Honestly i should have known by how long this crap took to come that should have been the first warning.
But this wheelchair is a death trap front small.wheels get caught on everything so much so it tips the wheelchair forward its not fit for purpose parts take extremely long to come and it brakes and needs new wheels like every 8 months not good dont buy or agree to this chair parts are shipped from abroad take months to come
Oh and the little wheels that took 3 months to come that have only been on the chair now for 5 months just broke going up a dipped curb

This brand quicke 700 is most bad and disappointment compare to other brands it has sharp edges course cuts and bruises and the parts relay and sensors batteries are not lasting even one year’ one and two of my veteran friends has different brand which does have same features and their chairs does not have sharp edges and reliable parts that even elevates the chair to higher position for transferees to bed and toilet seats and recliner up and back ‘ I was very disappointed

I can’t believe how much I wasted on a wheelchair thinking because it was carbon fibre and it was a lot of money. It would be worth buying. I paid for a five year warranty two extra batteries and I’ve only used the item once is the battery keeps falling out every time I put the battery in when you go up and down the curb, you can’t use it in the rain otherwise avoids the warranty And it gets scratched really easy. I thought it would have more durability and wear and tear. I’ve only had it six weeks and I wish I’d never purchased it for 3 1/2 thousand pound I think it’s a ridiculous price for some of this not as good. I have now learned my lesson as a first-time wheelchair user. I didn’t realise that the shops rip you off they don’t exactly help you when you have mobility issues. They just tried to sell you the most expensive thing in the shop.!

These chairs are garbage worthless pieces of crap you're better off with a Quantum and they ain't much better

We purchased a Quickie Q50R in Feb 2022 to replace my previous wheelchair. I thought a fold up wheelchair would be easier for my husband to put in and out the car and was really sold by the fact that this had a fantastic battery life.
The company brought it out for me to try on the flat piece of pavement outside my house and although I didn't like it as much as my Pride Go Chair it seemed to do the job.
When the chair arrived we realised how heavy it really is and was ok for my husband to lift for the time being but was too heavy for anyone else to lift.
The worst part about it was is when I used it. If I was on a flat pavement it was fab but if there was any type of slant the chair would go with it, very often towards the road. Luckily I had one good foot I could put down to use as a brake but not ideal and very scary. It is ok with kerbs providing the wheels are facing the right way so sometimes may take 2 or 3 times to get them in the right direction.
We obviously contacted Quickie with our issues and they said that this is what happens with all lightweight chairs so we had to put up with it!!

We travel abroad 4 or 5 times a year and with the new airline rules this chair is no longer suitable to take on a plane! We looked around and ended up buying a cheap power chair just for holidays. Bizarrely enough it is far superior than the Quickie Q50R, it's not as pretty but if you aren't worried about that then maybe it's worth trying that first.

The Q50R does have a fantastic battery though ...
