Paper slipcase
Ordered their Summer 2023 issue of the magazine with Ghost on the cover for $10. I ordered the issue with a custom numbered slipcase by a so called special artist. The slip case was an extra $30. What a joke a thick piece of heavy paper with gold graphics and a #202 of 250 stamped on the back. For a total of $40? I should have just ordered the magazine. Slipcase was a huge disappointment.

Subpar customer support...
I pre-ordered Poppy's "Stagger" EP vinyl from Revolver Magazine's website on the 9th of December 2022, received an update about delays due to vinyl production on the 21st of March 2023 and got my order shipped on the 26th of April 2023 with APC Postal Logistics. Once the order was handed to the "local" carrier Pactic Delivery (there's no such delivery company in Bulgaria), the tracking stated for 2 weeks every other day that my order was out for delivery until it finally showed as being returned. I never got a call, email or SMS about a delivery date from Pactic Delivery. Looked into their website and it's more business oriented rather than user so I didn't find a way to reach them. Reached to APC's support and they informed me there's nothing they can do about it so I should inform the store about the situation to get their help. I wrote my first email explaining the situation to Revolver's "support" (shop @ revolvermag.com) on the 5th of June and got an automated email with more tracking links. I messaged their Instagram account (@ revolvermag) on the 13th of June but didn't get a response. Wrote another email looking for an update on the 15th of June with no answer or automated email. Waited anxiously for some sort of response. Wrote another message on Instagram on the 17th of July and didn't get a response again, not even a "Seen". I didn't get a response to my emails until I found a phone number from my order's information page under the hyperlinked "Contact Us" (at the time of writing this review, the hyperlink doesn't work). When I called on the 18th of July the representative informed me that the number was previously used by Revolver Magazine but isn't associated with them anymore, I asked if there's any way for them to reach out so I can get my case looked into and they told me they'll try but cannot guarantee me anything. I received a response a couple of hours after the call that a specialist will help me once my package has been returned (it was returned to them on the 4th of July), so I informed them right away that the package was already returned to them at the beginning of the month. Didn't receive a response. I emailed them again on the 27th of July, asking for an update and got the exact same email which leads me to believe both emails I got from "customer support" were automated emails/templates. My last email to them is from the 28th of July, with all the details and information regarding my case. I still haven't received a response and am hoping for an actual response, not a template or automatic email, because it's been 3 months since my order got shipped, which was supposed to be delivered between the 16th-18th of May, and almost a month since it got returned without any help from their side.

Terrible customer service

They sent a damaged product twice
They sent a damaged product twice. Then offered me my return which they refunded to an unknown card. Not mine. Now it has been months since anyone replied. This company is trash! DO NOT ORDER from them. You will be sorry. They do not care once they have your payment.
16 months later & nothing
16 months later and many, many emails. I haven't received part of the order. Was promised a refund for the missing items and said that they had processed it March 7th, 2023 and it would appear on my account in 2-3 business days.
Still nothing and not replying to emails. BUYER BEWARE
Never true to there word
Once again Ryan and Revolver has proven to be liars and dishonest at the highest level. Recieved a email on the 19th of May stating I would get my refund in 3 days. It's now 12 days later and my account has not been refunded. More emails on my behalf have been ignored so in keeping with there shady business practices they remain excellent in that department. HOW DO THEY SLEEP AT NIGHT?
Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service. Received a wrong item and I've been emailing back and forth for 2 weeks. Ryan is the name of the person who responded. Will not buy anything again with them.
TON box
14 January 2022 I have ordered TON box, it was fully paid by me. Shipping to Poland. This was 2nd time I have ordered TON box from them, first one arrived late but arrived.
I have then received an email from Revolver on 14 June 2022 saying that shipping will be postponed till July 2022. Again, on 30 August 2022 once again, delayed and planned for October 2022. Finally on 23 November 2022 it was shipped…
On 08 December 2022 package departed USA.
Since then, all I have received back from APC is “Please reach out to your merchant for any further information or instructions. We are unable to provide any additional information”. As for Revolver I have received no replies at all for the last 4 emails.
This is joke!!!

