No option for no stars I would give minus stars if it was possible… I too don’t believe the good reviews… I booked this company via groupon… straight away they were not happy that I booked through groupon as they said they only get around £120 once groupon take they’re share… regardless why advertise on groupon if you don’t want to honour the booking… anyway wanted a Saturday appointment because of work but was told only private bookings can have weekends but through groupon they will only do weekdays.. went ahead and booked for 9am.. on the day of appointment I took the morning off work called them at 9.30 to check I got the right time and was assured my time was 9-10… called again at 10.30 and was sent to busy.. called 3 more times and was blocked… called from my daughters phone and he answered straight away but when I told him who I was he said he is not coming and they no longer do groupon… needless to say I wasn’t happy and let him know how I felt… DONT ADVERTISE YOUR BUSINESS ON GROUPON IF YOU DONT INTEND TO HONOUR THE BOOKING…
Now I have to contact groupon and get a refund… Thanks for nothing

great company very happy with how daniel and connor helped me with my rodent problem, all holes sealed and no more mice. would highly recommend

Pest Protect came round the morning after we contacted them and were very informative and kind. They returned a week later to close up the holes and documented the process with photos, videos and a letter for us to send to our landlord. Dan has offered to come back again should we encounter any further problems. We feel much safer in our home now and highly recommend their service.

Booked Daniel... and he confirmed thatbhe will come at 12 but he never turned up blocked my number then called from a private number and some John picked up they not reliable I think this 5 start reviews are fake lol... now he will say that they dont have a record of me and bla bla bla ... disgraceful company don't say is not true screenshot are below ... when I called with private number he picked up and started making excuses bunch of jokers... Also check my Google review from mehtab Ahmad I uploaded pics that I called them several time after no show. Whoever you are don't try to act smart and reply to negative reviews by saying that wrong company and lies like that.

Danny was super helpful and friendly. Him and his team helped us find the holes at the root of the problem very quickly and efficiently. Seems all sorted now and they’ve been very on it with sorting out follow up visits. Thanks a lot :)

Having checked the website of this company Pest Protect and got the assurance they had the logos of
1) British Pest Control Association (BPCA)
2) The Guild of Master Craftsmen
3) SafeContractor
4) TrustATrader

I felt I would get good value for money. I called them up (I can mention the name of the person I spoke with but this is not allowed). We agreed on what they will do (fumigate all rooms and use gel in the kitchen also). We also agreed on the cost. The package I got came with guarantee certificate for a whole year; so if cockroaches appear again within a year, they'd treat it for free. I later sent an email to (email address: info...) to confirm what I will be getting and got a confirmation email. We also agreed the payment would be made through a bank transfer on the same day.

I was driving when I received a phone call from the tenant saying the pest control officer wanted to get paid. I asked the tenant if the job was completed as agreed over the phone and by email (which is: fumigate all rooms and use gel in the kitchen also) and she said they only used gel. When I called the Pest Protect gentleman, he insisted he'd sprayed all rooms and used gel. He insisted on getting the payment immediately. When I asked him about the guarantee certificate (which is also part of the agreement), he said, I will give it to the tenant when you make the payment. It was pretty obvious over the phone the Pest Protect gentleman was only interested in getting paid immediately even when has not completed the job as agreed. The tenant also called me saying the Pest Control gentleman would not leave before getting paid and some threatening had taken place. I was shocked as we've agreed I need to settle the payment on the same day (not on the spot). As I was driving, I had to call my son to make the payment immediately.

When I sent the proof to the Pest Control gentleman (over Whatsapp), I asked him to give the guarantee certificate to the tenant. I got no response. In fact I was shocked to realise the gentleman had blocked me immediately after seeing the proof of payment, so I was unable to communicate with him on Whatsapp....not very nice.

Anyway, I asked to tenant to send me what she got form the Pest Protect gentleman and it was a Treatment/Inspection Report. No receipt no guarantee certificate. I find this really unacceptable. I emailed them and got no response after more than a month. I will be taking this further... I promise.

In the end, I am so disappointed with the level of service I got from Pest Protect.....obviously not what I would expect from a British Pest Control Association (BPCA) member. I shall wait for your initial response before deciding on what to do next.

Cannot rate these guys highly enough. Found an issue and called them and they came that day to help me out. I have a massive phobia and they have really made me feel comfortable that I won’t have an issue again. Top class service

Mr Danny Tuson and his son came over to my apartment to catch a mouse that invaded my bedroom. They turned up within the next hour after I called for help, their response time was incredible. They both were very friendly and professional; very quickly caught the mouse, set up sticky pads and briefed me on watch-its. A week later they came over to seal openings on the floor that were identified as potential routes for mice, which seems like extra helpful remedial service that no regular pest control would offer. I cannot recommend them enough!

Daniel And Connor did a fantastic job in removing our infestation of cockroaches. Extremely professional I will definitely be using them in the future would highly recommend pest protect.

Daniel and his son were great. Fixed our mice issue straight away. Good comms and always on time. Five stars.

Dan and his team were very good: professional and punctual and helped explain exactly what they were doing and how it would work. No sign of mice since the second visit - great service!

We have had a big problem with Rats. Not being experienced in this, I initially looked at a professional company for a quote which was ridiculous (some kind of 3 year plan for a few pounds short of £5,000). I looked at the reviews for Pest Protect and was not disappointed. The day after I called, the owner (not sure if I can mention his name) came to assess and could tell instantly it was rats. He diligently checked all the areas of the house where rats could be and placed a variety of traps (some poison, outdoor, snap traps and sticky pads) which yielded results straight away (within 24hrs). He came back as soon as I reported the traps going off and removed the bodies. He filled in some of the holes and replaced the traps. We caught more rats and within the same week, he came to asses, refill the poison traps and fill in the rest of the holes. He also sprayed everything in the affected areas with some kind of anti-viral spray. There are still rats under the floorboards which we can hear and so still looking to find the permanent solution. Either way, Pest Protect have assured me they will help. I've been in touch with them and they're very responsive and also proactive.

Overall, it's been a first-rate experience so far; exceptionally friendly guy, very flexible, highly responsive and happy to help as much as required to fix the problem.

I would fully recommend Pest Protect to anyone. Value for money is excellent!

As a side note, I read some of the negative reviews and cannot believe that's the same person/company. The prices seem to be different for a start...

Pest Protect provide an excellent service for a very reasonable price. We had a mouse issue which we initially spoke to another pest control company about. They put poison down and the mice came back. We then spoke to Pest Protect who put more poison down and sealed up gaps - for a lower price. Danny, one of Pest Protect's technicians, is friendly and knowledgeable about his trade. I would recommend Pest Protect for any mouse infestation - great value for money.

Second time using this firm, had them round to sort out a moth issue in the spare room. Same 5 star service, booked in my visit quickly, good price, nice guy (Danny) doing the treatment and problem all sorted out.

Would recommend giving them a call.

Would highly recommend Danny and his team, had them round for a rodent issue and they acted so thoroughly and professionally he’s just been round for his second visit and has filled up any holes this massively put my mind at ease . Definitely would recommend him to friends.
