I had online classes with park lane tutors for almost 2 years, 2 lessons a week for 1 hour each day. When i first started tuition i didn’t even know how to do basic algebra and simple formulas for shapes such as squares or triangles. By the end of my 2 years i had learned so much that my school hadn't even taught me such as Pythagoras and Sohcahtoa (which did in-fact come up in my GCSES), the classes also taught me easier ways to answer questions by using simpler formulas and simplifying equations, This personally helped me so much during my GCSEs. My tutor was also so patient with me and wouldn’t move on to a new topic unless he was 100% sure i understood everything, and if i didn’t he would explain it in examples of real life experiences which helped me understand the work so much more. Over all it was very impactful on my performance in maths moving me up 2 grades.
