Paperwork and tickets came in plenty of time. Hotel was excellent staff couldn't have been more helpful and the food was exceptionslly good. We will book with Palmers again.

Pleasant hotel, in a good location. Home cooked food with a long list on the evening meal menus to choose from. Weather was warm and sunny with a moderate breeze apart from on the pier as it was very windy. Just watch out for the Herring Gull mobs!

A great coach driver.
The coach was basic. Not too comfortable and no wi fi. Will probably not travel with Palmers again. We feel short changed after travelling on Palmer’s own coaches.

A first class experience on our first ever coach holiday. From being picked up from home (a bonus in itself), a very comfortable coach with Grant, a most informative, friendly and capable driver, an excellent hotel, wonderful tours, to a pleasant journey home. All in all a fantastic coach trip.

We always enjoy Palmer holidays the spacious coaches are great (Red Rose) this trip and brilliant & safe drivers.Kingussie hotel was good - great food ,and spacious room ,checked everything each day . Friendly helpful staff. Tour trips were excellent, looking forward to our next holiday in September

Negative: three hours in . Aviemore far too long for such a small place and on a Sunday so shops closed only one pub at the end of the village which was so down market.it was awful. Totally boring . The hotel room I got the upgrade but up a very steep narrow staircase full handrail on one side but half rail on other.so far the last steps it was necessary to use both hands on the one full rail and try to avoid losing balance. Other older guests had the same problem when allocated this side of the hotel
Others got the newer wing which had a lift
Menus fine but not a patch on the Royal in Sidmouth .not enough bar staff in on so long queues normally just one bar person

Small negative: the seats by the coach emergency exit do not have a view out of window, and the leg room is limited which spoilt our long journey to location, and reduced our sight seeing experience on the coach. Maybe these seats should be highlighted as limited view and legroom for future bookings.

Excellent driver, holiday was excellent, as was the trips. The location of the hotel was excellent. The choice of trips was good. The coach was clean tidy, and a safe pleasant journey was had.

I went on this holiday particularly to see Hever Castle and Gardens which were magnificent, and we left at2.30 and went to some village miles away which had nothing special to commend it.
Apart from this the holiday was very good
I should add that we went on this holiday because our first choice to Torquay was cancelled. I had wanted to go to Devon again to see members of my family there and it is difficult for me to visit them

I enjoyed the excursions, especially Hever Castle, as it was somewhere I have always wanted to see. The home pickup and drop offs were very convenient and the coach travel was comfortable and easy.
I did not like the location of the hotel, it was well out of town, with nowhere to walk to. The food was mediocre and I prefer table service to self serve. But it was a pleasant holiday.

Our first holiday with Palmers and taken on recommendation of friends.The holiday was perfect in every way. The collection and drop off at home was a big plus for us.Our driver, Peter, was very good and nothing was a problem for him. The daily trips were enjoyable and varied.
The accommodation was very good . The holiday offered good value for money and we are looking forward to booking our next break with Palmers.

Recently returned from the NC500 coach tour , without a doubt the best coach trip I have ever done! My personal faves were the Isle of Skye and Ullapool, with John O'Groats being the very best!
Our coach driver Grant was really knowledgeable and very considerate, although comfort stops were few & far between as it was 'out of season', he did manage to find some! His Geordie accent puzzled us sometimes, 'no porridge ' was the best one (no porterage) great fun!

Door pick up, comfortable coach, the driver Grant was brilliant, friendly, really cared that we had a good time, checked we were ok with everything throughout the holiday, considerate to all abilities, went out of his way to ensure we saw the best places in fact he made the holiday more enjoyable. Hotels were ok apart from the last one the Angus Hotel Brairgowrie, all travellers were disappointed with this hotel and if it hadn’t been for this hotel I would have given 5 stars. Hope Palmers listen to our feed back and don’t use that hotel again. Would definitely book other tours with Palmers having travelled with other company’s including a large leading tour company the recent Palmers tours I have done recently were far better and would be my first choice on the basis of the drivers who were friendly and professional, comfort of the coach, value for money and itenerary.
