I write my review title because when I congratulated the company on the phone on my experience with them and said I would write a five star review I was told about the American company using a very similar name which is garnering some pretty duff reviews.
I purchased some Delta bars a couple of years ago and recently decided I needed a ladder roller. I ordered this on line and was called the following day to ensure I had ordered the correct version. I had and the roller and kit arrived the next day. Easy fitment, nice and robust and an excellent price. If only all my purchases were so pain free. The customer service that you receive is second to none in my experience, as both purchases stand out as being exceptional. I will definitely use them again should the need arise.

Biggest mistake ever, I bout this for ontop of my camper to mount solar, storage trunks etc to the kammrack, but you can't, as there's no bracket/mounting accessories for this rack, unless you want to put a ladder or light beacon, or strap some wood on it, it's fine.

I ordered the two bar system for my 24 plate transit custom, I had great communication from the sales team and it was delivered the next day! Easy to fit and good quality. No complaints and would use again!

I ordered a basket that was dropped shipped from Rhino Rack. It took 3 weeks for them to deliver it. ZERO communication from them for updates. They are completely unprofessional and this will be the last product I order from them EVER. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS BRAND. I should have just stuck with one of the other two big names like in the past.

I had my racks for about a year, with no troubles till they clean snapped off at all four points on both cross bars, with an evenly distributed load, under the weight rating. I sent pictures of all four legs with the bent attachment points as well as the cross bars that still had the broken metal attachment points in them. Rhino racks refused the claim stating that the racks were overloaded and the cross bars weren't attached because there is no damage to the bar. I thought i was dealing with a reputable brand when I went for these racks, don't waste your time with these. afterwards I've found so many people saying the same thing.

Had a great experience today at roof racks ltd ,Jordan and Michael could not have been more helpful GREAT PRICE FOR MY REAR ROLLER and great advice on best solutioms and directions to the workshop I travelled from reading as they were very knowledgeable on the phone and were even better in person thx guys

I purchased these roof racks for two reasons, they have a vehicle specific fitting kit for my 2018 Hilux SR5 dual cab and they are Rhino rack which has always been good quality and fitment in the past. However these are let down by the fitting kit as the clamps do not fit the vehicle as designed and described in the installation manual. They will not clamp properly to the vehicle and protrude out enough to hinder the closing of the door which also has the potential to damage the paint on the door. They do not follow the curve of the vehicle when tightened to the specific tension as described in the manual. If you tighten more than recommended you can get them to pull in a bit more but still not enough.
I have checked and quadrupled check the installation and there is nothing I am doing wrong. As it turs out mine is not the only one, I was in a car park the other day and the same model Hilux had the same racks fitted. I had a close look and the clamps were not fitting properly the same as mine. I contacted Rhino and sent them photos of the installation and the poor fitting clamps. At first they seemed interested in helping but after a few back and forth emails they stopped replying. As I had purchased these racks to use, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I could see where the problem was, the shape of the clamp is incorrect. I adjusted the formed angle of the clamp above the door jam curve. I reduced the angle by using a press which fixed the problem. The clamps fit perfectly now, however the down side is the paint on the clamps got damaged a bit during the pressing process. And yes it is ridiculous that I had to do this to get them to fit properly. Wake up Rhino and check these clamps.

Absolute rubbish roof rack, no where to clamp timbers on no accessories to buy to use straps to secure the load I wish I had gone to Bolton roof racks, customer service rubbish keep away from rhino I will never buy of them again

Some of the best customer service I have received to date.

I called up to discuss my project and what I needed my roof rack for. I told them the rack I was looking at and they were very helpful and thorough with making sure I had all the correct information available to aid with the installation. They even told me to put off ordering until I was sure I had everything absolutely right.

They sent me various follow up emails after the order with helpful information regarding the tools I needed specifically for the job I was doing. As I was essentially modifying the installation process that they usually recommend.

The roof rack arrived the very next day which was a bonus. It was well packaged and had zero defects.

The roof rack seems to be of great quality and only time will tell how well these things hold up and how resistant they’re to rust.

The rack has been fitted and looks incredible on my van conversion. A very happy customer. Will recommend. Thank you

Really pleased, I called to make sure I had the right roof rack and they were very helpful. I was told that due to covid deliveries may be delayed, but it was all with me by 48 hours. DX did deliver in 2 trips, I thought there had been an error, but was called back by the sales guy to sort it for me, but it turned out this was my error and I had been told. I was really impressed with the customer care and the attention I got when they thought there had been a problem.

Very disappointed with Rhino roof rack has been on my vivaro for 3 years & is rusting away! I bought Rhino because I thought they would last , never again !!!

If I could give no star I would. AVOID this Company at all costs, I wish I had. Probably the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. I ordered a roof rack and 2 boxes arrived. We had not opened them and just thought that was how they were packaged. What followed is unbelievable. My Husband received multiple calls at work from an unknown number with no message being left which turned out to be this Company. He then had an email from them stating that they had sent 2 roof racks in error and to contact them to arrange collection. He spoke to someone and arranged a date but it was not collected. We then had a further email asking us if we could take the roof rack to a factory on a nearby industrial estate for pick up. Before I had time to reply (2 days) they sent a threatening email around the legalities of returning the item and saying we had 2 choices 1. take it to this factory or pay for the 2nd one they had sent in error. I rang them to explain we do not want it and we just want it collected. They were incredibly rude and hung up after 18 mins when we were getting nowhere. I just want the item collected, through no fault of our own this Company is being threatening for something they have sent in error and we are more than happy for them to collect. They certainly have no idea of how to treat their customers. BEWARE.

