Ridley Academy Recensioni

I took piano up years ago as a student but never understood the why's and how things work together. (Chords, scales, fingering, positioning.) As a child learning piano, you just do and perfect what you learn. As an adult many years later, using this method, you can now understand and appreciate piano and what you knew before.

I don’t usually leave reviews, unless I have an experience that is worth noting or exceptional. I have to say, my experience with this organization and with my first time session with Riccardo was amazing and beyond anything I expected. I learned more in one lesson, my very first, than I did in many years on my own! I was a bit nervous to start, but immediately was put at ease. I got clear direction, some gentle challenge which helped stretch me, and felt cared for and supported throughout. What a great experience! I’m now looking forward to my next lesson and my next “adventure “ coming up soon with this group! If you ever wanted to learn to play piano, or just brush off some old skills, I highly recommend the Ridley Academy! Their patience, support and skill are unsurpassed! Treat yourself!!

I was very happy with stephens program online,I didnt tell my wife how much it was untill I was half way through it but by then she could see how fast I was learning this instrument, its a very honest and straight forward way to learn if you actually follow it step by step do not move forward untill you mastered the section your on its an absolute gift and money well spent . Think about it its the coat of 20 lessons at 50e a go and iv friends gone way past 20 lessons and im miles ahead of them. Whats more is you have access to this course for life ,like me life gets in the way and I stopped playing after I had 80% of the course completed ,it was stephens emails that picked me back up and I'm now on my way to the finish line, I was very surprised to remember how to read music and play the scales ,you cant go wrong if your serious about learning how to play the piano with this course. Goodluck

Great experience and the ability to go at my own pace and within my schedule. I do recommend this program to those that ever wanted to learn the piano. It is worth every penny spent. Trust the process. After paying, you will be wondering if you wasted the money, and by the end of month 3, you will never look back at what you paid.

Well, Stephen is quite helpful and supportive.
The Academy put all it's effort to educate it's students.

I find important to give my feed back about the reasons why Ridley Academy choose Ricardo as one of their teachers.First of all he is a kind, friendly, respectful, helpful, very patient and as a good sense of humor. He has a profound knowledge and master well this instrument in all level. When he teaches, he always make sure the students understood. He will try differents ways and will repeat as many time as needed, he will never rush anyone and will always encourage all students either small or big win. He teaches with passion. And he even teaches me in french. His involvment is remarkable. I only have good things to say about Ricardo.

I've only be doing the masterclass for a few weeks but like the small bite size pieces of information. Learning the patterns in major and minor scales probably the best so far rather than trying to memorize 7 sharps and flats :-)

I have always wanted to learn to play piano; ever since my Dad bought an old upright piano. It did not sound the best, but then my Dad had it professionally tuned. I was 9 or 10 years old then. I am now 65 years old. Just over a year ago, I came across Ridley Academy. After having a ruptured aneurism in my brain, back in 2009, it took me years and years rehabilitating. After watching a presentation, by Stephen Ridley, I signed - up for the Masterclass Programme. I was all prepared to spend the 10 minutes a day, studying, practicing and playing that day's lesson. Tragically, my eldest Brother, was diagnosed with several forms of stage 4 cancers. My full attention and time was diverted from learning the piano, to taking care of all my brothers needs; taking my brother to regular weekly hospital appointments and caring for his welfare. My terminally ill brother and I were also executors to my late mother's estate. I had to execute the duties of executor, to bring a conclusion to our late mother's Last Will and Testament. There is a purpose of this prelude of the last two year's of my life. That is: Ridley Academy did not give up on me. Stephen and his team, gently encouraged me to start my Masterclass, a year after signing up for it. Guess what? I have started the Masterclass. It is structured in a way that was quite surprising to me, in that, you can spend the time you feel you need, on each lesson; go back on any lesson you need to re-visit, then move onto the next lesson. You also have access to 'finger yoga' an excellent hand and finger exercise program, and much, much more. I am so glad Stephen motivated me, in recent weeks, to get cracking on with the Masterclass. It is so good, I will be playing in no time at all. It is an investment to my future playing ability and for the magical properties that music can have on one's wellbeing, no matter if you are happy, sad or somewhere in between. I am still caring for my brother, now at the end stages of life, but now, I am progressing with one of the best investments I have ever made,,,, the Masterclass, from Ridley Academy. Thank you and Bless you all. In appreciation,,, Brian.

Ridley Academy is immensely inspiring!
The school is laid out so you get all the basics and little by little at your choice and thus at your pace.
It is fun and I learned a lot - and realized why I never made it before; this means I can now.

When I’m not traveling I will reengage with your lessons!

You are awesome in every lesson I am learning and I am very thankful for all you do. You are a gift to our world!!🫶🏼💫

Ridley Academy cares for each and every student who come to learn music with them. It does not matter if you are a complete beginner or advanced. Every level is catered for. Each student works through a Masterclass piano programme, composed by the director Stephen Ridley. This ensures that everyone can learn each level and practice the piano according to their own level and make progress to other levels quickly. You can go back and look at the recordings again if needed. Help is always at hand if you require it. They also have a mentorship program where you have access to professional musicians twice a week and have regular Webinars with Stephen Ridley. I am currently doing the mentorship now and I have experienced the rewards of this kind of tuition. For example by using chords and later reading music to play your favourite songs. Learning music this way is stimulating - why not come along and try it. You will be amazed at the progress you make - I am.

