We had overnight stay at their King's…
We had overnight stay at their King's Cross hotel as we had an early Eurostar departure.
Hotel perfectly located as about a 10 minute walk from station.
We were expecting a small room, but it was perfectly designed to be comfortable.
Breakfast was very good.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Point A Hotel Westminster… Amazing staff!
Stayed at Point A Hotel Westminster Bridge Road. The staff were so helpful and so friendly. The rooms were clean, fresh and perfect for what we needed. Elaine and her staff went above and beyond to help us with our visit, we could not recommend them more highly. Would definitely stay again, if we get the chance to visit London again. Well done to all involved - you made our visit so special. :)
Very basic and small
Very very basic and claustrophobic we found not even coffee in rom. Constant rumbling of underground which you have to get used to. A few hundred yards from paddington station but reasonably easy to find. Basic continental breakfast not cooked. There is better accommodation around.
Nope.- Done stay here
Service 5/10- Basic
Breakfast 4/10 Coffee tasted like crap but they do have alternative milks.
Sleep 6/10
Mattress 9/10
Lighting 8/10 amazing but the controls were hard to figure out.
Noise level 3/10 - alot of noise from floors above throughout the night.
Space of room 2/10.
Storage 4/10 - hooks were very large and unusable.
No tea or coffee appliances in rooms and you have to pay £2.50 in the bar..0/10
Bathroom 0/10- TINY!! Could barely get into the shower as the sink was in the way and I slipped in the shower. Temperature was good but pressure wasn't great.
TV -4/10 Basic, Chromecast would work with my phone.
Not worth it for the price, should have stayed at the premier inn, closer to the train station and you get a proper good night's sleep
We stayed at Point.a Paddington for two…
We stayed at Point.a Paddington for two nights as our daughter had a day case operation at st. Mary’s hospital. The welcome Sam and the reception staff gave with smiles on their faces was lovely they were very helpful hurrying to the doors to hold them open for our wheelchair bound daughter and offering help with our luggage. The accessible room was very clean with comfortable beds and a good wet room. As others have said could have done with tea/coffee facilities. The continental breakfast was extremely good quality and selection. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you.
The hotel was in Canary wharf.
The hotel was in Canary wharf.
The staff were wonderfully relaxed welcoming and professional. I'd like to especially praise Latifa (loverly girl) bright and sunny.
The ambiance of the reception/lounge was spot on with soft lighting and ambient music.. well done to the designers . Breakfast first class.
I will start with the positive
I will start with the positive. The room was clean, quiet and well maintained. The decor is simple and modern, which frankly I like. The beds were comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located close to many great tourist attractions, shopping, and good restaurants. Most of the reviews I read for this hotel are good but some had similar complaints to what I present below.
Now for my not-so-positive opinions. I think this hotel is overpriced. The room rates are what I would expect for a very nice hotel, certainly not as high as that charged at a luxury hotel, but high enough that one would expect better than average amenities, creature comforts and somewhat spacious rooms. The Point A hotels are sold to its customers as 'environmentally sustainable" and they surely are;. however I believe that advertising the hotel as environmentally sustainable is really just a brilliant marketing ploy to justify higher room rates while eliminating expected creature comforts and conveniences found at other equally priced hotels.
First of all, the rooms are small, very small, perhaps as much as 50 percent smaller than comparably priced hotel rooms. There was no desk in the room, no closet, no dresser, and the window did not open. The rooms are cleaned only once every 4 days; however, the front desk will have the bins emptied and will provide clean towels upon request. The hotel provides only one pillow per bed but they will provide more pillows if requested. There is no coffee, tea, tissue paper, hair conditioner, and skin lotion provided in the rooms. There is no free coffee and tea service in the lobby. You can buy a cup of coffee in the lobby for about $3. The coffee is served in a disposable paper cup. All of the electrical outlets in the rooms automatically shutoff if you leave the room or if there is no movement for a few minutes. This is an inconvenience for those needing to charge personal electronics, keep their medications cool during the day, or need to operate a CPAP machine during the night. We had to sit in the room for about an hour each morning to charge our phones before we went out adventuring.
In summary, Point A Hotels charge premium prices for very small simple rooms with limited amenities. In other words, the rooms and hotel are fine; just significantly overpriced for what you get.
Unpleasant hotel, trying to scam me a year later
I stayed with their King's cross hotel last year, it wasn't as advertised, it stank and was generally unpleasant. Over a year later they've forged another booking under my name and details and I'm being harassed by them. Please don't stay there.

