Did my CBT with Gary at the Fareham centre, was a fantastic day! Gary was really patient and a great chap, had lots of fun learning with him and will be back again to do my full license when I’m ready, highly recommend for anyone looking to get out on a motorbike! Thank you! ☺️

Excellent instructor who gave me great advice for the future

Brilliant day. Instructor, Gary, calm and supportive. Technical information accurately given in different ways, to explain importance. Off road training given in a variety of ways to make it easy.
Bikes - 125Cha - well maintained.
Clearly care taken in selection of on-road course giving us experience, training, but safely.
Definitely liked the intercom system for communicating while we were on the road. All provided.
Overall, would totally recommend. And, to top it all, we passed, aged 77 & 28!

I researched a number of local motorcycle training schools before settling with Phoenix in Fareham. As a returning rider, I was keen to have a consistent CBT, MOD1 and MOD2 experience and go with a school that was well regarded and recommended by friends and colleagues.

I was not disappointed. From the CBT with Gary, to the full licence assessment with Martin and the full licence training with Martin and Mickey I received the absolute best experience for my training, roadsense and beyond. Rather than training to pass my tests, I feel I received training to ride and mentoring towards mindset - both of which are lifelong skills which will allow me to both enjoy my bike but remain aware, self reflecting and critical.

As a naturally anxious person, Martin, Mickey and Gary used their extensive experience to highlight areas of both my riding and confidence that needed work and provided a down to earth, practical and amiable coaching method that suited my needs.

As a result, I went from CBT to passing my full motorcycle licence in the space of two months, supported by the excellent staff to ensure the training and test days allowed me to work around home and work commitments.

I would strongly recommend Phoenix and look forward to taking further advanced courses with them to ensure I remain safe and enhance my roadcraft.

Yep, a full 5 stars! I can wholeheartedly recommend Phoenix Fareham for their first-class motorcycle training. I received excellent tuition from guys at the top of their game - Martin use to be a police outrider and Mickey is the nicest bloke on two wheels you’ll ever meet - both passionate in sharing their skills and experience with the next generation of new riders. The thing is, I wasn’t just shown how to get through the tests, I was taught how to ride competently, confidently, and safely - thus preparing the necessary groundwork for my riding skills to develop with experience, ensuring years of safe and happy motorcycling. As a ‘later life’ trainee - learning to ride is something I’ve wanted to do for decades - I doubt I was the most natural student they’ve ever had but Martin’s and Mickey’s positive attitude and encouragement throughout got me through.

A big thank you also to the Phoenix back-office booking team - their commitment and tenacity in finding training days and test appointments that fitted around my work and home commitments was hugely appreciated!

Finally their location is a key factor in my five star rating. When originally looking for training, I homed-in on Phoenix because of their close proximity to the Lee-on-the-Solent driving test centre. Being able to perfect Mod1 exercises in the actual DVSA test arena, and develop an intimate knowledge of the roads around Lee-on-the-Solent and Gosport, would pay huge dividends come my Mod1 and Mod2 test days. A genuine bonus!

I’m so glad I did my motorcycle training with Phoenix. Gary helped me through my CBT back in October and both Mickey and Martin were great instructors when it came to the big bike stuff. Thanks to their thorough and enjoyable training, I attained my full license today. First time of trying and no major or minor faults in both mod1 and mod2. Thanks guys.

Just done my CBT (Fareham) at the tender age of 37. Martin was patient, thorough, honest and most importantly of all got me to a passing standard in one day despite my nerves and inexperience. I’ll be back to do my DAS once I’ve built up some mileage.

Very professional company , good new bikes 2020 and onwards. Have all the equipment like speed guns and anything you need to help you pass the test. Well experienced and calm/clear trainers

Instructors at Phoenix Motorcycle are very professional and patient. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I recommend taking motorcyclist test with Phoenix.

I trained in Fareham and completed my CBT with Paul and then my A license training with Mickey and Martin. All 3 instructors were very helpful and very patient with me. I really enjoyed my motorbike training, and at the end I passed both modules 1 and 2 on my first attempt with no faults. I wouldn’t have been able to do this without the help and support of the instructors, and I highly recommend Phoenix and their top class instructors.

I’ve taken my CBT, A2 and finally my A1 test with Phoenix. Mickey is a great instructor and teacher who helped me pass first time every time. Helen on the phones was so helpful with booking and any questions. I recommend Phoenix to anyone who asks about motorbike training. 10/5 stars if I could.
