We had our solar installation completed by Sol4r Energy at our property in Crawley, and the whole experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish.

This was a large project on a massive roof, but the team handled everything with complete confidence and professionalism, they are genuinely on a different level.

Usman from sales was excellent throughout, always clear, responsive, and easy to deal with. On installation, Wasim and Asim were brilliant and delivered the job to a very high standard. Wasim even fixed an issue with our air conditioning system something completely unrelated to the install which just shows the level of skill and care these guys bring.

There was also a technical team member (I unfortunately didn’t catch his name) who went far above and beyond, fixing additional issues on our roof and working around all the cabling concerns I had, without charging anything extra.

The workmanship, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile is something you don’t see often. These guys are truly on a very different level.

Was recommended through a friend who had an excellent experience and service with them. They called at my convenience and talked me through the process. Came over for a more detailed survey and were flexible in my request to not have panels on the roof and install on the flat roof. Provided a detailed breakdown on benefits and potential savings. Were flexible on the quote and accommodated my changes and on installation day worked tirelessly to ensure install and commissioning was completed even through the we had all 4 seasons in one day with the weather.

Excellent communication throughout, and so far very good after care. Would highly recommend this company. Am now looking to get my AC and EV charger installed by them.

We entered into a contract with Sol4Energy to install solar panels at our home. They did no evaluation to ascertain suitability of these panels for our property leading to a failed installation and causing damage to our property during installation.

It has been a very frustrating process to claim just our deposit back (it took them 2 months to return our deposit back after numerous emails and calls). They also refused to take any accountability for damages caused to our property (even though the contract allows for this). They went radio silent and never returned calls.

Their sales process on the other hand is highly misleading where they make tall claims on the benefits of solar and their service (example our solar panels will take your EPC to a guaranteed A - which we all know is not accurate) and take calls at all times of the day giving a false sense of proactiveness. They are nowhere to be found if things go wrong.

In summary, a highly irresponsible and unprofessional setup that I would avoid at all cost. If you use them, please double check all proposals with a structural engineer on suitability of panels as they have no such capability. We never leave negative reviews for any business, but felt compelled to do so in this instance so future customers can avoid landing in a similar situation.

An excellent installer of solar power and a contractor who provides good and timely advice pre and post installation. In a market crowded with opportunists with limited regard for customers, my experience of this company is of a team who listens to its clients and aims to deliver its best at all times.

The staff were honest and helpful.
Their messaging was the same from start to finish , very reassuring, no hidden costs.

Very prompt service with regard to booking the survey and installing the panels, battery and car charger. Good price, much better value than the two quotes from the leading utility companies and much more flexible as to where they would install the panels so we could have 15 rather than the 10 or 5 max quoted by the other two. We are very pleased with the system and installation. Connecting the car to Octopus was painful - all email addresses for car, charger and octopus need to be the same which we were not advised of prior to setting up accounts but otherwise a very good experience.

Deciding to install solar panels is a big investment. I had several quotes and discussions with prospective providers to make the correct decision. Out of all of the quotes, Sol4r Energy stood out. They (Mark) listened to what I wanted and my concerns. Unlike other providers, Mark advised me on panels and more importantly, battery performance.
I then decided that I would trust Sol4r Energy with the installation.
No regrets whatsoever. Brilliant. Avtar and his team were very professional and talked me through the process of installing. Very clean and excellent work with the cabling.
The app provided is very good. It’s addictive to watch how much energy is being produced and used.
I have had a few follow up visits and calls with Salah to see how I am getting on with the system. I have been advised what I need to do next with certification so I can get on the right tariff with the right supplier.
I now have an excellent system that will reduce my costs by 75% so I am no longer dreading the next energy price cap cycle.
These guys are very passionate about the products. It’s a refreshing experience that they are not going to sell you any old product. They listen to ensure that you get the best possible product for your needs.

Solar panel installation the team at sol4r arranged my planning application and although this was a lengthy process once planning was approved, the installation went ahead.The product is absolutely amazing and the installation team were nothing short of brilliant,I am a very fussy customer but I could not fault their workmanship in anyway from start to finish, Great job guys, now enjoying free Electricity can't thankyou enough Peter.

After eight months my Growatt inverter developed a fault and my generation dropped to half of the rated capacity and it stayed that way for ~3months. When I noticed the issue I reached out to Sol4r and within three weeks of my email, I had a team come over and inspect everything and replace the faulty inverter on the spot. This was a commendable step because going through the warranty claim would have taken more time but Sol4r was able to offset that. There were a few communication delays from Sol4r that caused some stress, but I later found out it was because of absences and personal reasons. Through this experience Sol4r once again demonstrated their excellent service and commitment to their customer.

This is a review for a solar panel installation done by Sol4r energy. We had 14 solar panels, Growatt SPH5000 inverter/battery (5kW) and a Zappi 2.1 EV charger installed by Sol4r team in Sep 2023 (in Worcestershire, the price was ~12k). The work was done very professionally by Mr.Salah and his team. From the initial quotation phase to the end of the job, they were very helpful in explaining the details (including the technical aspects) in a clear and genuine manner. At no point did we feel like they were trying to coerce us into anything, we felt like they were sincere and reasonable. The team showed up on time as promised for fitting the scaffolding and within a week we had the installation complete. All of the electrical and mechanical work was done swiftly by his team who were friendly and competent. I was very pleased with how they handled everything and in one day we transformed into a solar powered home. The DNO paper work that came after the installation stalled due to some unseen reasons but I am quite sure it was due to the bottleneck on the end of our grid supplier and not Sol4r. I eventually got the G98 approval in Dec 2023 and the communication from Sol4r could have been a bit better. Although all the necessary details for chasing this DNO application was provided by Sol4r; it did take many emails, phone calls and voice messages to get there and I found this a bit stressful. The aftercare from Sol4r has been very good and they did come through on that promise. Whenever I needed some technical assistance, whether to configure the settings on the Growatt app or for the Zappi EV charger, Mr.Salah was responsive and very helpful indeed. Overall we are very satisfied with the installation, price and aftercare we received from Sol4r and one area they can improve on is with the communication during the DNO application. I would recommend Sol4r and Mr.Salah for your solar convertion.

Great with all aspects of the installation and trustworthy company. The team were very efficient and knowledgeable. Throughout the process they went above and beyond to ensure I was updated and happy with the installation. They resolved all the issues left by my previous installer. From initial quote to completion of our solar install we have been 100% happy with our dealings with Sol4r Energy.
