Bought a garage shelving unit
Bought a garage shelving unit. When it arrived one of the pieces was crooked. I rang customer services and they sent a replacement very quickly.
When I was putting the shelving unit together, I damaged one of the side beams. I rang customer services again and they happily sent another spare part again free of charge.
Great customer service, very happy with my order.

Health & Safety accident waiting to happen
Bought again from Racking Solutions following a previous good experience, however was really disappointed when they sent out garage racking with a lower shelf weight bearing maximum than I'd ordered, and never let me know! Not only had I paid for more expensive racking, if I'd not spotted the small detail on the boxes, this is potentially a health & safety risk, not acceptable at all, and no doubt in breach of legislation. To top it all, they'd also forgot to include the rubber mallet I'd ordered. Fortunately I was given a partial refund, but I couldn't trust them again, despite helpful customer service. Their warehouse team/pickers need some H&S training ASAP.

Hi Darren,
Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry that your order did not meet your expectations.
As discussed at the time, when you contacted us we offered to collect the products and provide a full refund, you chose to keep the shelving. We processed the agreed partial refund together with a refund for the missing rubber mallet.
We'd also like to clarify your comments regarding health and safety. While we completely understand your concern after receiving a different specification to the one you expected, we do not agree that the products supplied presented a health and safety risk. The shelving supplied is a fully tested and certified product when used within its stated load limits, which are clearly marked on both the packaging and the product information.
That said, we do accept that you should have received exactly what you ordered, we recognise that better communication would have avoided this situation. We've taken your comments on board and have reviewed our internal processes to help prevent similar issues in the future.
Kind regards,
Racking Solutions
Heavy duty racking 👍
From ordering to delivery was only three days, it came undamaged, box untorn, by a helpful chap who unloaded it his self, my wife was on her own so couldn't help, having assembled it, it is good quality with decent paint but probably rub off with use, I ordered an 8ft but assembly was easy, even tho instructions say requires two people it is easy enough on your own I already had a plastic mallet which I use to tap corners together so that's something to consider, all in all a very good product and experience

We're very sorry for the frustration and inconvenience this delay caused.
Our customer service team was actively working with the courier throughout this process to help get your order delivered. We were monitoring the tracking closely, but unfortunately the courier's portal was showing us the same updates that you were receiving, which meant we had no additional information to pass on at the time.
We also escalated the issue directly with the courier from our side to ensure it was investigated and resolved as quickly as possible. We can now see that your order has been delivered in full, and we've also processed a refund as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience you experienced.
We sincerely apologise for your experience and appreciate your patience while we worked to resolve this with the courier. Regards Racking Solutions.