Perfect timing, good teaching.

My experience with Ridley Academy has been an exciting and rewarding chapter in my musical development. As a lifelong learner, educator, and passionate music enthusiast, I have always believed that learning, creativity, and personal growth should be lifelong pursuits. Ridley Academy has provided an opportunity to bring these values together.

One of the most meaningful aspects of my experience has been the mentorship, instructional resources, and encouragement to develop my abilities as a musician, songwriter, and performer.

My Musical Progress

Since beginning my journey with Ridley Academy, I have been working on developing my piano, guitar, vocal, songwriting, and overall musical abilities. Through structured practice, instructional videos, musical challenges, and mentorship, I have become increasingly confident in my creative expression.

I have also been working on original compositions, including The Music of Life and Brazilian Girls, Te Amo, while developing guitar arrangements, experimenting with musical styles, and strengthening my understanding of composition and performance.

One of the highlights has been working with Carlos Day, whose mentorship and feedback have contributed to my musical journey. I appreciate the opportunity to learn, ask questions, and receive guidance as I continue developing my skills.

Discovering Suno: A Creative Breakthrough

Another particularly valuable aspect of my Ridley Academy experience was the recommendation to explore Suno, an AI-assisted music creation platform.

That recommendation opened an entirely new dimension of musical creativity for me!

Through Suno, I have explored original songwriting, musical arrangements, different genres, and multilingual compositions. My projects have expanded into several songbooks, including Portuguese-language music, and a growing catalog of hundreds of musical creations and versions.

Suno has become a valuable complement to my instrumental practice and songwriting. It allows me to experiment with ideas, explore arrangements, and hear creative possibilities while continuing to develop my own abilities as a musician.

A Journey Beyond Musical Technique

What I especially appreciate about Ridley Academy is that my experience has involved more than learning notes, chords, and songs. It has encouraged me to think more creatively, build confidence, establish consistent practice habits, and pursue musical goals that once seemed distant.

As an educator with more than 28 years of teaching experience, I deeply value opportunities that encourage independent learning, meaningful engagement, and the practical application of new skills.

My Recommendation

I recommend Ridley Academy to individuals who want to invest in their musical development, explore their creative potential, and build a stronger foundation in music.

My experience has reinforced an important belief: it is never too late to learn, create, and develop new abilities.

I am grateful for Ridley Academy, the recommendation to explore Suno, and the opportunity to continue growing through musical practice, mentorship, and creativity.

Thank you, Ridley Academy, for being part of my musical journey!

As a beginner in piano lessons, I've been able to do well while studying at Ridley Academy. I like how the study program is designed to allow the student to learn and practice what has been taught and have the opportunity to join Stephen on live webinar where he teaches in a simple and fun way. Stephen dedicates the time and inspires his students to continue learning. Joining Ridley Academy has been satisfying and beneficial for my piano learning journey.

I love the program. The quality of the videos, the encouragement, the follow-up, the sense of community, etc., is second to none. I highly recommend the Master Course.

Ridley Academy offers an amazing piano learning experience! I am a beginner for sure. But, it is incredible, and surprising how much I have learned in such a short time! The program itself is extraordinary! I really appreciate not being overwhelmed by to much at once. Everything is broken down in smaller segments so it's easier to learn and absorb. And move forward with my dream! My piano coach is wonderful! So talented, impressive, and she makes it fun! Actually, everyone I've interacted with at Ridley, has been knowledgeable, helpful, kind and just great people! I would highly recommend Ridley Academy to anyone who is serious about learning and/or improving their piano skills! I also have weekly opportunities on ZOOM to meet with my coach and all her other beginner/intermediate students, that offers the camaraderie and support, that we all need along the way to success! I absolutely love my experience with Ridley Academy! :-)

Excellent program. I understood the masterclass and love Stephen's energy when he has the class and during different sessions that is done.
Im continue to work on this.
I am Canadian so the cost is USA funds.
I am not able to travel to Clearwater etc. Ch ching. Exchange rate is a no go.

Stephen and the class was GREAT. "One step at a time". At 79 and non-musical, I studied You Tube for 5 weeks and settled here. BUT ... one of their people in Europe called me at 6:30 AM to ask how I was liking the "Mentorship program". I told her I was not in that program. Then she called a second time with the same confusion. AND A 3RD TIME. They got me an affordable monthly plan. I have been learning more than playing so far. But having fun with it. No regrets.

So - did you pay $5000, or did you pay $1495, or did you pay $997? Those three prices were all quoted to me today. I paid $1395, and a few hours later, I received a text from the webinar sign in number saying that I had been selected to receive an additional $400 off the program...so it would only be $997. From a different number, a gal named Valentina, who said she was the VP of the company, reached out to see what I thought of the webinar (I'll assume she thought I hadn't signed up for the MasterClass). I asked if she would honor the $400 off, and she said it was sent out by AI and didn't have to honor it. She also said I couldn't cancel the program. So - there you have it...a bait and switch ....and if you hold out, maybe it will be even cheaper!
