I contacted Ponsfords customer service yesterday with a query regarding a sofa purchased 14 years ago. I needed a spare part but was unable to locate the manufacturer via the web so turned to Ponsfords to see if they might help.
This morning I had a call from Catherine who was extremely helpful. She too had looked for the contact details of the manufacturer but they were not responding leading to the conclusion they were no longer trading! However, she was able to offer suggestions as to where the replacement part might be sourced, which I am currently pursuing.

Top notch service by Graeme and Will today. Beautiful carpet and an excellent fitting service with a smile. Even offered to move our furniture back for us. Would definitely use again!

Graeme and William were absolutely amazing. They fitted a carpet in my living room and couldn’t have been anymore helpful and professional. The fitting was perfect and they went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with it all.

Ponsford’s have never let us down. We have been shopping at Ponsford’s since first married, (now 50yrs on). They are still as competent, professional and efficient. Carpet fitters Graeme & William, were as I now expect from Ponsford’s, excellent.
Their care and attention to detail is first class, nothing was too much trouble when unexpected issues came up. They treat your home with respect.
From first dealing with the carpet department, Karl was knowledgeable, informative and did not push the “hard sale” so much so we ended up having three bedroom carpets fitted instead of the original just one. Excellent service from beginning to end.
Plus an added bonus, their after service is first class. If a problem does occur, you know they will still be there in years to come and it will get sorted. A truly “SHEFFIELD family business”.

Had our lounge carpet fitted yesterday by Paul and Will. They did a fantastic job. Extremely happy with the carpet and the professional service they both provided.

From choosing the sofas through to delivery, the process was seamless. The team were polite & exceptionally efficient. I’d particularly like to thank the 2 gentlemen who made the delivery. Even though they had to carry a couple of very heavy & cumbersome old sofas down a flight of stairs & around some tight bends, & then do the reverse with the new ones, they did it professionally & with great skill & good humour.
An excellent experience all round.

They gave us time to browse without any pressure and then when we said we would like some more information Mary was very helpful. She gave us some more time to consider our options and then helped us to order the configuration we wanted.
Mary also gave us information on how we could save money as we may purchase another item shortly.

I cannot speak highly enough about the service we received from the sales lady Hak when we came to look for a new chair and settee.
She was so knowledgeable, has an eye for your colour scheme and was most patient as I was backwards and forwards with my criteria.
She goes over and above, she has impressed me that much I won’t be going anywhere else for other pieces of furniture and carpets.
Just good old fashioned service, she made it a pleasure.

Wonderful company great customer service. Paul and Will were very friendly professional and efficient carpet fitters. They did a great job. Another very satisfied customer.

We are very impressed with the service given by staff on every visit to Ponsfords. However, on our most recent visit Karl and Andrew excelled themselves in giving brilliant advice to ensure we got a beautiful jacaranda rug at a great price which matches our room perfectly and we would never have considered ourselves. Bilal was also excellent, processing our order for paintings and a bar stool quickly and efficiently even though it was 10 minutes before closing. Thank you all. We will undoubtedly be returning in the near future.

Arrived as promised first call, efficient, friendly, excellent preparation work before laying the carpet. Worked well, tidied up as they went , couldn't say enough great things about them. Most definitely would recommend.

I bought a Streelee Fiona sofa July 24 .
By April 25it had compresses was uncomfortable and material very loose .
Ponsfords saw no faults
In June I returned with more photos showing deterioration,

Was told by Suraj director and customer services ALL STRESSLESS furniture does this it is expected .
I argued I wasn’t told this a point of sale had a witness to this .
After e mailing Stressless themselves for the product information etc Customer services told me I had to deal with them but would not ask the question to Stressless .
I would never had purchased the sofa if given this inf at point of sale .
Ponsfords have now CLOSED my case and told me to go through ombudsman
The customer service manager was extremely aggressive .
I am left in limbo having gone to a 5*company 3years previous and had brilliant service for a Stressless chair .
