Recently purchased some items through this company for the first time for my daughters upcoming hockey tournament. One item they sent was incorrect so I called hoping for a quick replacement to be sent in time. The customer service via phone was terrible. I am still awaiting an outcome to fix their mistake!!! I would never order through this company again...
Brought a Gilbert innovo for 300 dollars for an important rugby game. The ball is a defect, bulges on valve side ,rolls one side when you put it down and is a terrible kick. For 300 dollars that's not good at All

Terrible service, be aware! Purchased a rugby top with personalised printed name to offer to a 8 years old child who lives overseas! It was supposed to be a present representing Aotearoa/NZ @allblacks @adidas rugby top. On the first day my nephew used the T-Shirt, the letters of his printed name fell off. This was terribly embarrassing and humiliating for me and the child. I could see him crying when taking off his rugby top. Ordered a shirt from player sports and a month later we are yet to receive it. We have contacted them multiple times but keep being told it is the courier which is holding it up. Have requested a refund but they will not give us one.
I only wore the cleat for 2 hours playing frisbee on the grass on Sunday 15 March 2026. And after that the glue comes off. Playsports/Brittainwynyard claiming it’s not their quality issue. Anyone having the quality issues are entitled to make a complaint to Consumer Proection Govt NZ, and lodge a case to Dispute Tribunal NZ.
