to work on me, she make up a sketch of the design and then had a chat with me to confirm that this was what I wanted, after which she made the small changes so that my idea was more feasible. Then it was time for the studio itself. It was very clean, roomy and you could see the artists working away on different customers. Again, Rachel made sure that I was happy with the design and she went to work.
The tattooing itself was, obviously, a bit painful but Rachel was very considerate and was happy to take breaks whenever I wanted. The price was incredibly reasonable for the amount of time that was put into the work and I am absolutely delighted with the finished piece of artwork.
If I had one complaint to make it would be the music. It was pretty loud, almost enough to make it difficult what the artist was saying some of the time but they happily turned it down when I asked them to.
All in all it was a delight to go to Rock’n’Roll, both for the artwork and for the friendly and efficient atmosphere. I have a few tattoos and the two that I got from Rock’n’Roll are absolutely the best.

Absolutely amazing service. The best place in Scotland - no doubt. I have lived in China, Poland, Sweden, Scotland, Belgium and England and never been in a better place. Awesome.

I went to Rock and Roll Tattoo because they have a promotion wherein if you book the coverup, the laser removal treatment is free. I have a regrettable tattoo on my arm I have long wanted gone and free laser was right in my budget! I talked through my ideas at the counter with the reception staff and they were very helpful in helping me to choose and artist that would be able to execute what I wanted as a coverup. After a few months of laser my tattoo was light enough to cover and I was finally able to get something beautiful in its place. First rate artists, absolute class work.

Don't believe the bad reviews. I've had the best experience with these guys. They treated me like royalty and I would stick with them now. The artists clearly love there jobs and want to do there best for you. So happy with my tattoo and will definitely be back!

DO NOT USE THIS STUDIO,, they take customers hard earned cash book appointments with artists 7 months ( waiting) you get to your appointment date to be told you have no appointment and the artist you had was gone ( due to the owner mistreating staff and not paying wages ) the artist that was booked had actually left when the appointment was made so they knew 7 months ago that appointment was not going to be fulfilled , they have sent threatening abusive messages , one message actually asked us up to the shop and Simon the owner said he would turn his cameras off ( this is all in black n white through messages) this was insinuating a threat of violence! blocked our numbers deleted all comments left on social media forewarning other customers , refusing to give a refund. The owner Zsymon and his wife Magda are an absolute disgrace to the tattoo industry this studio should be closed down, GET people refunded and stop scamming innocent customers, Don’t know how they sleep at night , so people check the reviews on Facebook, Google , Scotlands scammers , stv news *** BEWARE ****
I have never felt the need to review a place until now…
My experience at RocknRoll Tattoo in Glasgow was disappointing and disheartening. Despite their reputation for skilled artists, my encounter as a customer was marred by poor customer service and management.
Upon expressing my concerns about a coverup tattoo, the studio hastily took a deposit without addressing my reservations. The subsequent 5-month wait for the appointment was accompanied by free laser removal sessions, which proved inconsistent and lacked significant results.
The communication and professionalism of the staff were questionable, with a revolving door of personnel during laser sessions and a lack of attention to detail when handling payments and documentation. My initial tattoo appointment was rescheduled due to inadequate laser removal, and my coverup idea was dismissed by an artist, leaving me frustrated.
Eventually, I found hope with an artist named Jerzy, but the mismanagement persisted. An abrupt change in appointment plans and a mishap listing my session as a touch-up further eroded my confidence in the studio's abilities.
Attempts to resolve the issues in person with the manager, Szymon, were met with unprofessionalism and hostility. His inappropriate remarks, discriminatory implications, and disrespectful treatment of my partner left me feeling unsafe and violated.
The situation escalated with Szymon's post-dispute harassment, which included incessant calls and texts, even past midnight. My efforts to establish boundaries and seek resolution were met with defiance and further harassment, leading me to block his number and report the incident to the police.
In conclusion, I strongly advise against choosing RocknRoll Tattoo for your tattoo needs. The lack of professionalism, disregard for customers, and inappropriate behavior exhibited by the staff and management make for an unpleasant and potentially unsafe experience. Look for a studio that values its customers and respects their visions and experiences for a more positive tattoo journey. The design of the original cover-up complicates matters. The unfinished attempt has limited the options for new designs and makes it challenging to find an artist who can work around the existing work and transform it into something cohesive and visually appealing. Additionally, there is a possibility that some reputable artists may refuse to work on the existing tattoo altogether, as they might not want to associate their name with someone else's unfinished work. This could further limit my options and make finding a skilled and willing artist even more challenging.

