Great food, very quick to put the meals together. I love the app has a cooking mode so my phone doesn’t go to sleep and I can make the food. One time I was missing some ingredients but they refunded my money quickly.

I've tried a number of other boxes on the market and these are by far the best. I'm not vegan or vegetarian and have always been underwhelmed with plant-based meals, however these are SO tasty! They are simple to cook and the sauces are super tasty - much better than just receiving a sachet of herbs you can get from the supermarket. I have been really impressed with the quality and quantity (they're quite large). Although there's not a huge variety of choice each week (which I prefer anyway), the meals so far haven't been repeated and none of them have been disappointing - they clearly make sure every meal is well thought out and tasty rather than having a huge list of options where quality could be sacrificed. I also love the fact that they use sustainable and regenerative farming, and packaging is kept to a minimum. I've tried the breakfast pots too and they're also excellent. I did have a small issue one week where the pots were missing and they sorted it out instantly. Very happy customer!

I was expecting to have the odd thing that didn’t work for us, but every meal so far has been a winner. Fresh ingredients, simple, easy to cook recipes, and best of all their amazing sauces that make the food taste as though it’s been simmering for a few hours rather than the twenty minutes it took to get it on the table. After years of meal planning, shopping and cooking for family it feels like a real treat to have all that done for you - on 3 days a week anyway!

My husband and I are both chefs, that means that we don’t like cooking at home.

We usually order lots of takeaway. But since we came across planthood, it’s been a phenomenal experience for us. We are now able to eat healthier and save more money. It only takes 15 minutes tops to get our food prepared which is exactly what we need.

We’ve been subscribing to Planthood for just over a month and will continue to do so.

Highly recommend to anyone who has busy lifestyles and would like to eat healthier.

I have been on Planthood for 1 month now and absoluetly love the meals. I cook for 2 adults on the 5 day plan. Meal size is great, ingredients are fresh and stay fresh, sauces to accompany the meals are so good and tasty! The receipe's are easy to follow and the whole process from start to finish is great! Highly recommended! Well done to everyone at Planthood, what you do is wonderful! 💚

Im a genuine buyer and, as a vegan it’s hard to find food perfectly balanced that tastes delicious! Welcome Planthood!!!!!! I have ordered on subscription which is easy to follow and can be paused or cancelled. I’ve eaten 15 different meals now and each has been very very tasty and filling! Some of the raw ingredients I thought I wouldn’t like BUT when they’re all put together, the flavours blend perfectly and taste delicious! Delivery has always been on time, perfectly packed with 2 ice packs to keep the ingredients fresh. The cooking instructions are very easy to follow, even telling you what pans and utensils to use BUT I think the recipe can be hard to find on the website without the QR code. Also, on past orders there is no individual pricing for each meal. There is another thing I’m not sure about - the meals are different every week so if I want to reorder a meal from a previous week, I don’t know if that’s an option. There is so much choice that I’ve just been trying different meals in each order. I think the meals are VFM because each kit is for 2 people but I eek each kit out to 3 meals. If you’re doubting taste being a vegan, make Planthood your first stop to try. For me, just one word … WOW!

Im hooked! Ive tried many meal boxes, but as a veggie who tries to mainly eat plant based, the choices aren't often that varied. I love the variety of choices and the meals are so tasty.
Love that I don't have to try to come up with meal ideas and make sure I have all the ingredients. Takes off a huge mental load!

We've had four boxes.
Some of the meals are REALLY tasty. They're quick to cook too because of the ready made sauces.
But the produce isn't particularly fresh. We've had cauliflower that was already going mouldy on the day it arrived. Likewise tomatoes. An avocado that was overripe and had been squashed in transit. A plantain that was so ripe it was almost rotten - and I mean the INSIDE of it, not just the skin. We raised some of this with Planthood but got only a tiny refund, in contrast to other recipe box companies who refund an entire meal if there are ingredients missing or unusable.
I think part of this is a packaging problem. Fragile ingredients like avocados are in the same bag as cans of beans. If the box is bumped about in transit, the cans will knock against the avocado, damaging it.
For this reason, we've cancelled our subscription.
If the sauces were available separately and I could buy my own vegetables to go with them, I'd buy them.
On a final note, there are too many tempeh and tofu recipes - I can't eat soy products so it often leaves very little choice. Some recipes also lack protein and are very carb heavy - I personally don't want to eat white rice. Another reason why we've cancelled.

