Phrase used to be my favorite and highest-quality CAT tool. However, ever since they added the pop-up black windows with unnecessary information—like notifications that QA is complete (something anyone can already see) or that a file is ready to submit—which often doesn’t even work, it has become incredibly annoying to work in the tool. What used to be smooth and efficient is now frustrating and disruptive.
The service is extremely expensive. They have a completely unacceptable quota system. Let's say you have a big project and need extra quota, that quota will be carried forward and you can't go back. You can buy one-off quota, but it is more expensive. The system is buggy. I was locked out of the system only for them to notice that my quota had been miscalculated. And that took six weeks. And now they are refusing a refund. Support is terrible. And customer service is laughable. Steer well clear.
Since the Americans took over Memsource, everything has gone South. The interface has gone to a complete mess, plans cost double as much as the prior year, one can't cancel the next subscription period within the last days. Steal that last period subscription of mine, and party on my behalf. Well done. It's over with me.

What a scam,
we have been a good customer for years. Now we got a price increase of 4 FOLD! Instead of paying 250 euros, we now pay 1000 euros.
Stay away as far as you can from Phrase...They will scam you too.
Phrase just put up my monthly freelancer subscription price by exactly 50% without warning or explanation. When I wrote to them querying this they just sent a standard FAQ back, claiming that they definitely notified everyone 60 days beforehand. I just checked my emails very carefully, including my spam folder, and there is no notification.
