I've recently finished Level 1 BSL, and Laura was such a patient and insightful teacher. I had the best time, whilst also feeling supported throughout the learning. Would high recommend Remark! if you are looking to learn BSL

It was awesome going through the journey of British sign language level 1 with Remark ltd. Especially my teacher, she was exceptionally great. I would love to continue this journey with Remark.

Loved it! Laura was an amazing teacher. She was engaging and energetic, and made the lessons fun. The group I studied with was fantastic too. I’ve already signed up for level 2.
10/10 or 5/5 whatever the rating is it’s a full score from me.

I did my BSL level 3 at remark. Bibi is an amazing teacher I have improved my signing skills through her. Classes were in evening 6-9. All of the students passed their exams that showed that the teacher is putting so much efforts and hardwork into it. Highly recommend.

My experience of the BSL Level 1 course was excellent. My teacher was engaging, friendly and professional, and I had a varied group of classmates. The staff are friendly, the building is in a convenient central location and has a welcoming vibe. I'd highly recommend learning BSL here!

I absolutely loved my time with Remark! I studied BSL Level 1 and found it to be such an incredible time. Every Thursday, 6pm - 9pm. I enjoyed getting to know everyone on my course. Yatz taught us with ease, understanding and lots of fun. It was a perfect balance, I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to try something new. I can't believe how much I learned in such a short time.

We received fantastic personalised Deaf Awareness Training! It was entertaining, engaging and informative and we would definitely recommend.

I found the BSL taster session offered by Remark very informative and also an indicator of what BSL signing involves. I learnt more about the issues facing deaf people (we tried lip reading which is very challenging) and also a taster of BSL sign language - both signing generally and fingerspelling. The tutor John is himself deaf and so all the session was conducted by him in sign language (so we could get an idea of what it looked like) with the assistance of an interpreter who interpreted his words into spoken English and a powerpoint presentation which we could read. We were given plenty of opportunity to ask questions.

It's been the most wonderful experience doing BSL level 1 with Laura from Remark. Such brilliant and fun teaching, answering all our many questions. I've so enjoyed fully investing in learning something again and been impressed with how much we are able to communicate already. It felt a good balance of general learning and exam-specific prep. It was the highlight of my week and I can't wait to put into practice.

I absolutely loved doing my level 1 BSL course with Laura. I learnt so much and found the sessions so engaging and have finished it confident enough to have a basic conversation with a BSL user. Thank you so much for the opportunity; my Thursday mornings will feel so empty without the regular BSL slot now!

I’ve had a really positive learning with remark on the level 1 course with Yatz, incredibly comprehensive and enjoyable with enough repetition to help me feel confidence and wide range of vocab so I feel like I can hold conversations well. Highly recommend!

I have been with Remark for the taster session as well as Level 1 and Level 2. Their teaching standard is really high, classes are fun and friendly, and it's a supportive environment. They also have a free "sign club" on Mondays where you can practice with other students and Deaf people. It's a great place!

My husband and I thought the course was a great way of gaining an insight into learning sign language. Very inclusive course, with everyone getting involved. Yatz Gil was very good and kept everyone interested.

I attended the recent free sign language taster session at remark! It was absolutely fantastic, very informative and a great experience. For someone deaf in one ear I enjoyed the experience and learned some basic sign language which I have been practicing.
