Website lies regarding shipping times and duty
Ordered a Mother’s Day gift after Hair Tie Pro’s website stated delivery by Mother’s Day (my order said by May 8 specifically) Their site advertised 2-day shipping to Canada/US. A few days later, tracking updated to May 12 — after Mother’s Day.
EVEN WORSE, checkout stated duties were prepaid at checkout for Canada, yet I see on my tracking that I’m being charged an additional $67 in duty fees on a $109 ($42 of that being shipping fees) order.
I have attempted to contact customer service through their website chat and Instagram messages and email for 3-4 days with zero response. I have screenshots of the website advertising for delivery times, prepaid duty claim, tracking updates, and attempted contact.
Extremely disappointing first experience. I will not be paying an additional 67 for duty so what’s next? I should have bought this from a different seller on amazon. I feel like I’ve been scammed (all screenshots available)