Stay clear
Stay clear! Absolutely rotten staff! HOTEL MANAGER FATMIA! what an awful lady put my 17yr old out on the street! Even tho I could give consent and give a deposit still said no! Travelled over 100miles with her gf for a weekend away and these people ruined their trip! Don’t expect a warm English welcome
NOT A 3 STAR HOTEL
NOT A 3 STAR HOTEL! This hotel is being sold as something it is not. For a 3S hotel, tea making facilities should be in each room - or available in the common area in reception. Not only no kettle [do i really have to buy a travel kettle for London?] but to try and charge £2.50 for a cup in your own hotel is a rip off. It's £2.40 round the corner in Sainsbury's.
So no welcome cup of tea for this disabled traveller when I arrived. Then came the room. Disappointment is an understatement. The pics on this site are for the disabled room. That's why it looks so spacious. Next time I'll book that as I almost had a fall in the bathroom as the shower is too small. Actually, there won't be a next time.
The rooms are tiny. I mean really, sell this as a pod hotel. The shelves fold down from the wall. Think about that - 'fold down from the wall'. Never seen anything like it in my life and I'm an experienced hotel traveller.
Then there's the hanging space i.e. your room decorations. Don't try and put any more than two things on the buttons as they just fall off. Why the hotel gives dozens of hangers is a mystery to me. Mine ended up on the floor.
These are single person pods only. Two of you will be heading for couple's counselling after one night in this room. Bathroom is tiny. Two towels and a bathmat only.
For location - great. If this is your first time to London and you don't care where you lay your head, maybe this will work for you. Personally, even then I'd feel a sinking feeling every time I had to go back to it. Confinement is a better term for your stay.
Breakfast usually makes up for it but it is 'continental' i.e. an ok croissant, spam ham and hard cheese.
Final word. No.

Rooms: 1 [Actually 0.5 it was so small]

Hotel highlights: Quiet though I think I could hear the tears from others in adjacent rooms...
Checked in to Point A Kings Cross on 25…
Checked in to Point A Kings Cross on 25 Nov 2025 with a three night reservation - paid in full at the time of check in. Had to check out on 26 Nov 2025 due to a family situation. They refused to refund the two night difference. Be careful when using the shower in room 116, the mold in it might be harmful to your health.
HMO meets youth hostel
If you’ve ever wanted to experience the charming ambience of an overcrowded HMO fused with the carefree chaos of a youth hostel, this hotel is your dream come true. Paper-thin walls ensure you’re fully included in every guest’s late-night hobby: door-slamming, floor-stomping, and what I can only assume was competitive furniture dragging. Sleep? Don’t be ridiculous.
As for breakfast, for the bargain price of £13 you’ll be treated to a “continental buffet” that bravely redefines the word basic. Think limp pastries, sad cereal, and the distinct feeling you’ve been robbed before 9 a.m. Truly inspirational stuff.
In summary, if you’re looking for rest, comfort, or value for money, do yourself a kindness and stay literally anywhere else. Two stars, only because I can’t give zero without feeling petty — and trust me, this place has tested the limits of my bitterness.
Booked in A point hotel in Glasgow bath…
Booked in A point hotel in Glasgow bath street, what a hoval,i would let a dog stay there, £157 for that,£40 maxmium that is how bad it was, so never again
Do not stay here ever!!!
I checked out this morning to go to work, once at work I realised I had left rings in the bathroom! Called the hotel to say can you put them to one side I’ll come and collected them only to be told they aren’t there.
After reading another review it would seem this chain has some problems my rings have sentimental value. I asked for the contact details for management and have since been ignored!!!!
DO NOT BOOK THESE HOTELS
Item left behind - taken…?
Stayed the night in London on the 23rd of September and left an item behind accidentally. I checked out on the 24th and contacted them that evening to say that I can come fetch my item the following day during lunch… only to be told that it’s not there & that it’s gone. To which I responded that it can’t be gone - it can’t disappear. But got told that unfortunately it’s not there …? Very disappointed. It was basically a brand new item.
Stayed at Shoreditch and had a terrible experience
Stayed at Shoreditch on the 27th May. We were put on a floor where there were contractors working. It was noisy when we got there and then at 6:45am they were back and being very noisy! I complained and sent 2 messages, but heard nothing back!
Worse customer service of the year!
Customer service is non-existent, and they clearly lack basic common sense. I specifically asked for an invoice before checking in, and was told it would be provided at checkout. However, when I checked out, they told me to email them. Upon emailing, I was informed that they couldn't provide an invoice because I booked through a third party – a complete contradiction!
The rooms are also far from great – they're filthy and in poor condition. Avoid this place at all costs!
Point A Hotel in Londen was TOP!
Point A Hotel in Londen was tip, top in orde!
Heel tevreden over dit hotel, was netjes, ze waren heel vriendelijk.
Fabulous gem in the city centre.
I use the Point A in Glasgow anytime I am there for the theatre or a show, the rooms are always spotless and twice this year they went above and beyond and I would always recommend this hotel to friends.
