Great bed. Bad customer service.

Hello, I bought the bed and it was a amazing. What's about the pillows and the ancestors all my clients love it. Are The Times in half the chair? So I had to wait a year before I could order it. So I went and ordered it for my wife for her lash room. They didn't have her fabric align.But when they contacted them, they arranged it.So they could have the same fabric for the chair, they still had some left. Date next day after I ordered it. I got a email saying I get a $100 off my next order. So I contacted them to use the $100 off, and they wouldn't allow me to use it. And told me I could use it for something else, but I didn't need anything else. That's ahead, everything. Also, if I ordered online, I could have canceled and reordered it and used a coupon. But they wouldn't allow me to do a price adjustment, which I find was a little ridiculous, that the color just cancel it used to keep on code. It's a hundred dollars off.I tried many times to talk to somebody higher up in management.But I never got past the one person.. these days, unveilers is a lot of money.And I wish I could have talked to somebody higher up to get a price adjustment back when I bought those for my wife for a christmas present thank you Stephen

Upgraded Cloud Bed

Upgraded Cloud Bed
I just received my bed today after waiting about 2 months for it. I love the material and cushion especially the sizing of the bed. It fits well in my room and makes it spacious for me to work around it. I do think the cost is a bit pricey for what it is, the head rest doesn't have much comfort as I expected it to be like the rest of the layout. Otherwise, great bed so far.

Highly recommend this company and their products. As a new salon owner making this purchase the customer service was incredible. From the quick responses to feeling that they genuinely cared and wanted to help us out in getting our products on time etc. Our clients have raved about the beds from the look to how comfortable they are. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone I know in the market for salon furniture.

No response for material cracks

At first I loved my bed, I even made my sister and friend who are both lash techs purchase this bed. The material on the bed cracks and looks awful. I have reached out by instagram and they said it was my fault for using my cleaning products on it (products are the one recommended on their website) I then reached out again in December with photos and screenshots of their warranty saying the bed material is covered after so long which it was when I first reached out and I still have yet to get a response from them and we are now mid March. I wish they would of been able to resolve this issue with a replacement instead of not answering.

I love my Plush + Oak bed!

I love my Plush + Oak bed!! I have the Brynn bed and receive compliments on it daily from my clients! The overall look, along with the comfort. I also can’t say enough amazing things about the customer service. Will be purchasing some accessories soon!

Tall artists beware

While these beds are aesthetically pleasing, that is all they have to offer. They are not ergonomic, not for clients & especially not tall lash artists. I am 5’9 and have the tallest legs the company offers. I have used the bed for over one year now and my clients constantly complain of neck discomfort. I’ve tried to remedy this several ways and I even spoke with other artists who bought accessories and say that they still have the same problem. Regarding lash artist ergonomics, I have adjusted my stool and posture multiple ways however, having the stool on the lowest height furthers the poor body ergonomics. My entire body is suffering and work days are hellish. Personally, this bed was a waste of $2300 in addition to the $700 shipping. I wish I would have gone with an adjustable bed. This bed seems okay for short artists.

