I parked on Sanford Ave flushing plaza metropolis parking lot and had a very bad experience. It took me 45-1 hr min to get my car. first they told me I had to use an app to pay. That I can't pay by cash or credit card. But I had no wifi because they were located in the basement. Then after figuring that all out with the clerk who took like 20 minutes, I find out there is another car parked in right front of me blocking me, and they didn't have the key. How do you not have a key if you are the parking garage!? They called the owner of the car and had her walk back to move her car which took another 30 minutes. I paid $18 for this parking spot and I spent 45-1 hr min standing there trying to get my car. I have 2 young kids at home who are directly affected by my lateness. I have to pay extra for sitters. Horrible!!!

The address is 130-50 Barclay Ave, Queens, NY 11355. Google Map led us to the Sanford Ave. We drove around the entire Flushing Plaza, but cannot find a parking lot with this address. We had spent 45 minutes by looking for this location and gave up. My wife told me to enter a Flushing Plaza parking lot with a different address and took the ticket to enter and talk with a staff. The staff refused us by saying this is a different address. It took us 30 minutes to convince the staff to honor our parking finally. Do not park here anymore. We were quite late for our appointment because of this parking location.

My experience was a NIGHTMARE! It took me awhile to find the right parking garage because there are several garage entrances and I had to enter the correct one. When I finally get to it, I noticed that there isn’t a QR reader. So I had to call the parking attendant who was somewhat rude about the situation and informs me that I need to meet them, first before I can just leave my vehicle. As I drive through the garage, there’s no sign stating where to park for those who signed up with Park.com or signs showing where the parking attendant is. So as I drive around the parking garage like a lost tourist, I decided to drive to the lower level. The parking is somewhat tight too. Once I parked the vehicle, I went to the first floor to see if there’s a specific office. No, there are none. So I had to wait until I could catch a random person to help me find the parking attendant. He told me to go to the first level of the parking garage. When I finally got there, the parking attendant said that he thought he saw me driving around. Well “duh” it was already 9pm and no one else was around in that garage. He laughed and said that he was going to wave, but that he wasn’t sure so he just let me go. Then he informs me that I should move my car to his area so that my vehicle would be looked after properly. I moved my car back up to his area and he points to a middle spot that would block my vehicle. When I asked him how I may go about entering and exiting the garage on a daily basis, he tells me that I can’t and that this app is strictly paid just to hold the vehicle there for a certain amount of time. So that pissed me off more as I thought that for the duration on of my paid time that I’d be able to use it like a regular garage. Never again will I use this POS app.

Update: Great customer service. Julia contacted me and issued a refund. I would like to give parking.com a try in future again. Thank you.
