Order took just a little over a week to arrive. Yodel delivered them They were well packed. The pies are a good size, filled to the brim. We have eaten the cheese and onion and meat and potato. Both were very tasty. Would recommend them.

2nd time ordering pies and yet again pies are brilliant, we ordered 6 different ones and several of each. The quality of the filling is brilliant for the prices charged and they are so tasty and very filling. Will be back .

i’ve only had the steak one so far which had a lot of meat in no complaints on that side

sadly it was a little salty and ruined the experience

5star steak and Stilton pies , absolutely delicious not a bit of fat or gristle the gravy wasn’t salty either . Pastry was not too thick just right .Nicely packaged as well too.
Steak was tender and the Stilton you can taste it too. Highly recommended and I will be ordering more in future.

I’ve emailed twice, no response, tried to phone but number doesn’t exist. It’s the first time I’ve ordered the pies, still no response. As a first time buyer I tried to get the 40% off 1st order, but wasn’t allowed to get discount. Surely customers ought to be able to phone you for any queries. I’m a bit annoyed about it.

Had a bit of toing and throwing with my order, 3 Emails, Phoned number that dose not exist. And a couple of messages on there Facebook page. Eventually Noel got back to say that my order was ready for dispatch and would be delivered the next day, By tracking number too.
It was a long wait, and well worth it. The pies are yummy.
All I can say is to Radford Pie Company is you must keep in touch and answer all inquires. That's all we ask. Keep people informed if your running late on orders. We will understand as your pies are very much worth the wait.

Love the shortcrust pastry. The meatiest pie I've ever had and meat is so tender. No gristle or fat. My daughter ordered them as a treat for me. Absolutely delicious

I previously left a bad review but then received an email from Noel who handled my complaint personally. He looked into my delivery, resent the order and provided me with a tracking order on request. He was very courteous and patient with me when I didn’t deserve it as I’m a raging stresshead!

The issue lies with the courier who somewhere had a miscommunication. Weekly deliveries were being mixed up with weekend deliveries, parcels were becoming missing, drivers were accidentally discarding boxes to the wrong addresses. Upon contacting the courier directly and speaking to Ned, they explained the issues to me and arranged for my delivery to be delivered the next day even though it was down for a Saturday delivery. They kept me updated throughout the whole process to reassure me and now between the pair of them I have a very happy neighbour who is a big fan of these pies and misses Morecambe.

I’m really grateful they managed to sort this for me, but any issues definitely lie with APC overnight. They are not a reliable courier that seems to have many issues out of their control, which is making the Radford’s look bad when they are trying their best.

Maybe give them a second chance before throwing in the towel…I know I’m so glad I did. Had my first taste tonight and absolutely fantastic, best pie we’ve ever had. Thanks guys, so grateful once again

This is I believe my 3rd or 4th order. I can’t complain about the first ones appart from the fact I did think at the time they picked the wrong delivery company. APC are not great, with little to no update at all. And I remember emailing a first time and never getting a reply.

I ordered £60 worth of pies end of May. I had absolutely NO informations regarding the delivery. No reply to my email asking were the pies were. And one day, 3 weeks later, we get the pies delivered with no email or anything sent prior from the delivery company. To my surprise, I realise the pies have been sent over 8 days ago and wether it’s the company or APC, the fact is my pies were left in a warehouse for over 8 days. If I didn’t realise the date on the box I probably would have ate pies that were completely off. They were all binned that day.
I sent I believe 4 emails, tried to call, messaging on messenger and were left with no reply. I then read all the reviews on here and realise I’m not the first one getting nowhere with customer service.
To my surprise, a week later, I finally got an answer to my many emails and they told me they would wend me a new batch.
2 weeks later, I finally received my pies, with another 2 emails ignored and no tracking info sent neither from Radford or APC

I have to say the 3 stars is only because the pies are by far the best pies I have ever had. But Radford you NEED to sort your customer service. You NEED to swap your delivery company even if it means customer paying a bit more towards delivery fees. Use Evri or DPD. It’s such a shame. I am not ordering ever again that is for sure. Took 6 weeks to get somewhere, it is honestly shocking…

We have just received a mixed pack of pies as a gift, we had the steak & ale this evening, absolutely delicious, best pie I have tasted, full of meat and the pastry was gorgeous. We will definitely be putting an order in for more! Thank you

Beware of passing on your hard earned money to this business.
As suggested by my father since he watches the TV show, I ordered pies online several weeks ago. None were delivered.
On attempting to follow up for an update:
1. The business has not returned or acknowledged my many email requests.
2. The business phone number as advertised, says 'you have dialled an incorrect number'
I will never make this mistake again and certainly would not recommend others take the risk. Very disappointing experience and a joke, considering the media attention and exposure they have. They should know and do better !

We were in Morecambe on holiday this week and decided to visit The Radfords pie shop. We purchased 2 Steak & Stilton pies and took them home with us, heated up 2 days later and wow!! Absolutely delicious 😋 never tasted a pie so nice and the pie was full to the brim with filling. Wish we lived closer as would definitely be returning. Definitely worth a visit if your that way.

Delicious pies but communication very bad.
I have emailed 3 times and been informed they have lost my order.
I sent all details but haven’t heard back.
They did however take the money out of my account !!!
Now I am trying to get my money back.
Not worth the hassle.
Very bad customer service.

I ordered 6 pies of different varieties was clearly told up to 2 weeks wait due to high demand and it was just under that but so so worth it the pies are delicious my husband loved the chicken and gammon I only ordered one of them so didn't taste it myself but I take his word for it because he's fussy he said it was the best pie he had ever eaten!! I also loved my chicken and mushroom one which was full to the brim with shredded chicken which was so nice
The steak and mushroom was also full of chunky steak but not as much mushroom but still very tasty

My favourite was the cheese and onion that was to die for

I did order a mince and onion pie too but I did find it a bit to much salt and pepper in it but that's just my opinion

Aside from the mince and onion their pies are beautiful they arrive in a temperature controlled box and you can also freeze them but I ate all mine within a few days so no need for freezing for me

I did receive a text message on the day they were due to be delivered with a time from the courier so that was great

Highly recommend so much so u have literally just placed another order before I wrote this review just a shame I will have to wait up to 2 weeks I really could eat one right now 😀

We ordered 6 pies. All were absolutely delicious. I was told by email delivery would be in 2 weeks. Was 2 weeks but well worth the wait. The cheese and onion were the best I’ve ever had and my sister said the steak pie and the chicken were just as delicious. Will order again 😊

Placed order on website 1st april 2024 with wait time of 2 weeks. Over a month later still no order and no reply to any of my email chasers and surprise surprise no refund of my money

I placed an order which was charged to my account in January but never received the order. My emails go unanswered and there is no phone number to speak to anyone. Very disappointed with this company.

My order eventually got delivered 4 weeks after I placed my ordered. They never answered my numerous emails which I think they need to sort out. We've had the chunky steak pie which was delicious. Chicken and gammon was just chicken. But it was lovely. We had the sticky toffee pudding which was gorgeous. Will I order again. Mmmm not sure

My mum placed an order on 19th March and received a courier email to say they were dispatched on 2nd April to be delivered on 3rd April. They did not arrive, we tried to call Radford Pies to no avail, The pies arrived on 6th April and were inedible. I have emailed 3 times and sent a message on messenger yet had no reply. This is shocking service for an order totalling £75. We will be taking this further.