The customer support Team
The customer support Team - Mr. Ryan and others are very hard to communicate. After 9 emails you barely get any responses apart from the automated answer. They even can't provide you a solution and give you any alternative options. I am still waiting for a solution despite several attempts to communicate with them regarding my order.
BE CAREFUL when you order from this people. I am not going to order any more.
Revolver Magazine has went down hill…
Revolver Magazine has went down hill severely recently, as has ALL online record shops for the most part.
What they are doing is not only deliberate, but it's fraudulent and I have concrete evidence to back this claim.
I will be contacting the BBB tomorrow to file a report and I'm in the process of not only hiring an investigative journalist, but also plan on filing legal action against not only Revolver Magazine, Brooklyn Vegan, and slew of other online retailers that have recently used "COVID" as a one word excuse to justify outright fraud and lies.
The advertisements are deceptive in nature. These are not limited or exclusive releases in any way what so ever. The albums they release are reissued 10x over by shop after shop.
They take pre-orders and put huge disclaimers about known delays because of "COVID". This is frankly an outright lie. While there can be truth to some of these statements, in very specific cases, the bulk of online shops have banded together in an effort to rake in as much money as possible.
Deliberate efforts are made to hope that buyers simply forget. You can bet they are not going to just fulfill your order "when it's received". Rather, they will hold the item (and actually receive it long before they admit they are in possession), all the while they have had your cash in hand for months on end trying to source the cheapest possible way to press the albums and hope that you won't follow up so they can resell it online at not only a 2-3x mark up, but also keep your original payment, including shipping.
This is a common practice these days and it's frankly not going to be tolerated. I am blowing the whistle on all the organized BS that these shops have been pulling over the course of the last year or so. Trust me when I say I have concrete evidence.
Literally there's absolutely no way possible for you to know who I may any associates I have that are directly involved in the manufacturing process and shipment of these "preorders" that never get fulfilled.
I have dates with timestamps showing that they will outright lie to you about if they have received an item that they have already shipped to other consumers. I literally have the tracking details to confirm exact dates of shipments and a laundry list of emails showing original order date, first follow up, second follow up, first response from retailer with BS explanation, responses calling them out on their BS, them replying to try to justify/explain/rationalize to themselves that that they "never received the item" but yet fail to respond when you present evidence that disproves what they are saying.
Anticipate a huge lawsuit, newspaper articles, and hopefully some justified arrests and convictions. This is nothing more than organized crime if you ask me.
It's literally just a waiting game at this point. It may take another year or so, but once the truth is out, you cannot place a lid on it. REVOLVER IS A SCAM as are MOST online record shops these days.
Revolver is literally one of at least 6 separately owned shops that I have cold hard evidence on of deceptive, unethical, and flat out illegal business practice taking place. All in the name of making an extra dollar.

UPDATED: I got a refund. After almost 1 year and a half of waiting for my vinyl, I got a refund with no explanation. Glad to have my money back but it's a pity that I was hoping to get my package for so long.
I've ordered my Type O Negative Bloody Kisses vinyl in the beginning of 2022. I still haven't received my package. Revolver Mag stopped responding.
I haven't received neither vinyl or refund.
On 19th of November, I received a tracking number for my package from APC Postal Logistics. Now I contacted them and they replied with this message: "Thank you for contacting APC Postal Logistics!
I am showing that we received the data electronically for your parcel on 19 November 2022 To date, we have not received the actual parcel.
I would suggest that you contact the merchant you purchased from to confirm if/when your item will be sent to us for processing.
Once received, parcels are processed within 24-48 hours."
I guess Revolver didn't even send my order. They stole my money.
Issues with order from Revolver Magazine
As I was reading the previous reviews, I realized there is a pattern here. I placed an order in early December 2022 for one t-shirt and two vinyl records. They kept changing the description of the ad for the time it would be shipped, from December, to January, to February. In early March, I sent a couple of emails through the Shop app. I got the following reply from a Ryan:
"I apologize that your order has not shipped in a timely manner. I have let our warehouse know to ship this order as soon as they are able to. You should receive an email with tracking information as soon as your order ships. If you do not receive an email with tracking information in the next 3 business days, please let me know."
Nothing came if it. No more replies, no movement on my order. I cannot return the items as they are collectibles. They are based in the U.S., so shipping to Canada should not be difficult.
I wish I had checked all of the reviews before ordering the items.
Update from March 28: My order has arrived, after 4 months and several email complaints. Everything is good with the products, but I still stand by my aforementioned comments. They need to improved customer service.
Avoid at all costs
I placed an order in early Nov 22 for three items. Having heard nothing from them by mid Jan 23, I sent an email. I did receive a response from Ryan, a customer service assistant saying,
"I apologize that your order has not shipped in a timely manner. I have let our warehouse know to ship this order as soon as they are able to. You should receive an email with tracking information as soon as your order ships. If you do not receive an email with tracking information in the next 3 business days, please let me know."
Since then they have not responded to any further emails.
They still have my $90 and I have no records.
I understand that things happen but the complete failure to communicate and acknowledge that they cannot complete an order is shocking.
They have so much potential but they should stick to the US market rather than trying and failing to service an international demand.
I wish I had checked this site before ordering. The reviews don't lie!
Poor Customer Service & Quality; Slow to Ship
Ordered limited edition Motorhead shirt on 30-Dec-2022. No confirmation of order ever received, but card was charged. Emailed them 27-Jan-2023 that it had not been received. Response said that they would let the warehouse know. Tried calling number on my card statement 12-Feb and woman in shirt printing plant answered. She said there is no way to call Revolver--you just have to try and email them again. Emailed and received no response. Opened dispute with credit card 16-Feb and then item arrived 19-Feb. Shirt is poor quality with blotchy graphics like it was printed on a printer with low ink cartridges and the colors are not as presented on the website.
