Inedible (hard) pieces in my repin ragu slop. Claims 50g (nice round number there…) protein from a 575g meal with “20% chicken” (which is mince) and no notable other protein sources. Basics maths shows this is about 30% off. No evidence for their macro claims at all. Was purchased via prepped pots as a “premium meal” for extra £. Their standard recipes are not bad - much better than this tripe. AVOID. I will say though that their packaging is cardboard and PET so fine for recycling.
Edit: have provided information as requested as looks like they want this (honest) review removed. Still have packaging as evidence and all receipts. Not sure what I’ve been eating if you're not shipping… Have tried multiple recipes (about 4). They should try standing behind their product rather than trying to suppress reviews. They requested my phone number - Plese don’t contact me giving me and offer or anything - I wouldn’t eat this stuff if you paid me.

Let’s set the record straight.
First – your maths is simply wrong. The meal is 575g. At 8.7g of protein per 100g, that equals 50g of protein per meal. This isn’t a guess or “marketing spin” it’s the result of lab-tested analysis. You claiming we’re “30% off” is just bad arithmetic, not fact.
Second – you’ve focused on “20% chicken” as if that’s the only protein source. That shows a lack of understanding. Protein comes from the whole recipe: chicken mince, chicken stock, chicken extract, gelatine (which stabilises sauces and contributes protein), oats, cheese, and even vegetables in smaller amounts. You don’t add up macros based on one ingredient line. That’s not how nutrition works.
Third – mocking “a nice round number” of 50g is ironic, because it’s the verified number from an accredited lab. We hold certificates of analysis, do you have anything more reliable than your “basic maths” on the back of a napkin?
Fourth - calling a ragu “slop” because the texture wasn’t to your liking is subjective. But pretending that makes our nutritional claims false is misleading. A ragu is mince cooked into sauce, that’s literally what you ordered. Expecting something different is on you, not the recipe.
Here’s the difference between fair feedback and what you’ve done:
• Fair: “I didn’t enjoy the flavour or texture, not for me.”
• What you did: accuse a company of lying about nutrition, get the maths wrong, and write it up like you’re an authority.
We take constructive criticism seriously and welcome it, but there’s a line between honesty and misinformation. You’ve crossed that line.
And finally, refusing to even speak with us on the phone says a lot. That’s classic keyboard warrior behaviour: loud online, silent in person. Respectful dialogue could have cleared this up instantly.
And don’t worry, we wouldn’t call you and offer you anything, even if you paid us.
