My son's name is Ram and he loves buying Ram equipment and kit, so he has his name on it. Always good quality, delivered promptly

I bought a stump hole device, only used with a soft mallett! it broke within a couple of weeks, RAM replaced it, but the same thing happened, I did not bother sending back!
It was Cast Metal and not suitable for the job!

I ordered nearly £100 worth of cricket clothing from Ram Cricket (Ram), and a high number of other players of my club also purchased similar levels of cricket clothing, for our centenary year in 2013.

I purchased this at the start of May 2013 with the expectation that this would be delivered by the end of June, as I understood that the terms of my club's contract with Ram was that it would manufacture a bulk batch of clothing once it knew how much was ordered by the end of each month, which it would then take 4 weeks to deliver.

However, it took nearly two months from the end of May to deliver kit to me and other players in our team. This meant that we only had use of the kit we had purchased for the remaining month of our centenary season.

For players in our colt sides, this delay in delivery meant that the majority of young players did not get full use of their kit until the 2014 season, a year after the club's centenary.

This is entirely Ram's fault as they were pressed numerous times as to when we would receive our kit with no response. Ram only honoured our kit deals once my club threatened to request everyone's money back due the fact that we had a cricket week to celebrate our centenary year at the end of July and had not received our kit by the middle of July.

When I received my kit, the packaging in which it came in looked like it had been put together by a five year old. When I picked my kit up from the Royal Mail office, I was presented with a cardboard box ripped on all sides which contained kit that had not been folded and looked like it had just been thrown inside without any care for the customer.

When I opened the box to look at my kit, I found the embroidery on every item of clothing to be of the poorest quality that I have ever seen. As previously mentioned being my club's centenary year, and having designed a new logo for the occasion, I can only express my upmost disappointment with the lack of care that Ram appeared to have taken while producing these products. This level of quality was reflected amongst all purchases made through our club.

Consequently, no member of my club has any intention of making future purchases from Ram, and will be advising anyone looking for new kit to seek alternative suppliers.
