No Support and no one to contact for…

No Support and no one to contact for help. We are a Host and provide space for people or business's. We have someone who wants to reserve......but we can't reply. It says to contact Peerspace Support.....but is none. They provide how-to articles. Sorry don't have time to read thru 184 articles......On to the next Company that actually has support.

I'm so glad I found peerspace

I'm so glad I found peerspace to help me find a venue for my event! I was able to easily compare options, and ended up getting acquainted with an interesting local business that I will be visiting again. Looking forward to planning another event!

Great experience at the studio and with…

Great experience at the studio and with host. Communication was excellent.

One of the light cords were a little flickery however we managed and all was well!

Will be booking again next month!

Peerspace won't refund my money

Peerspace took money from me and won't refund my money, even though I've already reported them to the Better Business Bureau. Would not recommend using peerspace.

Edit: Don't listen to the lies that Peerspace is telling as they respond to my review. They are full of it. They won't issue me a refund. They are liars and theives.

Based on the cancellation policy selected by the host you were not eligible for a full refund. However, if your host agrees to it we'd be more than happy to get that processed for you.

When you created the booking you agreed to the hosts cancellation policy in addition to our Terms of Service. In this instance we would not be able to override the policy, and appreciate your understanding.

The venue I choose was perfect

The venue I booked for my daughters baby shower was beautiful, communication with the host was great. They quickly responded to all my questions. will definitely use Peerspace again.

Peerspace is a great solution

Peerspace has loads of offerings in a wide variety of locations. The app makes browsing and scheduling easy. This is a must have for orgs who are remote or hybrid and require meeting space from time to time. Also great for larger meeting spaces that can’t be accommodated by some offices. Highly recommend

Creatively inspiring

Everyone was so nice and open to our ideas!!! The spaces were beautiful and creative, though it was hot, it was still such a perfect setting for our shoot!

Huge Space Rental Loss Incurred with Emergency Cancel Need

I have largely been very happy with the PeerSpace arrangement as a primary renter of photographic spaces/locations. However, I recently had to cancel my reservation on short notice (1 day) due to an emergency medical issue that had occurred with me. Not only did I lose my full rental amount, but I also had to absorb a lost deposit for the model that was booked. This cost me over 1,000 dollars. I got my $25.00 cleaning fee refunded (whoopee!). I am questioning the use of the site to book spaces in the future in lieu of this scenario repeating. I cannot afford to have this occur again. PeerSpace should consider a minimal processing fee in cases like this even if they required documentation to support the issue (medical or emergency issues). As is, this is not conducive to future bookings especially with new studios or locations. With previously rented spaces, at least I can reach out to the space managers directly and work something out without getting fully charged by PeerSpace. PeerSpace might consider offering cancelation insurance which might cover a majority of the lost funds to all parties. Bottom line: Why would I continue to use PeerSpace if the potential for a huge loss remains if a problem arises.

When bookings are created with hosts they reserve the requested time and are unable to provide their spaces for other guests for that time. While we understand that cancellations sometimes do have to happen, if the reasons for the cancellation are not supported under our Cancellation policy for Excused cancellations, we're unable to provide a full refund unless the host approves this.

We'll be sure to pass this idea along to our team for future consideration and appreciate any feedback as always.

I recently had the pleasure of hosting my daughter’s 2nd birthday party in this stunning backyard rental, and I can honestly say it exceeded all of my expectations. The space was aesthetically beautiful, with thoughtful design details that made it feel like a serene private retreat.

The landscaping was immaculate and so well cared for — from the lush greenery to the cozy seating areas, every corner felt inviting and peaceful. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the outdoors in total comfort.

What truly made the experience exceptional was the host. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests truly set this stay apart.

If you’re looking for a unique and beautifully maintained space to escape and recharge, I can’t recommend this backyard rental enough. I’m already planning my next visit!

To be able to easily find spaces…

To be able to easily find spaces without a hassle is the reason why I choose to use Peerspace. I want to use to find a studio to do a photo shoot and I was able to find with no problem. The place was amazing, my client had an excellent shoot.

Inappropriate Host

I gave it 2 stars because the event still went well for my guests. they had a great time and my wedding was still nice and intimate just the way I wanted it. My main issue is with the host. I was looking for more information and see one of the bad reviews was about the very same host. His name is Lee and he was terrible from day one. I tried to cancel the booking but I booked it less than 90 days from the event which was my weeding and I would only get half of what I paid for back. This might be long but here are my points of everything wrong with the host and how Peerspace really needs to do a better job at protecting the guests and needs to establish better regulations. I had to beg to get my review taken down. I only left a review because Lee harassed me for two days to leave a positive review.