Proceed with caution! Absolute shambles of a company after using an artist a few times when he worked locally to me I had him finish my sleeve at RnR and re booked and paid another full day in full with him and another for my husband (these were both on a promo I paid £500 at the time of booking) this was PRE COVID since then I’ve been messed around with appointments the artist has now left latest appointment was for 18 May 2023 I’ve been left with no artist no appointment and no refund phones emails and text messages not answered check out their Facebook page this is happening to lot of people - if you pay for a service that cannot be delivered you are entitled to a refund NOT AT RnR absolute disgrace of a company they seem to think it’s acceptable taking peoples hard earned money and not delivering the services booked/paid for if zero star rating had been available I wouldn’t even have given them 1 and to date still haven’t received £ of my £500 back and although they have started posting again on FB - they hadn't posted since January 2023 probably due to the amount of negative comments from people looking for refunds! and although back posting they are filtering and deleting all negative comments and their phonelines are giving the disconnected tone when you try to call
Do not pay until the work is done
Reading the other comments makes me wish I’d really checked up on this before booking with Rock N Roll Tattoos in Glasgow. In saying that I can’t really fault the quality of work done by the artist.the work is top notch 👌🏼
My review however is aimed towards management and the lack of help and general lack of respect towards customers.
I paid for a full day slot with one of their artists. She arrives late ( left me sitting for over 2 hours) al bet she was heavily pregnant at the time so I was very happy to wait. I managed to get half a day completed which was fine so we decided we would book in again to complete the other half of my purchase. Life was busy and I was sent away for work so I had not been able to get a date set so kindly gave them the required notice to cancel and asked for a refund….i heard nothing. I emailed weekly and still no answer so I decided to visit the store. Met by a manager who lied to my face. Said my emails had been going to junk mail ( laughable) so I sent another email while I was there and by magic this one avoided junk pile. Manager asked for my bank details and would refund money…2 months later still no money 😂😂
Asking me to travel from Inverness to Glasgow to discuss (AGAIN!!)
This company don’t care about people and how hard they work for money. I’d recommend not paying until the work is complete and perhaps pay the artist direct because apparently it’s the artists in charge of the money and not rock n roll tattoos even though it’s the front staff you pay.
They also laughed it all off the fact they owe me £250 and asked if I’d been in touch with trading standards to report them? They genuinely don’t care that they take peoples money

I purchased a all day voucher on sale…
I purchased a all day voucher on sale on 30th December. Was advised that they would be sent out after 4th January.
Emailed as never received they said issues with Royal Mail and then asked for voucher number….I have since then emailed 4 times and heard nothing back about the voucher or dates for tattoo…..horrible take to it money happily enough but no time to actually email and book you in….I will be contacting my bank and they will hopefully take the money back off them

The artists are great but the management is a joke.
I bought half price day session vouchers just before Black Friday for a specific artist who has recently left, along with 8 other artists this month, due to bad working conditions.
I’ve been emailing trying to get my money for the vouchers back (seeing as you had to choose the specific artist who you bought them for at purchase) and they don’t reply to any emails and when you phone you just get pushed aside.
I was told yesterday that they were dealing with them chronologically, but considering I bought the vouchers on the day that the promo went live this is clearly a lie.
I never even received said vouchers in the first place and high they blamed on the Royal Mail strikes but it’s been over 2 months so they are full of s***!!
Avoid like the plague unless you want to lose your money.

It's been a year and half and im still waiting for a refund. What went from being a birthday present to my wife has turned into her being let down, ignored and forgotten about...after you guys messed up the booking and are completely non-contactable!... the fact of the matter is you've taken £50 from me and not provided a service... isn't that called theft?...embarrassing!
After showing up to an appointment, that we travelled almost 4 hours for...we arrive at a closed shop, no one answering phones. Now it's like we don't exist!
Where's my £400?!
When I get tattoos from the artists, I have never faulted the work done and I have had several pieces done so 5* for the work of the artists themselves.
Here's my problem -
Before the pandemic hit, I put down 2 x £200 deposits for a guest artist from Poland and due to the pandemic, she couldn't come to the UK, I understood this and there is no complaint there. However it is now 2 years on and I have not been given a refund for my deposits and feel I have been left in the dark regarding what is happening over this. I have tried to e-mail previously and have been ignored but I am trying again today with another 2 e-mails. I have also tried to phone the head office which left me with several unanswered phone calls - they might just be busy but I'm hesitant to believe this.
I am just very annoyed regarding the situation and feel Rock'n'Roll just do not care about my situation as I have tried before to get this resolved, I'm hoping to get it resolved now.
I have heard they often try to offer vouchers instead and I have had this happened to me over a flash tattoo when the artist left, I got a £85 voucher instead of my money back - ???
I want my £400 back. Not vouchers.
