Very poor service all my credits…
Very poor service all my credits suddenly disappeared and when I tried to top up it proved impossible. Call quality is very poor also and often it just doesn't work will never use again.

Doesn’t work anymore
Doesn’t work anymore. Checked me details and registered phone number are up to date, but the access numbers on Planet numbers (used to be planet talk) are not accessible, I get messages that the mobile is not accessible or that I cannot be connected despite having credit.

We are sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. Please note that the Planet Talk app is fully operational. It seems you may be referring to the discontinued Planet Talk Account product.
In September 2023, we notified all customers of Planet Talk Account that the product would be discontinued by December 2023. To ensure a smooth transition, we provided an additional grace period before discontinuing the product in February 2024. Currently, the only active service is the Planet Talk app.

Poor connection to fixed lines in South Africa …
Tried 3 times to top up so that I could make calls to a fixed line, through WiFi calling, which is what I was advised to use, only to be cut off on 85% of my calls at some point. No point. Most disappointing.
Edit: I've had 85% of my calls cut, so the purpose * used your service was to contact fixed lines abroad. Nowhere did you explain that this would be an issue and that large companies with call centers could not be contacted using your service. I've never heard that response from a reputable company either.Poor show.

As mentioned before, service lines like the one you contacted can sometimes have long hold times and unstable connections often due to factors beyond our control, like the recipient’s network and incoming call volumes. That’s why we suggested using email or chat as alternatives. We’re glad you haven’t faced similar issues with other numbers, and please know we’re always working with our service partners to improve call quality.

I love you Planet Talk!! I have been a happy customer for well over 10yrs, if not more.
I have never had a single problem using the app & I have no plans to leave as the call costs are great especially when calling Australia from the UK & or when I'm travelling.
Excellent app. & I would certainly recommend this to anyone, as I've already done!!

I have been using planet talk for years…
I have been using planet talk for years Wifi when I’m home and data when I am somewhere else. Now I can not use my data to make phone calls anymore. It’s telling me I have no access to Wi-Fi. Does anyone know why?

stopped the service but no refund offered
Same experience as customer from 20/3/24 below. Called customer service to be told that the service has been discontinued. I was never advised in advance. Dont understand the advice Planet talk have given. Why didnt they write to customers to explain what they were doing and offer to migrate the account. Anyway as things stand I’ve lost my money

Hi, I'm sorry you are not happy that the account service is closed.
We did apply message's to the service stating it was closing 6 months prior, likewise we contacted all our customer via either phone or email who had an active balance. We advise all our customers to move to our app product to continue using our amazing service's. Refunds are provided in line with our T&Cs.
Excellent help to get started
Chris was extremely helpful in talking us through how to load the App, transfer credit from the previous A/c,
& explain in detail how to make a call.

Appalling service. Planet Talk have closed their Landline service and kept our credit balance and are refusing to return it

Great experience with customer service
Great experience with customer service, they were able to issue a refund within 24hours and I did not have to do a huge dong and dance to get my money back.
