PeerSpace Is The App To Have

I was looking to throw a “In Memory Celebration “ for my mom who is deceased so I decided to try PeerSpace . PeerSpace is a wonderful app because it’s convenient and the spaces that they have available are unbelievable with awesome prices . I’m so happy to have found PeerSpace it was a great experience for me and my family .

I never leave review but had such a great experience, I had to share.

I never leave reviews, good or bad. However I had such a great experience I had to share! The whole process of finding a venue, booking and communicating with the person was so easy. I had a great experience with Peerspace. I had never heard of it before so was a little nervous at first but so happy that I found it. I will definitely be using Peerspace again in the near future for the next event!

Proceed with Caution – Poor Support, Last-Minute Cancellation, and No Accountability

I booked a space through Peerspace for an engagement party and had one of the most stressful and disappointing experiences I’ve ever encountered with an event platform. After months of planning, the host canceled our booking just two days before our event — despite multiple confirmations and conversations in which we worked through her concerns. Notably, she told us she regretted accepting our booking because she hadn’t realized it fell on a holiday weekend. Even after we made major last-minute adjustments to accommodate parking limitations and reassured her about the guest count, she still chose to cancel less than 50 hours before our event.

We scrambled to find a replacement venue, which forced us to spend hundreds of dollars in additional, unplanned costs. When we reached out to Peerspace for support, the situation only got worse. They ultimately closed our claim, citing a 48-hour deadline to submit documentation—a deadline that is nowhere to be found in their official Cancellation and Refund Policy. I also explained that I hadn’t received timely email notifications of their responses due to technical issues with their messaging system, and I even provided proof. Still, they have only deflected my repeated requests to reopen the case, without addressing the validity of my concerns or acknowledging the lack of notice and communication failure. Adding to the frustration, I tried calling their listed phone number multiple times and only received error messages—there was no working number to reach a live person.

Most alarmingly, Peerspace has stated they cannot allow me to leave a review for this host (who is currently highly rated), because the booking was canceled. This means future clients could face the same issue with this host, completely unaware, and I have no way to publicly warn them through the platform itself.

As of now, Peerspace has offered no resolution, no reimbursement, and no real path to escalate the matter further. I am requesting that my case be reviewed by management, especially given that their support team is enforcing an internal 48-hour deadline that does not appear in any formal policy that users agree to.

As promised, I am updating my review with the new developments. Both the Peerspace chat and those who respond to third-party reviews have deflected responsibility, stating a timeline that does not appear in the consumer agreements. Additionally, they have ignored multiple requests for a number I can call to speak with a live agent.
I strongly advise future users to refrain from booking through Peerspace—if something goes wrong, you may be on your own. Note that if you don’t constantly return to check support messages (even when in the midst of scrambling to pivot an event location) they may say you didn’t respond in time to qualify for reimbursement.

First and foremost, we’re truly sorry for the inconvenience and frustration caused by your host’s cancellation. We understand how disruptive this must have been. Please rest assured that our Host Management team is taking the appropriate actions. Hosts are aware that cancellations may result in penalties, which can include revoked privileges or even removal from our platform.

Currently, our policy only permits reviews for completed stays, as we aim to ensure that feedback reflects the full booking experience. That said, we fully recognize your perspective, and we are actively reviewing this process to better serve our guests.

When a host cancels, our Customer Experience team steps in to assist with finding alternative accommodations and, where possible, pursuing reimbursement for losses. In order to move forward with such claims, we require relevant third-party documentation, including refund policies, service contracts, and any supporting materials.

In this case, our agent reached out on May 23, 2025, and explained that documentation would need to be submitted within 48 hours or the case would be dropped. As we did not receive a response within that timeframe, the losses claim was unfortunately closed in line with our process. When we did receive a response from you it was received on May 27, 2025. By using our platform, users agree to these procedures to ensure consistency and fairness for all parties.

Peerspace is a good site for finding spaces, but be prepared for certain hosts to decline you for suspicious reasons

The site Peerspace is a good site for finding available spaces. What is beyond Peerspace’s control is hosts who display racist behavior towards those looking to reserve a space. ⚪️ hosts who show wide open availability on Peerspace for their space and then it mysteriously becomes unavailable after you submit your request showing your melanin beautiful photo as the requester. It never ends.

Baby Shower not quite as I expected

Peerspace was great as far as finding a venue. The space I rented was called IVENUE LA located in Glendale. The venue itself was nice but the staff was not accommodating, the male owner was originally rude to my mother but later apologized but they should have NEVER been rude to her in the first place. There was an Asian lady that was apart of the staff (sorry don’t know her name) who was no help at all and had a horrible attitude throughout our whole event. The lady owner was very nice, we had an issue with the music which took away from our event but she tried her best to help. Overall nice place as far as looks, but the staff needs to work on their customer service and be sure all the amenities you paid for are working properly.

CAUTIOUS, DO NOT USE

I had a horrible experience with using peer space, my wife and I booked a venue using peerspace for her baby shower, and ONE WEEK after we booked it, the venue cancelled on us after we had ordered everything and sent out invitations, it took us a VERY stressful few days to find a venue with less than a month to go, I DO NOT recommend relying on it.

I recently won an award for ‘best space…

I recently won an award for ‘best space in London’ and I was ecstatic, however it doesnt negate from the lack of support that they give hosts.

Im sad to write this review but having read the reviews of other hosts I can see this is a recurring problem.

I had a horrible client recently, I accidentally missed their call and ended up letting the client in 20mins late. I told the client that they can leave at 4:30pm, the left at 4:41pm. The client proceeded to leave abusive messages on peerspace platform when i requested compensation for them leaving late, i reported this to Peerspace - they did nothing. Ryan from Peerspace emailed me saying ‘weve decided to drop the £25 overtime charge’ yet I had to give the client a full refund and I received no compensation for the awful experience I had with the client.

The client left a negative review which is impacting my business, yet I do not have the option of replying or getting any voice to the situation.

This is not the first time I have had a terrible experience with Peerspace, yet they keep using my studio to promote their platform in their newsletters and hailing us as the 6th best space in London yet they fail to support us in our time of need.

I keep asking Peerspace why the client was given a full refund and they haven’t given me a answer. I’ve been robbed in daylight! There is nothing I can do to get my money back.

Lastly, the fees are incredibly high for the little assistance that they give. Hosts have to work extra hard to promote their space and Peer Space take a fee that doesn’t reflect in their customer service.

I have built up a strong profile on Peerspace and I’ll be staying to reclaim my money.

In this case, what was provided did not meet the threshold needed to support the claim.
