Pre-CBT, CBT and CBT Plus were fantastic and positive experiences, gave me plenty of confidence with lots of instruction from very knowledgeable people.

Well what can I say about this amazing school that's hasn't been said already. Trainers were patient, even when I kept messing up, incredibly knowledgeable and not that it matters so much they were bloody lovely. Bikes and kit were all in good condition and maintained throughout the day by their engineer. I took my CBT through these guys on the advice of friends and I will continue my progression with these guys. Cannot recommend enough.

The two instructors were very calm and patient, I really liked Jorge who made the day very fun and full of laughs and made the whole experience very calm and easier to learn. Would highly recommend.

I have recently completed my CBT at Phoenix’s Bristol branch. Dylan and Jorge were excellent. They delivered a professional and well structured course whilst also making the day fun and enjoyable. They managed to keep the pace of learning engaging for everyone, despite there being a range of ability and experience attending the course. Whilst out on the road, Dylan kept safety as the highest priority but did so with a relaxed approach which allowed me to gain a lot of confidence given it was my first time riding a manual. Overall I highly recommend Phoenix if you are looking to take your first steps into motorcycle riding.

Did my test a few weeks ago and was instantly greeted with a smile and made to feel welcome and comfortable. Both instructors Jorge and Dylan were very clearly spoken and understanding with any questions. There was an hour or two of sitting down and understanding the rules of the road and the basics of a bike but other than that the time was spent well practicing on the bike and gaining confidence. The last two hours were spent on the roads with Dylan and he was very easy to understand and couldn’t have asked anyone better to have on my CBT. Highly recommend.

my instructor was amazing he was very professional and he was a wonderful instructor very patient too i learned an awful lot from Will he was extremely thorough it was a very positive experience Will was very friendly too .

Really good instructors giving you everything you need to pass.
Made sure I was ready not just with practice but in my head with confidence Will probably look into any other courses they run to improve my riding.

From booking to taking the CBT everybody was helpful and the process made easy.
Instructors Dylan & Jorge were great, they both made the day enjoyable and fun. With the right level of fun and laughter given the serious nature of the course.

I can't begin to thank the team at phoenix enough. From my initial try ride back in July 2024 up to now they have been some of the most great people to learn riding a motorbike with. I had a CBT in January 2025 where I kept falling and decided to take an extra lesson with them to build my confidence. When I said to the instructor Jorge in January that I will stop my CBT early and head home, he was fantastic, understanding with my decision and told me not to worry, it's all practice. Fast forward to early may 2025 I had a lesson with Will, to iron out the issues I had, clutch control and falling... And Will was absolutely amazing, my confidence grew minute by minute and he told me to book my CBT. I booked my CBT again for today 29/05 and when I turned up to the test centre, Jorge was there, instantly remembered me and asked how I was. That small gesture of just remembering me and having a quick chat meant a lot, I could tell he's been waiting to see me again and through the day alongside Will with practice manoeuvres, I was raring to get on the road ride as I felt really confident in myself. Happy to say I completed my CBT this time around without dropping the bike at all! I did accidentally put to much revs and had a brief wheelie which I got under control quickly, which Will spotted and complimented me on controlling it. I cannot thank the team enough for today, the atmosphere, how they inform and educate you on all the training aspects is fantastic, I wish anyone doing a CBT at Bristol to have these two as they were just perfect.

Had a great day doing my CBT. Jorge was excellent. Other staff were very friendly too.

If you want to pass you're cbt then this is the place to go!!! Amazing instructor, very clear and helpful. I was helped along the way in each section and I can honestly say I probably would of struggled if I'd gone elsewhere! I took a try ride the month before my cbt because I'd never rode a motorbike before, this was very helpful and would recommend if like me you have never rode before. Thank you phoenix

Both Sean and Will are incredible instructors. They actually care about you passing and getting your full license. They are extremely supportive, a great experience all around.
