I've been a member of PPA for about 6 weeks now. Originally signed up to the Silver membership and then Gold once I got a pole for home.

PPA is one of the best pole subscriptions around. I will go through each part so you can read just how great it is.

1) The Ease / Communication
Firstly you can use app on your laptop or your phone and both work tremendously. It is easy to navigate and if you should run into any issues (rare I have to say) then a quick WhatsApp message to the team gets everything sorted. I literally hear back within less than 24hrs.

2) How to Master a trick
Whether you have a pole or not, there is a video on how to master a move. As I'm on the gold package I'm currently learning how to Master the Chopper.
It's broken down into sessions that last 6-8 weeks long and before you say 'gosh that's long', training your muscles can take that long and I appreciate the fact PPA makes you aware that if you want to train to do a move, it's not overnight but by learning, building up the strength and technique over time will you get there.

Kelly has videos to accompany these sessions and breaks down each part beautifully making it easy to follow, understand and achieve.

2) Coaching Feedback
This has to be the main USP for this subscription. You get a personalised coaching video every month.
I always use my coaching feedback time. I send a video of me attempting a move I'm struggling with and Kelly will send back a very detailed video back of what I need to do. This is not a recording sent to anyone else, it's personalised to me. I can tell Kelly has watched my video and took notes on the parts I'm struggling with.
The great thing is, the coaching feedback works and you will progress further with your goals by having this valuable feedback.

3) Live Sessions
There is live sessions / classes you can attend or watch if you are unable to join. Yet to join a live class but I have followed the recordings.

4) Pole Tricks A-Z
There is a library of pole tricks (I'm talking over 100+ moves) from beginner through to advance with videos and how to achieve the move or a move you may need to learn before progressing to your desired move.
Honestly, it's the best I've seen. Kelly again breaks down the move and goes through what muscles you need to engage or where to stand, place legs, arms, body etc to achieve a certain move.

4) Accountability
This is a really nice little incentive to gain points for actual products.
You create a 12 weeks plan and receive points for every week completed. You can redeem these points for Pole Moves books, apparel and much more.
By having a plan, you are much more likely to stick to it. For me, I want to learn to get my legs up and behind the pole (The Chopper). This move can take a while to achieve (especially if you're like me with no fitness background) and having that accountability means I stick to it every week without fail.

5) Pole Books, cards and much more
Appreciate a subscription is not for everyone but at PPA they have created Pole Trick books and cards for every level.
Before purchasing the subscription I bought the beginner book for me and my step daughter to use. We love it ! We pick a move and go for it ! These work great when you are unsure what you want to do on the pole for that day.
Cards are even better for this as you can pick cards at random and go for it !

There is also Pole Diaries for you to keep check of your progress.

6) Community
Lastly but certainly not least, there is a great community over on Facebook. You can request to join after signing up and let me tell you, EVERYONE is very supportive. I was very tentative about sharing my journey but everyone is very supportive and even share best practices. There is no pressure to post but it's great to see everyone else's progression.

To summarise, I've been doing pole for 11 months and PPA has helped my progression massively. It's worth every penny and I cant recommend it highly enough. I've gone from struggling with certain moves to suddenly having the ability and confidence to conquer these moves.

It doesn't matter if you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced - you will gain so much by having this subscription under your belt.

Kelly and the team at PPA really do care and want to see people progress using this service and that makes it even more investable.

I've been using PPA for several years now - from Beginner through to Advanced and becoming an instructor. Kelly is very interested in your progress and you also have opportunities to either attend live classes or get 1:1 coaching feedback in addition to the 100's of pre-recorded classes all set out for you in a clear way so you're never stuck on what to do next. Her books are also really well through out and so helpful.

I bought the beginner and high beginner books. They’re exactly what I was looking for as an intro to pole instructor who often needs ideas of new skills to teach or alternative ways to explain a skill. The book has everything from grip types, skills, and combos. Plus, the explanation section is annotated with text, arrows, and instructions on how to dismount from complicated moves. I think it’s a great addition to a pole studio looking to build/standardize their programming, language around skills, and customizing their class levels.
Added positive thing: The book is very affirmative and feels like a journal, which might make it appeal to solo learners as well.

Purchased a pole tricks book as a surprise gift, firstly the communication between the team and myself was lovely and personal, even offering to exchange if I had got the wrong level, the book itself is great quality, very well laid out and I'm sure will be a great help with progress

The pole trick cards (advanced level) are super challenging and they’re helping me grow!

Easy to follow, I like that it starts with the very basic stuff that always gets skipped in class. I’m very satisfied!

I recently purchased the bundle of 5 pole tricks cards and then received a lovely WhatsApp message. The lady then went on to send me the pole tricks book for free as a lovely gesture, after I had told her about my husband passing early this year🥺 since then I have started to use these to learn at home alongside going to a studio and they are wonderful 💜

After two years of unsuccessful attempts, I’ve finally found the perfect course! I tried several in-person classes, but they were too fast-paced for my age (56) and my abilities. The result was frustration, insecurity, and several injuries.
I also tried an online course, but it offered dozens and dozens of tutorials and workouts without any logical progression. Then I discovered Kelly, and a whole new world opened up for me.
The UPP program is simply perfect: well-designed, logical, effective, clear, motivating, and fun. The books are an extremely useful bonus. Everything makes sense, and I can work at my own pace and according to my abilities. Everything is perfectly explained, including possible mistakes and if that’s not enough, I can always request individual feedback!
I’m no longer afraid of getting injured due to lack of strength, flexibility, or technique, because everything progresses gradually from week to week according to a precise plan. I feel safe, well-guided, and above all confident that I will finally be able to learn this wonderful sport! Thanks Kelly and Leanne!!

