I paid this company over £3,000 for a specialist investigation that they represented they could carry out. In my experience, the service delivered fell far short of what was promised and did not provide the forensic investigation I had paid for.
When I raised concerns and requested a refund, rather than resolving the matter, Heather has ignored me since April. Today I was repeatedly asked to provide additional bank details by PEL. My bank specifically advised me not to provide these details to this company and that the refund goes back to my card.
To make matters worse, I received what I considered to be intimidating and unprofessional telephone calls from an individual identifying himself as Paul, who spoke to me in a threatening manner instead of addressing my complaint. And demanding I remove this review. The reply below is absolute fabrication and this matter is now being investigated by the police.
I have now had to pursue this matter through my bank and the police as I paid for services that were not delivered as represented.
Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this company. I would strongly encourage anyone considering using them to carry out thorough due diligence before making any payment.

We are disappointed that 'Anonymous' ANIKA PURI has chosen to remain anonymous while publicly naming individual members of PEL staff and making serious allegations about their conduct.
The review omits important context. During our discussions, the client requested actions that PEL could not lawfully or ethically undertake. We made it clear that we would not carry out any activity outside the law or accepted professional standards.
The investigation also required information and cooperation from the client. Despite repeated attempts to obtain the necessary answers and clarification, this was not provided, making it impossible for us to progress the matter properly.
As it became clear that the working relationship could not continue, PEL decided that it did not wish to act for this client. PEL has made a full refund. Any request for bank details was made solely to enable the refund to be processed and was not improper.
We strongly reject the suggestion that PEL is a scam or that payment was retained for work that was not delivered. The client was refunded in full.
We also reject the characterisation of our communications as threatening. The purpose of the calls was to address the client’s concerns and explain our position.
It is frustrating that an anonymous review containing serious and incomplete allegations can remain published while naming identifiable members of staff and potentially damaging the reputation of a legitimate business. We have reported the review to Trustpilot and have asked them to consider the full circumstances and supporting evidence.
