Tegan at the Macclesfield branch is so…
Tegan at the Macclesfield branch is so helpful in helping you find a rental. Her customer service skills are excellent and I am so glad I had her help to guide me through the process. Thank you for working with me to find the right property for me and my family
Overcharge on repairs and never provide cost breakdowns for review.
As a one property landlord, Jordan Fishwick's chosen contractors will often and repeatedly overcharge on parts and labour for repairs. Often this can be over twice the price of the parts when viewed online.
Jordan Fishwick will make no attempt to challenge these costs or even ask for a breakdown of what parts will be used. I have never once been given a receipt or itemised breakdown of costs for repairs. Jordan Fishwick have worked with the same contractors for the entire time I have rented through them and make no attempt to shop around to find a cheaper price.
They have a very cosy relationship with contractors who wilfully overcharge on parts and landlords are simply expected to eat the costs, which can often be several hundreds of pound inflated.
I once asked for a full breakdown of costs for a repair and received a document that simply said "Parts - £X, Labour - £X"
When asked to challenge the costs or provide parts breakdowns they will tell you to arrange your own repairs, completely ignoring the management service rules they themselves sign up to.
They have zero care for tenants, often leading to long waiting times on repairs while repair costs are challenged, and will pressure you into just accepting the highly inflated quoted price.
If you're a small time landlord do not rent through Jordan Fishwick.
Great Job Jason & Debbie
We had several viewings within a few hours of the property going on the market, they were all well vetted which gave us the confidence required to proceed. We were kept updated throughout the process and every questions or query we had was professionally answered. We were in safe hands and delighted that we managed to find a suitable tenant quickly.
We have had a very positive experience…
We have had a very positive experience selling a property with Jordan Fishwick, Wilmslow.
Lara Tagg has been extremely efficient, helpful and professional throughout the process. She has made quite a stressful sale after initially falling through at the last minute have a positive outcome by acting quickly and securing another sale very quickly and ensuring a smooth transaction. She is very friendly and helpful. Also thanks to Richard Peck for his help and guidance throughout the process.
I would highly recommend JF to others!
I am disappointed
I am disappointed with the communication received from Jordan Fishwick Sale regarding my offer on a property.
My offer for a property was verbally confirmed as rejected, with the agent explicitly stating that the process had ended, and the landlord had accepted another final offer. However, I subsequently received a formal "rejection letter" which completely contradicted this, stating that I was welcome to increase the offer and that the company "look[ed] forward to further negotiations."
When questioned, the agent apologized, confirming the letter was a "generic rejection letter" and that no further opportunity to increase the offer was available.
Buying a property is a significant and stressful process. For an established company to send out generic, mass-produced templates that directly conflict with a verbal final decision adds unnecessary stress and confusion. It shows a severe lack of care and accuracy in communication.
Furthermore, no proper, constructive feedback was provided on why our offer was rejected in the first place, beyond the property going to "best and final offers." I would expect a professional estate agent to provide clear, specific details in such a significant transaction, not confusing, automated responses. I hope the company addresses the use of these misleading templates to avoid causing similar frustration to future clients.
Very good service

Harriet was great when the solicitors wasn't! Between us at Glen Heaton estate agents and her we worked well to get the results for exchange 😀 Thanks Harriet
Dreadful - Harry Ignatowicz of Jordan Fishwick…
We engaged Harry Ignatowicz of Jordan Fishwick to sell our property
Harry and Jordan Fishwick disappointed throughout after selling a dream service:
They failed to generate any credible bids after managing 34 viewings. I subsequently managed 11 viewings directly leading to 6 bids above or significantly above asking price
Their service was poor throughout. They failed to prepare for the viewings and lacked a basic understanding of the property (parking, loft, etc.) despite us asking for a meeting to discuss multiple times
It felt that they needed managing and support throughout and we had to cancel the contract as we had no trust they could deliver on the sales process
Following our withdrawal Harry became passive aggressive and highly unprofessional, with a service far far short of the minimum baseline you’d expect
The extra mile
Jordan Fishwick went the extra mile to get our purchase over the line. Can't praise them enough for their hard work on our behalf.
An excellent experience throughout
An excellent experience throughout, as always with Debra, Harriet and team. Very professional and pleasant team. A great job. thank you

Good communication all the way through the process
It's been almost two months
It's been almost two months, and I'm still waiting for my deposit back. I wouldn't be so bothered if they communicated, but they can take some time just to email back. It's just a worry as I'm trying to move into my next property, and to do that, I need my deposit back from the previous place. It's just delayed my whole move-in date by months.
Excellent Service
We have recently sold our house with Jordan Fishwick.
The service has been amazing, all staff are very professional, prompt responses to all correspondences.
Harriett especially has gone above and beyond, very approachable, professional, exceptionally thorough at her job.
We have previously used Jordan & Fishwick and would definitely recommend.
Thank you