Disappointing

I was so excited to receive my new bed. I paid for the rush shipping which was a little over $300 extra , just so it would be here in time for my opening of my new studio. That was giving it an additional couple weeks for any delays.
I had ordered swatches (which say are free but you have to pay shipping so they aren’t really ‘free’” I picked the “nude” shade. They had an accessories sale so I purchased all my accessories in the “nude” shade. This bed is not cheap so I did have to save to purchase the bed but I wanted it so bad. So my husband helped me pay for some of the bed . When it finally arrived I was eager to set it up when I realized , the accessories that I previously ordered didn’t match the bed? I was panicking, thinking the company had sent me the wrong bed. So I was trying to email and call customer service . They weren’t answering. I messaged their Instagram where they said that they would call me. Then I received an email saying that there phones were down. When I was trying to call, it was just going to voicemail. I felt like I was being avoided. Then I got an email saying that that colour nude had been discontinued And they’ll send me new accessories to match the new colour of bed that I had received. I explained that I had ordered watches off their website and I didn’t like this new colour of nude and this isn’t what I ordered and wasn’t happy. Communication was slow and I was already very frustrated and worried since my opening was now coming up and was worried I wasn’t going to have a bed. I emailed back about how disappointed I was in the customer service and the lack of communication . Then I Received an email saying “ Oh, we found some of the old material we can make a new bed in the original colour” which seems weird? Why not just make it in that in the First place or at least put it somewhere on the website or anywhere on the Instagram bios or highlights to communicate that there may be a new shade and if you would like the old or the new one? I was also told this happened because I had another email address that I ordered from. Ether way maybe stating the nude colour changed would have been helpful. I could have added that I order the “original nude” to the order notes. Would have avoided this whole mess.
So I then had to wait an additional 4 weeks for the new bed to arrive . Missing my opening.
When I asked for a refund for the $300 rush delivery that I paid for for the original bed I was told I could receive store credit. Which has no use to me because I now own the bed and all the accessories so what am I supposed to do with that? I disagreed and asked for my money back. Then I was told I never actually paid for rush delivery and they sent me the receipt for the second bed they sent. So then I had to prove that I paid rush delivery and sent the receipt for the first bed which they finallly agreed to refund. They never did anything for me for all the run around and crap they put me through which was again disappointing .
I still have this old bed here , I have nowhere to store it and it’s in my way. They are supposed to be picking it up but have to reschedule pick up cause it wasn’t boxed up because I had opened it when I thought it was my original bed.
You would think that all the money you spend on such a pricey item they would treat you a little better and would have an overall better experience. I was left with nothing positive to say about their customer service.
Also found out after purchasing the accessories, including the stool, they discontinued the stool because it wasn’t the right fit for curvier body types.. which I am. So now I have a very expensive stool that is not comfortable.

We are sorry to hear this experience was lack-lustre for you and we understand.

When our fabric mill discontinued the initial nude colour, we bought reserve stock for our customers who had purchased beds over prior years incase they expanded and needed more beds in matching colours. For new customers who didn't have beds already, we had swapped over to the new nude.

When your bed order was placed, it was under a different email address and name than your previous accessories order so our system registered you as a new customer, so we sent the new nude bed. The orders under two different names/email addresses is where the confusion came from as your original order was under a completely different first and last name, so it was difficult to pull up your order history. We are sorry that this caused confusion on our end.

When you reached out stating the bed did not match your accessories, we immediately started production of a brand new replacement bed in the colour you wanted. We shipped the replacement bed and paid for shipping and the new bed for you, and took full responsibility in remedying this for you as we do stand by our customers satisfaction and will do everything to make things right.

We also scheduled and paid for white glove removal and delivery of the bed in the shade you did not want.

Phone is not the fastest way to reach us as stated on our website, as we are in and out of manufacturing meetings throughout the day. We respond quicker to email and live chat inquiries and were happy that we could switch over to that line of communication with you to resolve this issue.

We understand your experience was not smooth, and not what you would expect of Plush + Oak. It also was not to our standard either. But I hope we made it right for you by making you a brand new bed, shipping it to you, and paying for white glove removal for the most seamless solution possible.

Ultimately, although mistakes can happen in any business - I hope you know we did everything we could to make it right for you as fast as we could. Thank you <3

