I strongly advise against using Pelago…

I strongly advise against using Pelago for your tour bookings. My experience with their customer service has been incredibly disappointing. I requested to cancel my trip via email, as clearly stated on the voucher that cancellations are allowed. However, after sending my initial request, I received no response without following up multiple times.

When I finally did hear back, they informed me that they would need to consult the tour provider before getting back to me. It's now been five days, and I’m still waiting for a reply. Meanwhile, the tour operator's website explicitly states that cancellations are permitted if the voucher hasn’t been used.

This lack of communication and support from Pelago is unacceptable. Save yourself the frustration and avoid using their services for your travel plans. There are far more reliable options out there.

Donˋ t pay with your KrisFlyer Miles

had the same experience as others here. I paid for an excursion with KrisFlyer miles, didn't receive the tickets, and the miles aren't being refunded. Despite contacting them via email, there was no response after more than three weeks. There was no response to further inquiries. Absolutely terrible, and this is part of Singapore Airlines. But they didn't help either.

Don’t buy tickets from them!

Don’t buy tickets from them!! Don’t know which genius came up with the idea of starting a promo half way through the sales period. Was a loyal fan of the Sake Matsuri event for the past 2 years. So this year when I heard they are organising the event again, I bought the tickets immediately in Apr. No promo code could be used, even though I was a new user and the app clearly states that new users get 10% off. What a scam.

Then after a month, on 10 May, I found out that they suddenly have a promo code which gives buyers additional 500 krisflyer miles. So I emailed them if they can add this promo code for me. Only got a reply after 6 days, that they cannot do that because it is not fair to the later buyers. EXCUSE ME??? So how is that fair to early buyers then??? Isn’t it common sense that you either don’t give promo or do promo at the start of sales period to encourage buyers??? Who even start a promo half way through the sales period?? You do this and expect early buyers to still think this is fair to everyone?? What sort of logic is this?? Not even willing to grant the 500 miles on goodwill basis, the customer service people clearly have no idea how to maintain business relations. WILL NEVER USE THEIR SERVICE AGAIN.

Better book with sb else if you want your activity

Company offers activities from people who no longer cooperate with them for over a year. There's no way to call or have a live chat as the website keeps lagging, only possible way after lots of waiting is to write an email that was answered after hours and the issue looked into for 3-5 business days. I got a refund, but what about the day that I planned according to activity that was never available. After 3 weeks I got an e-mail with apologies and a voucher for 40% discount valid for next 90 days. I'm no longer on vacation, next one in a year, this ,,good will" gesture just looks good. And who knows, maybe next activity will also be unavailable? Strongly discourage you from booking anything

I had purchased the ticket for Universal Studios Singapore on 15 April 2025 was planned to enter the place on 26 April 2025. The ticket was CONFIRMED and ISSUED ticket to me. SURPRISINGLY ON 25 APRIL 2025 a day before my trip .... MY TICKET HAD BEEN CANCELLED AND NO REFUND DATE IS PROVIDED!!! I BOOK MY FREAKING HOTEL AND EVERYTHING JUST FOR USS NOW JUST CANCEL IT LAST MINUTE WHICH I REACHED SINGAPORE?!!! SERIOUSLY????

Cancel tickets LAST MINUTE

I had purchased the ticket for Universal Studios Singapore on 15 April 2025 was planned to enter the place on 26 April 2025. The ticket was CONFIRMED and ISSUED ticket to me. SURPRISINGLY ON 25 APRIL 2025.... MY TICKET HAD BEEN CANCELLED AND REFUND ISSUED.... FROM CONFIRMED TO CANCELLED. UNBELIEVABLE.

Very Bad

Very Bad! Scamming customer as they cancelled the attraction tickets after I’ve booked all the flights and accommodation. Do not trust them and buy from them!

Worst agency

Worst agency.
No live agent, no phone call, very delay and slow in email response.
No clue if reservation comes in or not, for my case unfortunately its not available anymore for the timeslot selected and even the requested options. Also due to their lateness I am unable to get the ticket in other site.

