Really good service on the whole. Took a couple weeks to learn my go-to meals as I found a few were a bit disappointing, but once I knew what my favourite meals were I was really happy. Boxes always arrived on time and meal sizes are very decent. I’ll be back.

Great company, great food, great selection and great customer service! Delivery company is questionable though, your food may or may not turn up but customer service will definitely sort it for you!

Just had my first box delivered. Had the English breakfast! It was stunning . Low cal and high protein. Also I chose the one off box to taste their meals first before subscription. Excellent! Also packaged really well and food has long shelf life . Thank you

While the food is tasty, it’s mostly very salty or very sweet. The packaging is flimsy and 5 out of 18 meals delivered were opened so inedible. The company seems super untrustworthy, I’ve been trying to get hold of them via email using any email I can find on their website to no avail. Their orders email doesn’t exist at all and just gets a bounce back. Super dodgy imo. We’ve just paid for our 3rd week but still no cancellation button has popped up like their terms and conditions says it will. I honestly worry I’m going to have to fight them with my bank.

1st order was fine.
It got worse after that.

2 orders had 5 or more meals with broken seals. Initially, I thought the meals were great!
But it started lacking consistency, in taste and actual meals.

Furthermore, customer service is terrible, I did not appreciate the passive aggressive tone and the fact my emails were never read properly.

Finally, after the 3 week commitment they still kept trying my card and emailed me back saying "you need to complete the 3 weeks". Check your records, because I did. I even sent an email with it, it is displayed on my account and my bank doesn't lie.

Then because of the poor UI of this website, how is one supposed to understand they have opened 3 new subscriptions, as suggested by your compliance/customer service manager. When 3 orders were only done.

Nothing is clear on your site, it lacks flexibility to pay a missed "invoice" and i do not want to hear another word from your compliance/customer service manager, who can respond to TRY to prove a point, but couldn't respond when i said i wanted to be a long-term customer and work something out there (even a sorry, cannot do it) would have sufficed. But i am very lucky, they did not respond to that!

I can happily screen record, and show you how your site is not flexible to do simple things.

Cba for this company, started off good, then just got poor. Don't bother. Maybe have the 1st order and call it a day, but don't bother with the subscription.

I've reported them to Ombudsman already, soon will to trading standards and possibly their council for a reinspection on food hygiene since i had a HUGE amount of meals with broken seals in the last order.

Please don't bother responding to me and telling me to email support@.... You're a small company, look at the email exchanges, that you have access too...Your compliance manager is also customer service. - Not that hard for you to spot a problem.

I've run a business before, so don't patronise me with a response.

Giving 2 stars because the jerk mac and cheese was decent.

I ordered with prep gains for around 3 weeks, the first order came with damaged food which in fairness they replaced in the second order which was fine and then the 3rd order failed to ever arrive and me not receiving my money back after several requests for a refund.

Best quality meals and at the best price. Customer service top notch as well.

Great experience so far.

The food is higher quality than other Meal Prep companies I've tried before. I've had no issues with packaging/delivery. The prices are less than I'd have expected.

I'm happy and will keep buying!

I think they just need to put a Referral Scheme in place, so I can recommend more people!

Food tastes unbelievable, 10/10

I’m angry that I paid for fresh food and it arrived half frozen, leaving me with meals I can’t eat on time until they go off. You advertised fresh meals, not frozen, and this discrepancy is unacceptable. The advisory is: you can keep a defrosted meal in the fridge for up to 24 hours before cooking and eating; do not refreeze. I’m annoyed because I can’t eat these meals on time and I can’t freeze them back, which is a health-and-safety restriction. Who knows how long they have been frozen and when the food was actually cooked .

These meals look like they’ve been frozen since the ice age and are very likely dangerous to consume and in conclusion I could become very ill from eating these. on the website they claim 100% “fresh”,if I wanted frozen meals I would go to Iceland

As a shift worker these meals have saved me so much time.. I am currently training for powerlifting, a half marathon and a hyrox so the last thing I want to be doing around that is cooking so I can't recommend these meals enough.

Whenever I have queries the response time is next to none and everybody is so responsive to what I am asking so overall a great experience with this company.

Not a great experience. Michael didnt help at all and was very rude over the phone. Not the service I would expect from a customer service manager. No service provided. Also seems like they had a lot of negative reviews on Google My Business which they have since removed their profile to hide their negative reviews.

I’ve had a history of pancreatitis and I’m a type 3C diabetic. It’s sometimes really hard knowing what to eat because my sugars fluctuate but since using prep by gainz I feel I have more control of my sugar levels and diet not to mention the food is absolutely gorgeous, quality ingredients and it’s ready in just over three minutes in the microwave. A great company and I wish I could afford the subscription plans but funds don’t permit at the moment.

“ ordered bulk meals and repeatedly received wrong portions for my diartyneeds ro missing items, and damaged packages. This is only the highlights and It took 4–5 months from the initial wrong order to receive a partial refund (they never sent me the corret order still) and during that time I was accused of harassment and threatened with authorities because of rhe back and forth emailing which was clesrly on there part... This shows the company’s true colors: dismissive, unprofessional, and failing to fulfill orders properly, in breach of consumer rights. I am still left unsatisfied with a partial refund; which is why an LBA letter is being sent to the CEO, #Andrew Malcolm, because i need ro handle rhis lawfully. Hopefully the courts will compensate me and give me my money back for what I paid for.

I honestly can’t fault these meal preps. Every single meal tastes just as good as the last and it saves me so much time in my schedule. No shopping, no cooking, no cleaning, just great food whenever I want it. The convenience is unmatched and the quality is consistent every time.

I’m genuinely annoyed I didn’t find Prep By Gainz sooner because it makes life so much easier. Perfect for anyone who’s busy but still wants good, balanced meals. Highly recommend!

Started my fitness journey for the millionth time, but this time might actually be a revolution due to my dinners being prepared by Prep by Gainz. They are macro friendly, I was on a body building programme before and my meals were bland small and boring, it felt like punishment, I’ve matched the exact same macros from that diet to 3 prep by gainz dinners and now I’m nourished not punished.

Seriously winning with this. Great stuff.

Honestly prepbygainz has made things so much easier for me now as I’m finally organised with the meals I’m having throughout week! I’m currently on a weekly subscription basis and everything has been so easy to set up, even when going on holiday they accommodated me and moved payment and delivery to work perfectly with my schedule which was a concern of mine at first as I didn’t think that would be possible.

And the bottom line is the meals are unreal, every single one I’ve ordered felt like I was eating out at a restaurant. If your struggling to get your protein in and you normally just grab something from shop when your busy this will completely change the game for you!

It is now two days after my Gainz meals order was supposed to be delivered by DPD local and nothing has

The DPD customer service bot suggested that I contact Gainz for resolution.

I wrote to Gainz about this and they offered to supply meals again next week to resolve the issue but then refunded me when this option was not suitable.

It is unfortunate to have found myself in this situation but once bitten twice shy.

To be clear the meals were tasty and filling when ordered once before but I need the delivery to happen for the service to work on my end.

It is only my second order and things have not gone smoothly at all.

Now scrambling to make enough food to cover the short lunch breaks and my need for healthy food to fuel my training programme.
