Ofelia recently showed my partner and I around a house. She was friendly, knowledgable and put us at ease, and answering our questions without rushing us. We put in an offer on the house which unfortunately didn't end up working out, but we would love to work with Ofelia again to find our dream house.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a house viewing arranged by Ofelia Tabot, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. From the moment I expressed interest in the property, Ofelia was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making the entire process seamless.

At the viewing, Ofelia was punctual, professional, and well-prepared. She had a deep understanding of the property and was able to answer all of my questions with clarity and detail. Her friendly and approachable demeanor made me feel comfortable throughout the viewing, and she provided valuable insights that helped me envision how the space could work for me.

Most importantly they were patient and acted professionally even when I was worried, they were totally in control. Ofelia coordinated the whole process, taking up the solicitors task at some point, she was superb and her stakeholders management skill between the seller, buyer and solicitors was perfect.

I worked with Ofelia Tabot at Peter Anthony and she was great - she was great when showing me the property I was interested in, really laying out the pro's and cons in what felt like an honest assessment. She also went the extra mile in helping me make the offer. It didn't work out, but I think the Peter Anthony service is excellent.

First class and first rate service from Ofelia Tabo!

I was interested in a property and dealt with the person called Dewi. I've asked her about possibility of the seller accpecting a price with GBP 20k lower than the asking price, as I'd say the property is slightly overpirced companred to others in the area. Also from my view, if there's no way the seller would consider it, I'd not bother to offer or to proceed. However, Dewi asked me to officially provide the offer, which needed a lot of my personal information as well, including basic contacts and address details, but also asked for my bank statements, incomes and all.

After that, she got into no touch. 1. She never said she was going to present the offer to seller. 2. Even if it's rejected, she never told me the result.
A few days later, I followed up, and she didn't even reply. She just ghosted that way. I never saw a property agent being so unprofessional like this, with 0 communication.
Then 1 month later today, the company called and asked if they can save my info for future. Wow, of course I asked to remove all.

[Update: the response from the agency was entirely a lie. 1) they never said the seller would not accept my potential offer, and we never spoke on the phone or email about that. Also no proof they actually presented my offer, which by law they had to. 2) I never enquired another property from them afterwards (I have all records), so there was no point calling me wanting to keep my information.]

We viewed SO many properties over the last 8 months, when the viewing agent addresses you by name you know you've been in the system for too long! Out of the 10-12 agents we had dealings with - some good, others borderline criminal - Peter Anthony truly are a different breed. Their care even for the humble property viewer is always personal, and while we eventually found our property with another agency, I wish they were represented by Peter Anthony. Ofelia in particular is a force of nature: she really wants to understand a viewer's needs, and she's really trying to find a good match between vendors and viewers and not to push a hard sale. I felt I was listened to and the properties she recommended all matched our requirements, but she always stepped in our shoes and let us take the time we needed and always had a positive word and another suggestion. Highly recommended.

Peter Anthony Estate Agents - brilliant. The Best. Exceptionally professional from the outset. Tom the manager initially visited to evaluate the property, he gave us a full overview of the process which was invaluable at a later stage and gave us full confidence in the market. Ofelia Tabot worked with us and matched the perfect buyer to our property. Ofelia was absolutely amazing with her attitude and positive outlook. We have been with Peter Anthony for past 14 years. Recently, we sold one of our properties through Pad4u and the service we received from Ofelia ,Tom and Zahid was exceptional. We had lot of tenant issues and constant delays with the sale but Peter Anthony team kept us abreast with the going ons and eventually we completed. Ofelia in particular is an asset to Peter Anthony.we were impressed by her supportive attitude and perseverance and we wish her and all the team great success for the future.

We placed our mums house for sale after being visited by Tom who spoke well and clearly seemed to have a lot of experience at selling in the local area. Unfortunately that is where the professionalism ended. We had several errors on the original listing such as a toilet and three piece bathroom listed upstairs which was not correct, had several bookings (people arriving at the house) which we weren’t informed about, those where a viewer arrived but not an agent, back door left not only unlocked but open after a morning viewing when no one was back at the house until evening, offers and counter offers that were not passed on in either direction and no feedback from viewings. We had people showing the house who’d never been in before, and finally they lost the keys! All in all a completely wasted four months and we couldn’t wait to get rid of them as our agents. Please don’t read the high star rating without taking into account an increasing number of low star ones. If I could give zero stars I would.

I'll tell my story renting with them for nearly 1 and a half years and let you decide what you think.

Moved to Liverpool from London in October 2022 and I found the company on the internet. I couldn't come to visit the house at that time so everything was done through emails. After plenty of struggle with the documents and everything we finally agreed to sign the contract. Me moving from London I had a bit of luggage and came with the train and they just couldn't agree for us to sign the contract and give me the keys at the house so I had to go through hell to reach their office with all the luggage and sign the papers. After that they simply gave me the keys from the house and that's it, see you later. Once I reached the house I wanted to get to my room and unpack but surprise: the advertised room I've seen in the photos was the wrong room and nearly got into a fight because the guy living in that room thought I was a burglar trying to rob him. After finally realizing the mistake we laughed it out and I got into my room. There was another surprise: the handle of the window was missing and I couldn't close the window, so I took photos and immediately sent an email with the problem to the agency. It took them 2 months to call somebody to come and fix it and only after I reached to them and asked them what was taking so long because I found somebody to come and fix it in less than a week. They guy who came took less than 5 minutes to fix it and I had to sleep for 2 months with my window open from October to December. And now comes the fun part: 2nd of December 2023 I was baking a pizza and suddenly the power went off. After turning on the main switch the hell broke: the alarm system went on and we couldn't stop it. We tried everything possible: tried the code written on the alarm and wouldn't work, called the number on the alarm and the guy said that last time when he was in the house was around 6 years ago and couldn't remember the code, called emergency numbers but everyone advised us to call the agency which has no emergency number so in case anything bad happens there's no way to contact them (I tried all socials to find any contact from the agency but couldn't find anything and the agent whom I talked before didn't appeared to be working there anymore). After 3 hours when even the neighbours were getting aware of the never stopping alarm we managed to contact an electrician to see to the problem. After a careful examination he managed to bypass the alarm and told us the problem started with the oven (not working since then) and the agency needs to get in touch with an electrician to come to see to the oven and reset the alarm. The alarm wasn't supposed to go on but because nobody cared to check it at least once a year the battery was dead so it couldn't be used as a backup for power outage. I sent an email to the official email address of Peter Anthony Liverpool the next day and one month later still no response. A housemate called them 2 days after I sent the email and they didn't even bother to check the email because they were unaware of what has happened, but they said they will fix the problem. Now it's been over a month and the alarm is still bypassed and any outage might trigger it again and we spent the lovely holidays without an oven to bake or cook something.

Now after all this I let you decide if you want to have a peaceful life knowing that when you have a problem you can rely on your agency to fix it or want to be part of a group were everyday is a new adventure and if anything bad happens you are most likely guaranteed to be ignored until a later date when they feel comfy enough to finally do something.