Buyer beware

Reviewing the Edda cloud bed. When when it first arrived I thought it was aesthetically beautiful, but that’s the only positive thing I will say about this bed. I’m a busy lash artist and client after client was complaining to me that the neck was very uncomfortable. For the lash artist to be comfortable the client needs to come really far back of the bed however that’s not comfortable for the client so my clients kept readjusting themselves forward which would tilt their head away from me the lash artist. It killed my back client after client way worst than the traditional massage bed I was using before. Most of my clients tend to fall asleep during their service but with this plush and oak bed my clients became very figity constantly moving their neck around. I ordered the head pillow and leg bolster as well as sending the company an email about my concerns with the bed. They told me they were rush order the items , which not only did they not rush order these items but they paused the order all together. I never asked them to do this as I wanted to try these items before I gave up on this very expensive bed. I didn’t have high hopes for these accessories based on others reviews saying the head pillow put their clients head at a more tilted angle than even the bed did. My husband and I felt like the bed could be defective because my clients heads were tilted away from me which is definitely the opposite of what you want as a lash artist . Sloan who was emailing us back and forth assured us it wasn’t defective but that my clients just needed to scoot back further. The problem with that solution is my clients were very uncomfortable coming back that far because it put them in a very uncomfortable position for their neck . Sloan said this bed is for the 99 percent and 1 percent might not like it . That’s simply not true , I have clients of all ages, heights, and weights. The verdict was out the majority of my clients hated this bed. It was not only uncomfortable for them but it was very uncomfortable for me the lash artist as well, my back and neck hurt more than ever before. Sloan offered to give us a full return but that I would have to pay for shipping. Sloan said it would cost around $1200 to ship it back. Well why would I have to not only pay for shipping twice but pay 3 times the shipping I already paid to get it to my house. That made literally zero sense. Sloan also said she would help me sell it in my local area as a potential option which she never did. In fact most of the time Sloan would ignore my emails and only respond back to the ones she felt like responding too. Plush and oaks customer service is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They should stand by their products but they do not, they just make excuses. Just know if you buy this bed you will not get your money back so you will be out $3000 dollars with a bed you can’t even use. Their response below is complete lies , do not believe it.

We felt the need to respond to this review with detailed truth about what happened with your experience because your review is not at all what happened and we are extremely committed to customer service and everyone loving their purchase.

The truth is that when you reached out to us, we recommended the pillow and bolster set to you to ensure your clients could be in the exact position you want them to be in, and we even offered to make these for you completely free of charge ($650 value). You refused this and said you did not want the accessories and that the bed was defective.

We did a deep dive on your bed from all angles against our stock photos showing the bed was not defective but your clients were sitting too deep into the curve which would be alleviated with the bolster pillow, but yet again you refused the free accessories and said you wanted to return the bed.

As a made to order manufacturer, we do not accept returns on custom items. However, I went above and beyond and got clearance from our ownership to purchase back the bed from you for the full amount paid if you wanted to send it back to us as, even though it was used, as we certainly did not want you to be stuck with a bed you did not love. You refused this as well.

I then offered to send accessories for free and help you sell it locally to recoup all of your costs and not incur return shipping charges - but you also refused this and stated you were going to keep the item and wanted a full refund. It goes without saying that this was not a solution for us to have made you an item as you ordered it, and have you keep it with a full refund. As a family owned business we always aim to ensure our customers are thrilled with their purchases, but no matter what we tried to suggest and offer, you refused it stating the only option for us was to let you keep the item for a full refund.

We are very sorry you did not love your purchase, and we know the accessory pillows would have addressed your specific client positioning preferences, but we do feel it’s very important for readers to know that we go above and beyond for our customers and all we want is for them to be 1000% thrilled. We very much wanted to work with you to find a solution that would suit you and presented a number of different options even outside of our normal policies, but to no avail. It is heartbreaking when all we want to do is help and make sure you are getting the full enjoyment out of your purchase, but we tried our best to accommodate your concerns, provide ample options for you, and were unable to find a satisfactory solution for you. We wish you nothing but the best.

my order had no tracking or shipping…

my order had no tracking or shipping number, i emailed 3 times and called never got an answer, got no call the day before delivery despite trying to figure out when my bed was coming…got a text the day of delivery when they were already at my address and I was not there…which is what I was afraid of the entire two weeks I could not track the shipment….absolute nightmare but bed is beautiful

Thank you for this review! We understand completely how this would have been frustrating, and it certainly should not have happened. We ship all shipments via LTL freight by delivery appointment only. The tracking codes are sent via email once they are dispatched, but they are a rough estimate.

Once beds are in your city, the freight team is instructed to call you directly and set up an appointment that is convenient for you. We pay extra for this as we want to ensure our customers have a smooth, easy delivery.

Your case was taken up with the freight company who apologized profusely, but we understand this doesn't change your experience. Please know this is not how shipments are supposed to go, and we completely understand your frustration.

