Guys ( Graeme, Paul & Will) arrived exactly on time to fit carpets in our lounge, hall & cloakroom, on a boiling hot day today let me add.
The team had a lot of experience and were very friendly and professional, great at explaining what and why they did the job.
We are very pleased with our new carpets!

Mary Patel was so very very helpful and spent a lot of time with my husband and I.
She was also incredibly knowledgeable as was Bilal and Jonathan; both of whom have also provided superb service.

Excellent service.

Carpet fitters were on time and listened to our needs before starting the job. Work was done to a great standard and clean up afterwards was meticulous. Very pleased with the new carpet fit to our stairs, landing and bedroom.

Ponsfords is a wonderful shop and the whole experience of browsing and buying from them is always a lovely experience. We've bought most of our furniture there over the past twenty years and wouldn't go anywhere else. A special mention for Gavin, who helped us buy our first sofas many years ago and has been so kind and helpful during the year it's taken to choose our new living room furniture. He is a total professional with a wealth of information who goes above and beyond to help and is a credit to the company. Gavin, thank you so much for being so patient in putting up with our numerous visits and helping us make the final choice, it is very much appreciated.

Ponsfords you’ve done it again!! Your service is to the same standard as your products. We have a large leather corner unit with two electric recliners at each side. One recliner stopped working and we couldn’t put it down. Ponsfords to the rescue!! After only one phone call the service engineer came and had it working again within an hour of his arrival. Catherine in service repairs and Liam the engineer are a credit to the store. Always a pleasure doing business with Ponsfords.

Pondsfords continue to be a top place to shop for furniture in Sheffield. Staff were all very helpful, Della gave us some great options for corner sofas one of which we went with.

We ordered a stair carpet the sales assistant Clive was extremely knowledgeable and helpful you are spoilt for choice so his guidance short circuited things.
The fitters Graeme and Will were brilliant really professional and extremely careful to get a runner as straight as possible in an old wonky house!
Would definitely recommend.

Graeme and Will did an amazing job fitting our staircase and landing carpets. A rather complex and technical job with lots of precision they took great care to ensure an excellent result. Very pleased!

We ordered a sofa in-store after months of searching for “the one!” Gavin was very helpful, knowledgeable with an easy manner that made us feel really comfortable. He spent time showing us various options after finding out what we wanted. We are delighted with our choice and are now eagerly awaiting its arrival😊 Many thanks.

The carpet fitters Will and Graeme were extremely professional and did a fantastic job on what was a complicated open plan room and staircase. They were friendly and listened to what we required. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Graeme and Will have fitted our stair runner perfectly. It wasn’t easy but the final finish is excellent. This was an expert very professional service.

As a customer I have never ever been spoken to the way I was by one of the sales team at Ponsford. His attitude was appalling. His snobbery was unbelievable! He told me he had 20 years of experience and accused me of chasing and chasing an order for a sofa we ordered at the end of October 2024 and were still waiting for at the end of February 2025! He had no concept of logistics and didn’t seem to understand I needed a date to work to, to enable me to rid of my existing sofas. After a couple of baffling and bumbling left messages on my voice mail we eventually spoke for him to tell me, the chair had arrived but he didn’t know which lorry the sofa would arrive on. He couldn’t give a date as ‘didn’t I know that lorry’s have taco-graphs and drivers need to sleep’! 🤷‍♀️.

Disgusting service ! He left me feeling so belittled I put the phone down on him !

When sofa eventually came the wrong cushions arrived with the chair. Totally non matching with the sofa and NOT what I ordered. It took another 6 weeks before the cushion covers were eventually dispatched. It was as though no one cared. !

I would never recommend anyone to use them - Look elsewhere!