QR codes were unavailable to be read

QR codes were unavailable to be read, said invalid. The staff member at the lounge was so nice to let us in as he wrote all the user id and told us to write the email and attach the screen of the reader pic to them. I straight away trued to do live chat and it turned out, on the auto chat said Pelago had problems with QR codes for the recent purchases. Well, they should notice all users and service providers when they found out about this problem. I never buy anything from them again.

First and Last time I use Pelago

If i had a cjoice of zero stars , i would rate them this . First time using Pelago , and will also be the last time. The amount has been take out of my credit card ,and I didn't receive the vouchers and it's impossible to chat with live agent. All virtual chat and it goes around in a circle back to rhe original problem.
Will have to wait for an email reply from them.

Use their service with caution , and if there are any issues, do not expect an early resolution or even any resolution at all !!

Worst customer experience

Just tried to book a KrisFlyer Experience using miles. The miles were used for payment, but the booking failed.

It looks like I may have triggered one of the terms and conditions when booking (which has never happened ever).

Miles removed instantly, but take 5-14 days to be recredited. A complete scam.

I would strongly advise against using this booking company. I booked a tour to the Field of Lights at Uluru well in advance, only to receive a last-minute cancellation. They claimed it may be because the tour wasn’t running – but when I contacted the actual tour provider, I found out it was running and had availability. Turns out, this company simply never put my booking through properly, then blamed it on the tour not operating.

No real apology, no help rebooking, and absolutely no accountability. We missed out on a once-in-a-lifetime experience because of their incompetence. Completely unreliable – don’t risk your trip with them.

esim promotion wrong pricing

i bought the esim from pelago last novemeber 2024 at $1 for 1GB. it was advertised on their website that the promotion will only ends on 31 january 2025. however, the price increased to $8plus when i was trying to purchase again in mid january 2025. i have been writing to pelago regarding this issue as it is not ethical for such business practices as the website clearly stated promotion only ends 31 jan 2025. the emails lasted for about 2 weeks and customer service reply is that the promotion is no longer avaliable! it was only today 31 january when i checked the link that pelago had adjusted the price back to the $1 for 1GB as stated in their website. by was there such a negliance on pelago part? i have high expectation of pelago as it is by singapore airlines. such business practices is unbecoming esp when singapore airlines is a representation of the country.

Simcard nightmare

Bought singapore simcard to be collected at Changi airport on arrival. The queue was long and only 1 counter open. Ridiculous, 1 hour still waiting and past midnight already. I will buy esim from other companies next time.

Scammer

Made a booking with Pelago for Sydney Aquarium but when I presented the booking QR code at the entry, I was told it was invalid and I was told by the staffs this happened all the time for their customers made booking with Pelago. Ended up I had to buy another 4 tickets on the spot so I paid double the price of each tickets. I reached out Pelago for this issue on the same day, and their customer service said they would investigate. It’s been more than a week now, they haven’t come back to me with an outcome and no refund has been done at all too, reached out to follow up but no reply from them. So basically what I had spent with Pelago just go to the bin. I seriously think Pelago is a scam company, if you are planning your itinerary, please avoid Pelago.

Do not buy your tickets from Pelago.
They have zero care for the customers. We bought tickets to the zoo. When we arrived heavy rainfall conditions occurred. I notified Pelago and ask for cancellation. They refused, I demanded money back and escalated it to the management. Horrible third party company that only collects money 😡

No protection against misleading tour information

Booked a tour that was advertised on Pelago as “private tour”. Tour operator then sent me an email claiming that the tour I booked was a shared tour and that it might get cancelled if minimum no of pax was not met. I checked my booking voucher and realised that while it clearly stated that the tour should be a private one, there was a minimum pax requirement hidden in the fine print which I wasn’t alerted about at the point of booking.

Pelago hardly provided any help at all, but merely passed on the messages from the operator. I lost all my trust in Pelago and will never book with them again, seeing as they barely provided any help nor protection to the customers.

False advertising. Bad customer service

Dissapointing experience due to false advertising.
I purchased a ticket for Movie World on the Gold Coast in Australia. At no stage in the product advertising, or during the checkout process did it state the ticket was for Singapore residents only. The first time it was displayed is on the ticket issued via email after the payment was taken out of my account.
I contacted their customer service department within minutes of receiving the ticket, but they refused to issue me a refund.