The Cavaletti Vegan Leather in Bone

I originally reached out to Plush and Oak back in January 11th, 2024. I fell in love with their beautiful treatment beds and started messaging them to see what bed was right for me and my new studio. The team over at Plush and Oak were very responsive and quick to message me to help with any questions regarding the variety of beds that they offer and this conversation is on going. I am now looking to add accessories for my bed and am eager for their new chairs to launch.

In my experience, Plush and Oak have been amazing to work with and I am honestly enjoying their products and the beauty they bring into my new studio.

I purchased The Edda standard ink with…

I purchased The Edda standard ink with the bed cover back in 2022 after 6months of opening my small business as an aesthetician/lash tech. Not only was this my first large purchase/investment but it was by far one of my best purchases. I stood out with luxurious comfort and style. Not only do my clients leave better than they came but they enjoy each session/lash nap because of plush & oak, truly a staple in this industry. 100/10 thank you!

The best investment I’ve made for my clients comfort

The customer service from Plush and Oak was amazing. I was guided through the ordering and manufacturing process which gave me piece of mind. So simple to send my measurements which allowed my item to be customised to my personal working height. I was contacted throughout the process and kept in the loop. The delivery driver was so lovely and worked around me and my schedule.
Once delivered the company even checked in to make sure I was happy. The bed is the best investment I have made for myself and all my clients just love her. Thank you I would highly recommend.

luxurious, comfortable, worth it

I purchased the Edda Cloud bed for my lash business, and it was an absolute game changer. It elevated the look of my room. Most of my clients fall asleep almost instantaneously, and always rave about the bed. As a lash artist the comfort for myself and my clients is a top priority, and I’ve had no issues with either. I would recommend this bed to anyone wondering if it’s worth it!

This bed is incredibly uncomfortable…

This bed is incredibly uncomfortable for both lash artists and clients, and it's become a real problem. Unfortunately, I've lost clients because they simply can't endure the discomfort of lying on it. The pillow provides zero neck support and feels incredibly awkward. It seems like the bed's curvature doesn't suit anyone well, regardless of their height, but it's particularly challenging for shorter individuals. Despite using a bolster, my clients always end up sliding down, forcing me to constantly remind them to adjust. As a result, I find myself hunching over them just to see the lash line properly. The strain is taking a toll on my body, and I've had to cut back on my work hours to avoid burning out.

To make matters worse, the owner of the company is unsympathetic to anyone's concerns. It's disheartening to think that I've invested my hard-earned money into a company that doesn't prioritize comfort and satisfaction. Please do yourself a favor and purchase a lash recliner, or massage bed.

We have actually shipped you free accessories to ensure your satisfaction as we do take our customers experiences extremely seriously and will always do whatever we can to ensure they love their purchase. As with all furniture items, sometimes what works for 99% of people, wont work for the 1% and unfortunately it sounds like this is the case.

We are more than happy to assist you in finding a purchaser for your bed. In our experience, if a bed needs to be sold for whatever reason we can likely find a buyer for you within one week as our beds are in extreme demand and hold their full value even years after purchase. With the free accessory we have sent you, we are confident we can find someone to purchase it for the full amount you spent on it and ensure you can find something more suitable to your needs.

Pretty but not functional

The pillow was beautiful but just not functional for a lash artist. I’ve been lashing for over 3 years and was so excited to get this pillow but the shape and design is just not suitable for lashing as it keeps the clients head too far away and at an awkward position.

We are sorry to hear you didn't love the pillow. All accessories are returnable to us, and we have contacted you via email with the return address. Sometimes artists (when using the head pillow alone) can find that is tilts the clients heads forward, and to ensure the client is lifted up in both areas opposed to just one, we recommend pairing the Plush pillow with a bolster pillow to ensure their body is in the correct position and lifted equally on both the lower body and the head area to avoid the tilt.

The best investment in my lash business

I ordered my first ever plush and oak bed back in November, because it was custom made I knew the shipping would take some time, however they worked so fast and was able to ship it 2 weeks before my shipping date. When it arrived it had slight tear that was barely noticeable from the delivery company, when I reached out to Courtney, she gave me the best customer service. I could not be more grateful for the amazing team and the quality of the product. It’s seriously has my clients constantly thanking me for how comfortable the bed is. My only regret is why didn’t I order this sooner.