Chorlton Jordan Fishwick are so helpful
Maura and the team at Chorlton Jordon Fishwick were so helpful when we recently bought a house for the first time. It was a very smooth process and they were easy to contact and great at helping us communicate with the seller, as well as guiding us through the as first time buyers.
Debbie at Jordan Fishwick Glossop has…
Debbie at Jordan Fishwick Glossop has been absolutely brilliant from start to finish. She supported us through both the sale and purchase, always keeping us updated and chasing the chain to keep everything moving. It was a tricky process, but her persistence, professionalism, and kindness made all the difference — we honestly couldn’t have done it without her. I’d highly recommend Debbie to anyone looking for someone reliable, proactive, and genuinely supportive.
Friendly and professional.
We viewed a property twice with Olivia at the Sale branch helping us on both occasions. At all times she was friendly, cheerful and efficient. Unfortunately,we did not proceed with the purchase but she handled to he feedback professionally. We wouldn't hesitate dealing with Jordan Fishwick again.
A Warning to anyone looking to rent.
My experience with Jordan Fishwick at 6 Latchmere Road, Manchester, shows why students and young tenants should avoid them. At every stage they acted in bad faith, misrepresented key details, and treated us with contempt.
The underfloor heating issue was the clearest example. Over the summer, cleaners accidentally switched it on because the controls looked exactly like a light switch. Neither the landlord nor Jordan Fishwick had even disclosed that underfloor heating existed. It was not in the check-in guide, and the landlord admitted she did not know it was there. By the time we moved in, it had been running continuously, leaving us with a £1,500 electricity bill. Instead of accepting responsibility, Jordan Fishwick dodged blame and twisted the evidence to make it look like we were at fault.
Adam Mack’s handling of this was shockingly incompetent and dismissive. First he told us the property did not have underfloor heating at all. When he was forced to admit it did, he then claimed that “electric underfloor heating doesn’t exist” and insisted that if our bills were inflated, the cost would have shown up on the gas bill. This was a transparent attempt to get us to drop the issue and accept the charges, despite them clearly being caused by the agent and landlord’s failure to manage the property properly.
Because Adam Mack was so incapable of managing the situation, Sarah Rushton was brought in whenever things became legally risky. Her role was obvious: to be the slimy operator who twisted evidence and tried to reframe the facts in Jordan Fishwick’s favour. Where Adam bungled things with incompetence, Sarah’s approach was more polished but ultimately more cynical, designed to cover their mistakes and protect the landlord at the tenants’ expense.
The end of the tenancy brought more of the same. Jordan Fishwick submitted an inflated deposit claim of £1,175, demanding charges for a full professional clean and blanket redecoration despite the décor being in poor condition at check-in. The independent Tenancy Deposit Scheme adjudicator rejected most of this, reducing the redecoration claim from £300 to just £20 and exposing the exaggeration of their claims. Without adjudication, we would have lost hundreds more.
Taken together, these experiences reveal a consistent pattern. Jordan Fishwick failed to disclose key information, mismanaged the property, inflated costs, and then manipulated the process when challenged. They exploited the fact that we were students without the legal knowledge or resources to fight every point. We still lost thousands overall, and many others in our position would have simply given up. That imbalance of power is exactly what they rely upon.
In my view, Jordan Fishwick are dishonest, dismissive, and exploitative. They cannot be trusted to act fairly or transparently. Students and young renters in Manchester should protect themselves by steering well clear of this agency.
Only care about landlords, not tenants
Jordan Fishwick were unprofessional and tenant-unfriendly from the start. After applying, it took over two weeks — and a second application — just to get a viewing. When we finally viewed the property, the agent clearly wasn’t interested. No proper tour, no answers to our questions, and they wouldn’t even open the back door so we could view the garden.
I submitted an offer the same day, but was told they were holding off for four more days to show the property to others before presenting offers to the landlord — a clear attempt to start a bidding war and drive up the rent. Not acting in the tenant’s best interest at all.
They use Goodlord for referencing and documents, which was terrible. The system crashed constantly, was inaccessible for people with disabilities, and had no real support.
Then came the holding deposit debacle. We paid in good faith, completed referencing quickly, and were then left in limbo — no tenancy agreement, no legal protection, and told the landlord wouldn’t sign until two days before move-in because they weren’t sure the current tenants would vacate. That meant almost a full month of waiting with zero certainty.
Although the tenancy guide included a mention of the 15-day legal deadline for signing, the required written agreement to extend was never discussed when we paid the deposit. It only came up after I brought up the law myself. That’s a huge issue. Tenants shouldn’t have to know housing law just to avoid being misled or left vulnerable.
Summary: Jordan Fishwick care only about landlords. They disregard fairness, don’t communicate key legal protections, and treat tenants like they’re disposable. The entire experience was avoidably stressful and frankly disrespectful.
Avoid them if you can.
