Heather and the team quite literally go above and beyond for their clients. Prompt, professional and so dedicated to helping us achieve our goals, there is no one I'd rather have in charge of our training. They know both us and our dogs personally, know what they're like and what we need in order to train our dogs. They understand that having a service dog could mean a world of difference for the quality of our lives, and know how to best teach people with all kinds of disabilities. My world is slowly becoming bigger again session by session thanks to the training we receive multiple times a week in a variety of formats. I couldn't put into words how amazing they are and how grateful I am for their continued support.

Excellent service and so knowledgeable of dogs and needs of person training and welfare of dogs at the forefront of everything. The recent heatwave has shown how the welfare of the dogs is paramount. We live being part of the Pawsitive community.

We came to Pawsitive Squad via a personal recommendation and I’m so glad we found them. Similar organisations we looked at focus only on a very narrow range of diagnoses, and if you don’t fit that box there’s limited support out there. Heather’s approach was much more inclusive and pragmatic.

We’ve had to do nearly all our training online as we’re in Devon, but this hasn’t been a problem so don’t be put off if you’re not near Nottingham. We’ve still had all the expert advice and feedback we needed to progress. The post-qualification support is also excellent.

I've been working with Pawsitive for a few years now and they have been absolutely amazing. There classes are easy to understand and the people we have worked with have been so friendly and accommodating. I could not recommend them more.

I started working with Heather very early in my puppy Marley journey who is now nearly 2. Having never had a dog before and due to daughter having EOTIS package it felt the right step. I can not express how much I have learned and it is not easy, with for me what feels like many steps back as never having had a dog before I am learning everything not only how to care for Marley but how to help teach her calming activities and mental arousal and how to give me confidence to be around people with Marley is vital.
Being Autistic myself also I have found a community of support and acceptance which is so important to me and in supporting my daughter. I feel listened to and supported particularly for me 1-1 in person visits give me confidence to keep trying but also having zoom classes allow me to attend when I can. From the heart I recommend.

Heather is fantastic and very knowledgeable. Very understanding with children with additional needs too. Pawsitive is fun whilst learning.

We found Pawsitive Squad during a pretty awful time in my daughters life and I can honestly say that they were a significant contributor to her rehabilitation. The online training sessions were the only thing my daughter would leave her room for and Heather was the only person she would talk to. The compassion, care, empathy and understanding shown by this organisation enabled my daughter to start the slow journey rebuilding her life. Through Pawsitive Squads training, she has developed an unbreakable bond with our family dog, who she has taken from an unruly rescue to fully trained assistance dog. Heather is extremely knowledgable, helpful, patient, understands her client's needs, and that of the dog. My daughter has often struggled with class due to her own needs, but Heather gets it and knows when space is needed or an alternative option is needed. Our dog especially looks forward to having Heather on zoom as he enjoys his training.
