We ave been looking at adding battery storage to our house since moving in at the end of 2021 during this time we looked at various different systems with nothing quite meeting our needs until the Myenergi Libbi came along which suited perfectly. As soon as the product launched we sent out enquiries to almost every installer that was approved in Scotland with only a small handful ever coming back to us. Alan from Renew-able was the first to respond within a day of our query. After giving us a quote he arranged to come visit us to discuss what we were looking from the installation and what our needs were. This was the first great experience we had as all others only sent short emails with prices and there was little thought given to our needs. We quickly set on going ahead with the quote from and proposals from Alan and the process has been fantastic. There were some slight delays due to supply issues but they managed to get us up an running in just a couple of months. The aftercare service has also been brilliant any questions we have had have been quickly answered and the ongoing support checking in on us and making sure we are happy with everything has been brilliant.

10/10 would highly recommend anyone looking to install a home battery storage system to give Renew-able a call

I contacted Alan because the company who had fitted panels for us had 'disappeared' without providing an MCS certificate. The company that had fitted these have been reported to trading standards and seem to now not answer their phones or emails. I have found others who had difficulties with them.
Working with Renew Able Solutions was a completely different and really good experience. The quotation given to fix the poor installation and make this MCS compatible was good, the initial visit informative, and the the work was completed within a week as we had some time pressure to have this done. The electrician Paul was very well informed and helpful, explaining how the systems worked and how to get the best from them. We had a car charger and immersion heater control fitted as well as sorting out the MCS and panels.

It was great to work with Alan. The entire process was smooth and stress free, right from coordinating with our roofer to the completion and handover. Alan wasn’t trying to sell as many panels as possible, but instead advised us on the number of panels based on usage.

I'll begin by saying this is a 5 star review but I'll go into more detail so that you know what to expect. Renew-able have installed 14 PV Panels, a 3.6 kWh inverter and a 9.5 kWh battery. Orientation of the house for panels is E-W. The initial plan was to install 8 panels on East and 6 panels on West based on suncalc for efficiency and still have some power in the afternoon. The inverter and the battery would go into the loft.
The panels on West we're installed as initially planned. The one's on the East we're installed in an L shape insteadod a straight line and I'll tell you why. Although I was aware of the Sun path I did not realise that the dormer above bedroom 1 would cast a shade on the panels. Also Alan made me aware that the panels have to be at least 400 mm away from the edge so that they won't get blown by the wind. I realised later on there is an en-suite fan exhaust grille in that area which was avoided, just in case there will be something wrong with it in the future and needs replacing. Although the layout is not as pretty as I was hoping for, it follows all the rules and regulations and all factors have been considered. Now about the GivEnergy battery and inverter. I must say I really like them, also the GivEnergy app is very intuitive. As I mentioned before the plan was for them to go into the loft. When the battery arrived, I've helped to carry it. That thing is really heavy and compact. I would not want that over my head. If it falls trough the ceiling it could kill you. The next option was under the stairs. Not a lot of space but that wasn't the problem. There wasn't enough air for the inverter heat exchanger. Next best option was the garage but I did not want any cables visible so they've hidden the cables in visible areas in the ceiling and for the rest they've used trunking. I was very happy with the cables route from the loft to the garage, a little bit difficult if you've got the electric panel and meter in the middle of the house.
The system was commissioned the same day without any issues. Overall I'm impressed with the installation and I'm very happy with my system. One thing I would say is you might not get what want depending on your scenario and roof configuration but the staff is very knowledgeable and will help and answer all your queries. Don't forget to buy the extended warranty for the inverter. It will give you additional peace of mind. Good luck!

After getting quotes from various installers for a solar battery and inverter I chose this firm largely because they explained it all clearly, answered all questions knowledgeably and were very comfortable to deal with. The job was done on time, with no fuss and, very importantly, we felt very comfortable having them in the house. Delighted at the battery performance. Our electricity bill literally halved from March (pre install) to April. Professional, courteous and very skilled. What more could you want?

I placed an order with Alan and Renew-Able Solutions for 2 x EcoFlow Delta 2 power banks in late 2022.
Alan had responded to my initial interest via social media sites dedicated to solar based equipment. I knew that there was a likely time delay in getting the Delta 2 in the UK but Alan placed an order and within weeks they were available. In addition I was also looking for a solar panel to help charge the Delta 2 in an off - grid environment. This he also provided and installed.
An indication of the level of customer service was indicated by the fact that Alan offered to meet me with the Delta 2's close to where I live. This he did shortly after Christmas, knowing that the solar panel and fixing materials would be delayed. I was so pleased with that level of service, that I subsequently switched my longstanding order for house battery and inverter to Alan and Renew Able Solutions. This kit has since been installed.
Apart from the EcoFlow products being a really good piece of kit, the level of customer service and support from Alan has been exceptional

Alan was extremely helpful. He took the time to explain, but most importantly, he took the time to listen. He didn’t SELL me the items that I bought, he helped me to clarify my ideas, and narrow down my choices until I had what I NEEDED, not the most expensive one he had available. He even emailed me to point out the weight factor of one item I had chosen, just in case I hadn’t noticed…and I hadn’t! It could have caused me a problem, but his thoughtful email enabled me to adjust my plans. He kept me up to date on the stock and delivery situation… and he was a pleasure to deal with - I really can’t thank him enough. I was initially nervous about making such a large, (for me),
investment, but I was in very safe hands and am glad to recommend Alan and his company to anyone looking for QUALITY service.

Spoke to Allan on the phone to check that the River 2 was in stock, Ordered 24th Feb and arrived by courier 28th Feb. Fantastic service from the phone call to the delivery. Now looking forward to many adventures with it. Very neat size so will be handy to use anywhere. Highly recommend this company and the product as well

Fantastic service from Alan and his team at Renew-Able solutions.
After being badly let down by another company due to install our PV (solar) panels, Alan stepped into the breach carrying out the work quickly and efficiently, communicating at every turn.

We contacted Renew-able solutions after our neighbour had a solar installation carried out.

Initially we contacted them via phone call but received our quotes and contract all by email. Price wise they were not the cheapest but they did carry out their duties to a high standard.

Overall we have been very impressed with the level of service and workmanship carried out and have no hesitation to recommend to others.