Box four has just been delivered and I can't wait to start cooking. So far, everything has been delicious. The quality is exceptional and the recepies inspired.

Personally, I would prefer small cooking instruction cards included in the box as I sometimes struggle with the QR codes.

Great variety of high-quality, plant-based meals. There doesn't look much when you open the bag but it always tastes wonderful and is filling. It's all about the sauces :) We love Planthood! It also saves us having to think about what to cook. Having been a strict vegetarian for 30 years, it's awesome to have this as an option.

The planthood meals are a great way to try plant based food, especially if you are short on time but want high quality, nutritious food. As a vegetarian it has been good to try totally plant based for a change. We opted for the high protein meals and have been very impressed. The meals are quick and easy to prepare but don't disappoint on flavour.

Super healthy food, so quick to cook a meal. Most of the prep is already done for you. If you don't like cooking or don't have time for healthy food, these are highly recommended. So much choice.

Our family has been fed by Planthood for 2 years now and I have to say, I hope I can carry on like this for as long as possible. It's been a pleasure to prepare these dishes, which involve pretty basic cooking skills so really not tasking. The dishes are simply delicious; their sauces are packed with flavours and has opened our taste buds to all regions of the world. Planthood is a lifestyle now for us.

Great tasty meals, however often lacking a decent protein source. We often have to supplement with additional tofu/seitan to bulk out the meal. (Crispy rice salad?) It would be great to be able to add preferences to meal selections so that the default means received at least met basic wants.

Annoyingly around 10% of all meals we receive are missing ingredients. CS do refund a portion of the meal, and state less than 1% of packages are incorrect - which just hasn't been our experience. Interestingly, it is always a niche ingredient - gochujang mayo, panko breadcrumbs, etc - that is missing... never potatoes. Leads me to believe they simply dont have enough of some items and simply don't pack them without any honest Comms upfront. This is what lead me to cancel my subscription.

Always delivered on time, not had any ingredients missing and it really is absolutely amazing flavoursome food, we are loving it, my daughter is going to be trying it with the discount code I sent her too! Amazing.

Great service and delivery. Lovely food. Easy to prepare. It’s allowing me to have much greater variety. BUT the portions are too large for me.i understand why the quantiles are as they are - I don’t expect to be sent half a butternut squash for example. I get three meals from each. The problem is the requirement to order a minimum of three. I get nine meals - too much to get through comfortably without freezing.

So I’d really appreciate
(a) being able to order less than three
(b) a guide that says which meals are most suitable for freezing.

Absolutely delicious food. I wasn’t sure what to expect but every single meal I’ve received has been top restaurant quality. I’d be very pleased to have received this in a restaurant and have certainly received worse when it comes to vegan a vegetarian food! Very quickly to cook - 15 mins usually. Service has been excellent.
I have 3 meals per week and they are so big I literally live off them all week so keeps me going.

The meals are very simple to prepare, very generous portions with a high flavour, simply delicious. Gives a refreshing break from eating meat. Highly recommend!

Food is great but ordering system - fraudulent. I received an order I didn't order and could not eat as I was on holiday. Food was just picked for me, no checking, and sent, no emails in advance, nothing. Now I wake up to the same. Terrible way to get orders coming. What happened to communicating with the customer, there is supposed to be a warning email, but nothing for me, checked junk folder, nothing. Tried to cancel and that function also didn't work. Get another IT system and refund me and I might try you again, but this experience has been shocking.
