Perfect. Accurate.

Hi Iam using race chip in Hyundai I30 2020 .That base version . I did it 3000km .So for now Iam a satisfied .It really increased the power , fuel consumption went down -10% , offcourse If you will be enjoying the power consumption will goes up cause need to feed the horsepowers :) Simple .. I have seen bad review and I think that is suitable only for stock cars not like that you have mix of tunes and and after that you will be complaining about this .Greetins from Slovakia

I am very pleased with this chip. After I mounted it, the car feels different and most importantly for me decreased consumption by about 1.5 liters. The first model bought ( RS version ) I gave it to a coworker and I ordered the GTS version. He was very excited when he first drove my car with the chip installed and told me he wanted one too. That's how I ordered the second chip. Thank you Race Chip

Good information about the product. Very easy instal on my 2014 vw tiguan. Quick to send.

I Was forced to file a complaint with the gendarmerie for fraud following my purchase.
The box is incompatible with my engine.
All tests and instructions were followed.
After 2 cases changed, I asked for a refund.
They sent me back a third.
I had someone from customer service explain to me that they didn't care about my problem, that I didn't have to return them and that I could go and file a complaint.
TO FIRE, THEY ARE SCAMS !!
And following this review, know that RACECHIP will contact Trustpilot to let them know that I am not a customer so that my review is not published.
Unfortunately for them, I kept all the credentials and Trustpilot and a completely neutral and objective site.
I hope you don’t make the same mistake I did.

Update November 3 2021: Since posting on TrustPilot, Racechip service team have since reached out to me and apologized for their misunderstanding, they seem to be genuinely interested in rectifying the situation, and have said they will do the reprograming for zero cost, in line with what was included in my initial purchase.

I have paid for shipping of the cable harness for my new vehicle (waiting for delivery) and they have emailed me instructions on how to re-flash my Racechip OTA so the SW is correct - so things are getting back on track!

In this update I changed my rating from one to two stars - once I receive the cable and the racechip is installed and working in my new car, I will revisit Trustpilot and update the review with a new rating.

I believe the support team are now genuinely trying to correct the situation, however it is disappointing that support only came after I wrote a passionate review on trust pilot. Regardless, hoping it is smooth sailing from here! I will update the review on TrustPilot again once the Racechip is up and running in my new car.

Original Situation prior to posting on Trustpilot (October 2021):

I purchased the race chip GTS + App on sale approximately 12 /15 months ago.

Included in the purchase of this product is a free re-program of the race chip, if I were to change vehicles in the first two years.

I have changed vehicles, and contacted them for a re-program and they are trying to charge me €145 for a reprogram, referring me to section 10 of their terms and conditions.

In section 10 of their Terms and conditions (below) it directly refers to product price (Not purchase price) and the product price of the GTS + APP is identical for the vehicle I purchased it for originally, and the new vehicle I would like it reprogrammed for.

Basically the support member I had been dealing was trying to penalize me for purchasing a product that was on promotion from them.

(For reference, their T&C and information on free reprogramming on their website is below)

10.5 If the product price for the car for which the purchased product is to be reprogrammed is higher than for the car for which the product was previously configured, a charge will be incurred which is equivalent to the difference in price and is additional to the charge for the reprogramming itself.

We offer this option up to 24 months after purchasing our RaceChip GTS and GTS Black. With RaceChip GTS or GTS Black the first reprogramming is included as a part of the purchase package and so is free of charge.(1)

For a reprogramming, the hardware must still be in a fully functioning condition.

Delivery costs will be invoiced on a case by case basis.

(1) If the price of the product for your new car is higher than for the car for which it was previously configured, an additional charge equivalent to the price difference will be incurred (even if the re-programming itself is free of charge). There is no doubt having installed both the Race Chip and Race Chip XLR in my 2014 Toyota Prado that the new level of responsiveness in acceleration off the line, kick down on the highway and a far more enjoyable drive, including the same or better fuel economy says that I made the right decision in purchasing GTS Race Chip and XLR.

Excellent product. Does what it is expected. The costumer support is also excellent, as usual.

Its ok, but I expected a bit more sensation for 48 hp, but until 100 km/h it feels the diference.

My car is better different, and more faster

Very short delivery time after shopping. Quite easy installation, altough assembly manual had the B-section in twice and the C section was missing. But after all I'm happy as the increased acceleration is worth the money.

Jeg valgte model med app. Tidsforsinkelse for kold motor virker supergodt. Man kan virkelig mærke når chipen er aktiv.

I bought Racechip RS to my Octavia 1.5 tsi 150 hp. The promised easy installation was far from what was promised. One connector (turbo boost senor) is located in so difficult position that it is almost totally unreachable. My university aged skinny daughter finally succeeded in that with her long fingers. Without her I would have had to return the item back to the seller.
What about the impact? My car did improve its performance. It can be felt by accelerating from standby as well as on the run. Racing one Mercedes E-series from traffic lights was a delightful success.

Box turned out not to match the model of my car as it was a 2021 car. Returned box and had my refund in a few days no hassle. Will order again

This is my second unit for a Jeep Grand Cherokee and is very impressive . The difference is clearly measurable and significant. Very pleased with purchase and looking forward to long term enjoyment.