UPDATE agreed to leave out for collection again today and yet again another no show. They can't even arrange a collection of this.

You judge a business how they handle a problem, I ordered a rack and was told it would be delivered in a few days slightly longer time frame due to covid this was fine. I phoned them and they said it was going to be longer. This was a problem to me as I needed they sorted out a different one and had it out to me the next day. Thank you.

Ordered the four D bars with roller bar paid £220. Looked amazing for three days until rust appeared in every possible location it could. The advert said heavy duty zinc plating for excellent corrosion resistance. It lasted three days. Not the Rhino racks I used to think were built to a good standard, this is terrible. The supplier has been great and sent out a replacement it’s not fitted yet but looks equally thin poor quality plating. Rhino customer services have been terrible and you can’t get past it’s the suppliers problem. It may as well be a recorded message.
A company who doesn’t not have a complaints emails or number says a lot about you the valued customer. It’s the sales team who apparently deals with complaints.
Both orders have been messed up with the distributor and the rack have come in more boxes than I can can count over multiple days. If you enjoy the worst IKEA style project with five sets of instructions arriving over multiple days these roof racks are for you.
and if this isn’t bad enough they rust and need replacing so I have now spent close to a day assembling, fitting, removing, disassembling, reassembling and fitting.
Lucky for Rhino I can’t upload pics to show you what a roof rack looks like in under one week fitted.

Avoid the Rhino Kammbar Roof Bar system at all costs!!

I ordered a 4 bar system through Vandemon, including a rear ladder roller. The initial delivery was awful - delayed delivery, incompetent couriers and missing parts.

But the worst part - the rear roller fell away from its mounting as I was driving along less than 2 months after purchase. This is a heavy bar and could have resulted in a serious accident if it had fell off on a busy road or motorway.

And Rhinos response - apparently the product was 'misused' !! Based solely on my photos they decided I'd misused it by putting a ladder on the roof rack - seriously!! No investigation - nothing.

I'm now left with a product that is if no use and Rhino do not want to know.

Avoid Rhino Roof Racks at all costs!!

Some of the worst customer service I've received. Do not settle with the top search results when searching "roof racks" or "rhino racks". Here’s a summary of what happened to me.
I decided to take a dive and pursue something that had been on my bucket list for while which was to do a motorhome conversion. I got on with ordering the parts to make this happen which included a roof rack. I chose rhinoroofracks.com because there prices seemed reasonable, though, roof racks are definitely not cheap. I ordered it on the Friday and the rack came the following Monday.
Though the delivery was prompt I was not informed by the seller or courier that my consignment was made up of 7 separate boxes. I was unable to notify my neighbour of this as I didn’t know. My neighbour signed for the delivery and informed me that it had arrived. When I got home I received 6 packages and the fixings for the roof rack were missing. At this point, I didn’t know I was expecting 7 packages.
The next day I called roofracks.com and expressed to them that the rack came promptly and undamaged but the fixings were missing. They said they’d follow up with the manufacturer and courier. Dave informed me I would get confirmation before the end of the working day… I didn’t. The next morning I called to see where we had got to. He said the factory was unable to find the package in their warehouse and that there was nothing they could do on their part. After having to ask, Dave gave me the number to Rhino Products (the manufacturer). I followed up with them who had informed me that they are still looking… contradictory to what Dave told me.
Throughout the day my anxiety was rising as my multiple conversations with Rhinoroofracks.com felt like repeatedly running into a brick wall. It was becoming more and more evident that I would be with £650 rack with no means of fitting it.
At one point another gentlemen had agreed to send out a replacement set of fixings if the manufacturer or courier couldn’t find them but then I received an accusatory email where they back tracked and denied me a replacement. The courier allegedly said to them that a man signed for my packages, not a woman. Needless to say this was completely and utterly untrue as I am quite close with my neighbour who is an elderly WOMAN. Immediately called the courier to understand why fabrications were being made about who had signed for it. They then told me that on their records it was indeed an elderly woman who signed for it. WHAT ARE RHINOROOFRACKS PLAYING AT?!
This is ongoing and I have to take this further.
Dave, the customer service supervisor was extremely difficult with me and remained cold despite expressing my distress. It’s atrocious how companies who communicate poorly with each other leave the customer out of pocket when it’s all said and done. In the end I had to re-buy the fixings for £72. Disgusting.
Rhinoroofracks.com do not value your custom. God forbid if anything goes wrong with your order that happens to be worse than just a box of missing fixings….

Update: They discovered that the courier forged my signature and sent a replacement box of fixings out to me. I am glad I didn't have to escalate things further to my card supplier. Dave was very Apologetic for the mix up but not for his customer service prior.
