Powerplay Casino – Predatory Auto-Applied Bonus Scam. Stay Away.
On July 27 2025 I deposited CAD 20 of my own money and won CAD 2,661.30. Minutes later the casino removed my winnings,without me even requesting a withdrawal, claiming I had accepted a 35x wagering bonus with a 10x maximum withdrawal cap.
I never opted in. No pop-up, no confirmation, no bonus entry in my wallet or history.
Powerplay staff openly admitted bonuses are automatically applied without consent:

Manager Nick confirmed it and offered CAD 100 “compensation.”
Agent Amorette stated: “Bonuses are automatically applied to all deposits. You should have known.”

Crucially, my wagering was completed one minute after my win. If the win had come one minute later, they would have had no grounds to confiscate it. Instead, they used the hidden auto-applied bonus to steal my legitimate winnings.
No proof of consent was ever provided — no opt-in logs, timestamps, or wallet entries.
I escalated to their listed arbitrator, Casino Meister. Turns out Powerplay is an affiliate on their site (clear conflict of interest). Max ruled against me based on a single out-of-context chat line that he himself admitted was “not good proof, but at least it was something.” He ignored Powerplay’s own staff admissions and the complete lack of backend evidence.
This is a systematic scam: auto-apply hidden bonuses, then confiscate legitimate winnings under impossible terms. Curacao licensing offers zero protection.
Warning: Powerplay looks fine until you win. Then they steal and stonewall.

worst site ever for bonus buys thats all i have to say...they do withdrawals within a day which is the only thing that is a positive about this site...very limited games with brutal odds...good luck folks

The supports aren't very helpful. It seems as though they work against you rather than with you when it comes to contacting them gor help. N for vip players, we sure aren't treated like vip players. Tried to cash out. They put me through a frustrating list of documents to upload. Including selfies which I thought was unnecessary.
I never did get my cash out and walked away down over $2000 before I was blocked by the chat agent.
