Thanks to Greg Vaughn for the very helpful advice he recently gave me with regard to my enquiry about a possibly mis-sold pension plan. I contacted Greg after I began to suspect that I was mis-sold a FSAVC in the early 1990s by General Portfolio. I provided Greg a few details and he advised it was worth further investigation.

Greg handled the rest, and I left everything in his hands. Where a decision needed to be made, Greg laid out the pros and cons of each option, but left the decision to me.

Greg stuck with the case, even though it took over two years to resolve (delays were due to my pension scheme administrators and the length of time it took the loss adjusters to calculate my compensation).

The outcome was that I was received a large sum as compensation without having any stress of trying to handle it myself. All handled in a friendly yet professional manner by Greg. So, I would definitely recommend Greg.

I was Initially a little dubious that anyone would be able to make a successful case for me but Greg certainly did. He pointed out that I should have been advised to invest more in my Civil Service pension than in a FSAVC. The outcome has been to get me a substantial payment plus an additional compensation from the pension provider for the length of time it had taken them. I would have no hesitation in recommending Greg Vaughan FS. The whole process from start to finish was very professional but also with a personal touch. I was kept informed on progress throughout my claim (mis-sold pension) with very clear advice and explanations. I was more than happy with the final settlement from the insurance company.

Greg dealt with my FSAVC issue very professionally. I submitted the original policy documents and completed a straightforward questionnaire and the process was subsequently handled by Greg who obtained a maximum payout for me. The whole process took nearly 12 months, but I was delighted with the outcome.

Excellent service, including regular communication with myself and continuous feedback on the appeal. Greg was prompt in replying to my queries and made the whole process easy from my perspective. I had stored all the neccessary copies of the documents regarding the sale of the FSAVC from the initial sale date which assisted the process I'm sure, and Greg made excellent use of these to assist with the appeal.