1) I reached out first to ask a few questions and he half way answered them but, he was very responsive but the second I booked the place (Paid in full with no option to put a deposit down first) he was difficult to get ahold of. He ignored my multiple requests to visit the home and do a walk through until I got stern and explained to him how important a walk through is. I needed to do a second visit with my caterer to do a final walk through and for her to see where she should set up the food and bar.

2) The first time we came to visit, I let him know we were on our way and we arrived 10 minutes early. Like the other reviewer stated, he didn't introduce himself and didn't seem very hospitable at all. The first thing out of his mouth was "You're early but, ok come on in."

3) The place was cluttered. He said he would clean everything out but still... There was a huge projector stand at the end of the pool that we were not going to use and he agreed to take it down. the patio area where we wanted to set up a buffet style food area was cluttered and he said he would clear it. One of the tables along side the pool was missing an umbrella and he said he would fix that.

4) This is when I realized that he lived there. It's not exactly a big deal but, I wasn't expecting the host to always be there. He never mentioned that he fully lived there and would be involved the entire time.

5) He put my caterer under the impression that he had space in the refrigerator to store food. He did not. I had a cake that ended up melting and falling apart because we couldn't store it before it was ready to go out because there was no space to store it not to mention the fact that the inside of the tiny refrigerator smelled like rotted meat.

6) I asked if there is a way for us to come the day before or earlier in the day just to decorate and he tried to charge me. Fine I guess but, the very day of the event he then tells me we can come over whenever to start decorating.

7) On the day of the event, none of the things he agreed to do was done. The front of the house garage area was still filled with junk. We put a banner up to cover it. He didn't clean up the kitchen, the refrigerator was unusable, didn't take down the projector stand, didn't put the umbrella up, didn't clear out the patio area as agreed upon.

8) The concrete area of the patio was not leveled and my cousin almost tripped so, we decided to rearrange the bar set up in a way where no one would end up tripping and possibly getting hurt. He didn't like my mother in laws idea and started to argue with her about the set up.

9) He was at the event the entire time. Like the other guest said, he was eating the food, drinking the drinks, dancing, bothering the guests, took pictures without my consent and at my wedding, walking around in old rolled up jeans and no shoes. He was barefoot walking around.

10) He tried to keep the decorations and tried to keep the leftover food and bottles of wine and prosecco. We made sure to take it with us.

11) The very next day, he sent several texts hounding me to leave him a glowing review. I was not going to do it until my mother in law let me know she left some things there and wanted me to go and retrieve them because she did not want to interact with him ever again. I ask him if he had them and he did but jokingly threatened not to give them back until I leave him a review. I went ahead and left the review out of fear that he wouldn't give her stuff back.

I contacted Peerspace to ask for them to please take down my review but they wouldn't do it unless I gave them a reason. I just didn't want to have a review up at all to avoid anymore confrontations. They refused to take it down without a reason so, I just said he harassed me to leave one and it finally got taken down but now, I feel like other guests should know about this host and the positive reviews are not truthful.

I wouldn't say not to book here, but I would say to be very careful who you book with and do more research on the host before deciding to book with them.

The policy details are clearly disclosed at the time of booking. Please keep in mind that once you reserve a time slot, it becomes unavailable to others. Hosts often adjust their schedules to accommodate your booking, so cancellations can impact their planning.

Penalizes users for no reason.

I appreciate the service. However, those of us who rent our space are penalized if we allow an offer to expire. The problem is that we can't cancel the reservation if it turns out that we are unable to accommodate the prospective guest. Sooo, no option to cancel the request, but we are penalized if we allow it to expire? Make it make sense.

When booking requests are sent you have the option to decline or accept the request from your account. If you need to cancel an active booking you would submit a cancellation request by following these steps:

1. Navigate to the bookings tab of your account.
2. Click on the booking in question.
3. Click “Cancel Booking”, located at the top of the page.
4. You will need to include a reason for cancelling the booking and click the purple “Cancel Booking” button to finalize the cancellation request.

If you send an offer to a guest and it expires you are not penalized since it counts as a response to the guest. You are only penalized when you don't respond to an inquiry or a booking request.

Great way to find the dream location for photo / video shoots

I decided to use Peerspace to find a location for a photoshoot that I was planning. The website was super easy to use and I was able to narrow down options based on price, themes, and location, eventually finding the perfect studio that fit my vision and budget.

Booking was easy and I was even able to reach out to the host for a last minute change that he was able to accommodate.

I highly recommend Peerspace if you're a photographer / videographer looking for a place for your next shoot.