Pole Power Academy is amazing! It holds me to account and has some really good videos that are explained perfectly.

Support is like nothing I've ever experienced - can always get an answer via all different avenues thry use!

Added bonus they don't bombard you to buy more or push for extra, even emails have options to opt in or out of for different ongoing sales/updates!

I've only been with Pole Power Academy for a little over a month. I don't have a pole at home, so I bought the very reasonably priced Silver Membership to train off the pole at home. I think it's absolutely brilliant! I really enjoy Kelly's teaching and videos. The range of training targeted at specific skills and tricks and to engage the right muscles in a safe and optimal way is astonishing! It's a very well thought-out programme. I started with the Handstand Challenge and have already seen progress while only into Lesson 2. You will need to buy some equipment, such as yoga blocks, kettlebells, etc. I'm looking forward to exploring the programme further and what it has to offer. Also the response is very good: whenever I have a question, I get a speedy and friendly response very quickly.

I absolutely love Pole Power Academy. I have been with this program for 3 years now. I love being able to do classes on my schedule not based on an instructors schedule. The ability to rewatch the videos as much as needed before attempting is beneficial..in person classes yes you can keep asking but you know eventually they get tired of repeating the same move dozens of times. If I feel like I need to repeat a lesson instead of moving on to the next I can…there is no doing that with in person. I did purchase the lifetime access during a Black Friday special..so if I have to skip a week due to sick, injury or travel…I am good with it. I can make up my missed classes as I see fit or just not worry about it. In person you just miss out on that class. I have more than just pole lessons, strength/conditioning lessons, flexibility lessons, pole flows…this program has it all. Plus the Facebook community is super supportive.

I never would’ve thought I’d join an online academy,let alone enjoy it and become so committed.
I had the blessing previously of following someone who shares her progress online from PPA
I was so impressed at what could be achieved with consistency and commitment I applied to do the short free course which offered me so much, including specific direction of my individual needs that when it ended I just had to join up.
I now have a plan for conditioning,flexibility & structured pole lessons which I do along side my studio sessions.
I also receive detailed guided feedback twice a month from PPA and have a very supportive and friendly community group🌷

I’ve found my wings again after 2 years out of the air with PPA! My core strength has returned for Pole and I’ve been able to find a new set of wings by learning hoop entirely at home. The lessons are structured, moves broken down, and the ability to communicate directly with Kelly for feedback is a game changer! The PPA Community truly does encourage each other and is a way to hold yourself accountable. Looking forward to continuing my Pole and Hoop journeys with PPA!

PPA is great for online pole learners. The structure of training is great for people who want to start the pole journey or the ones who want to strengthen the foundations. I joined PPA few months ago and honestly this has been the best decision. I get to work on the things that I am not able to cover in classes or work on the conditioning, flexibility, you name it. And the team is great. They make sure to reach out to you and help you through anything you need for your pole journey.

I ordered the Pole Tricks Intermediate Book and the conditioning book, and I absolutely love it! I wanted something easy to follow as I often struggled to decide which moves I should practice ever since I got my pole at home. This book has been a lifesaver! It’s got a clear lesson plan, easy instructions and great photos for guide too! I can’t WAIT to start using this. Absolutely love this team of polers! There's so much support from Kelly and her team. I was in the local studio for a couple of years before it closed down and missed having classes. I came across Pole Power online and was skeptical at first. I was so nervous not having a spotter on harder tricks. But I gave the online training a try and fell in love with the lessons. Kelly and her team help you through the moves with step by step instructions on movements to get into each pose. You condition, you play, and you become the best pole version of you. Plus the fb crew is very supportive. I highly recommend for anyone who has a pole!!

Pole Power Academy is the most sensational home learning program for pole. I have been a member for about 5 years and I highly recommend it to anyone. Whether you are wanting to pick and choose your lessons/levels or follow on a program dedicated to success from the very beginning or you are wanting to build strength and flexibility Pole Power Academy has you covered. The price is also very affordable especially when you can access your membership whenever you want, and as many times you want...there is no limit. Also the community is amazing, you are not going it alone, you have Kelly, Team PPA and all the wonderful members cheering you on and encouraging you. I feel more connected with my fellow PPA polers who are scattered worldwide than I did when I attended my local studio.

A friend once said to me that she'd learnt more at home with PPA than in the studio . At the time i didn't think this was possible ?! .... But how wrong i was ! . . I have been a PPA member now for 3 years and i have learned , and am still learning , so much . I have also gained strength and confidence . . Kelly's detailed explanation of moves , and Coaching Feedback , is amazing . . Without PPA i don't think i would have achieved many of the moves i have . . To anyone just starting their pole journey , or wanting to develop on their current skills , i can't recommend PPA enough !

After following them on FB for a while whilst I was attending studio lessons I finally took the plunge in September 2025 and joined their Platinum membership to continue my pole training at home and it's the best move I made. Their classes, support, knowledge, commitment and skills are top class! They are highly committed to each and every member and are always on hand to advise should you need them.
I also purchased their beginners pole tricks book which explains every move in easy to follow steps and they are beautifully illustrated. I'll definitely be purchasing the next level books as I continue through my journey with the PPA team.
