Room and food were good, I enjoyed the canal boat in Bruges, and the fountains in the water park, I did think the carpet of flowers in Brussels was over rated

Everything was good, but Daniel, the driver from Hodgsons Coaches, made it brilliant. He thought of everything and nothing was too much trouble.
Hotel was fine.

The organisation of this coach holiday was exemplary and the driver Grant was excellent. The coach was clean and comfortable. The excursions were enjoyable and interesting especially the train ride up Snowdon and the boat around Puffin Island. Stopping at ‘shopping opportunities’ is unnecessary and annoying- the time could have been better spent. The hotel was very pleasant and the staff were helpful. However the food was extremely disappointing particularly the dinners which were of very poor quality.

Everything about the trip to Highgrove was exceptional - you even gave us lovely weather. It was brilliant from start to finish, including the lady who took us round the gardens. The stops en route and the hotel were excellent too. It ran smoothly from start to finish; Thank you once again.

All round a very good experience for our first coach holiday. The for to door pick up was our main reason to try Palmers after being recommended to them. The length of stays in all places was appreciated and enabled us to do all we wanted on a three day trip. Excellent driver, coach not quite as roomy as we’d been led to believe but it wasn’t one of their own. Been on a lot worse though so not a complaint.

First time on a coach trip. Pick up from home great. Comfortable coach, good driver. Stayed at The Merrion in Llandudno. Lovely hotel and staff. Great food. Good trips l would definitely travel with Palmer's again despite the fact I was in room 127 which can only be described as a large cupboard at the back of the hotel overlooking a flat roof. I asked to be moved but hotel was full. However it had everything I required. Comfy bed. Nice fluffy towels, toiletries, safety deposit, hairdryer. Bottled water and well stocked hospitality tray. Very clean. Just a little miffed I had to pay a single supplement for the smallest room in the hotel ....heigh ho

This was my first experience of this kind of trip.
The pickup from home to the coach and return was great ..
Only criticism is the limited amount of time we had in some destinations .. but I think that was partly due to the timings of the boat trip and the mountain railway.
The coach driver was very helpful and amenable with us all.
I will definitely consider another trip at some point, when the itinerary matches this Welsh Highlands one. It was a varied list of places to see & things to do ..

The worst holiday I've been on. The coach broke down, the driver was unprofessional, not introducing herself or looking the part. Didn't visit Oxford, on the itinerary, as not enough driving hours! On m25 suddenly halted causing all on coach to go forward and a bloody nose for one passenger. Went on a country lane through Epping Forest causing traffic havoc. My friend was ill and asked if she could be dropped off at services on way back but driver was rude and awkward about it so we had to make our own arrangements whilst in central London. She did , however, make my friends suitcase accessible as requested. The main event was successful though. All in all the experience was a joke.

Outbound and return pick ups were timely, hotel very comfortable with excellent food. Very helpful and polite staff, particular thanks to Tony and The Monterey, Jersey’s reception staff who were so patient and knowledgeable. Location-wise the hotel is a 20 minute walk to Liberation Square, plenty of busses if you don’t want to walk. Really enjoyed the all day bus trip around the island with Alex at Bay Tours, War Tunnels, Jersey Museum and Zoo. The one thing we feel we missed out on was not having a rep, guests in our hotel had a dedicated rep (Roberts tour operator) so all of our questions were directed at the reception staff, other guests and hotel health club members Jean and Jim.

The staff were great, hotel not really suitable for the less mobile,lots and lots of steps to our room on the second floor. Bathrooms with bath and shower over, no rails in bathroom so difficult in getting in and out. Needed updating. Other than that, food ok and hotel in a lovely location. Rooms not service every day, beds never made up but clean towels every day. Some activities not available. All in all could have been better.hopefully the next hotel we book will be better as we have had lovely hotel stays.

The local door to door pick up is very convenient. The hotel was lovely, albeit no lifts (but it was an old Manor House!)but the food, staff & views were excellent. Disappointed with Bristol itinerary, 2 hour cruise was too long. Would have preferred to have seen SS Britain & drive/walk over Clifton Bridge. The Cheddar Gorge cheese tasting was another disappointment-would rather have had the opportunity to see the Caves. Wells was lovely as was Longleat. Grant our driver was excellent, very entertaining!

The hotel was not good. Even though I sent the hotel my medical diet sheet. They didn’t cater for me without me chasing them all the time. There was no meet and greet on arrival. When I asked to speak to the chef about my food whilst I was there. I never did see one. The staff on reception needs training on how to treat customers with respect. Very poor not a good service at all. The all the staff need to be trained properly . Out of all the staff, there was only 3 that knew what they were doing. I will never stay there again. This should have been a good holiday which was spoilt by the hotel. The coach driver and the companion manager were exultant. Without them it would have ruined the holiday altogether.

I presume this refers to our Jersey holiday in June. This was mostly brilliant - the hotel in general, staff and food. There were two things that were a problem as follows:
The bedroom overlooked the kitchen roof on a lower level and had fans on it which were on quite a lot even sometimes very late at night. These were very noisy and it was extremely hot when we were there and we couldn’t open the windows when in the room due to the noise they made.
The other was the pick up from the hotel. It said on our paperwork from you that we would be picked up two and a half hours before the flight departure by Tantivy Blue Coach Tours. We were in the hotel reception for 12:30 ready for 1pm pick up. There were a couple of coaches going to the hotel across the road (Hotel Du Paris) and my husband went outside but they didn’t come to us. Eventually another coach drivers shouted across to us that we would be picked up soon which ended up being at 2pm and we still went to 3 other hotels after that. By the time we got to the airport we had no time to get something to eat or look in the duty free shop which was really annoying considering all the time we waited around in the hotel.

To the point, my experience was first class, having not been with Palmer's before I found the coach and coach driver delivered what I was looking for, the hotel and food exceptional (hotel frontage staff a bit off hand) the excursions well organised. A big thankyou

Lovely hotel lovely food and staff. Hotel was a little out of St Helier so we had to get the bus back each da y but we did purchase a weekly ticket

pick up on time to more local spot. Journey comfortable. Hotel room a bit tired but bedding and towels spotless. Floor covering throughout room/bathroom shabby but clean. Excursions OK but tiring journeys to/from. Only two night's entertainment in hotel. I enjoyed fellow company. Palmer staff excellent. Food good. Will use Palmers again.

Lovely seafront hotel in centre of Sidmouth, excellent trips, comfortable coach with friendly and helpful driver.
Only negative, the quality and quantity of evening meal food.

All our holidays with Palmers have been lovely,
the drivers are very friendly helpful and professional.
The sales staff are friendly, knowledgeable.
We hope to spend more happy holidays with Palmers.

An excellent stay in Stourport on Severn with a very interesting itinerary of places visited
Also a very good helpful coach driver and some good company on the trip
The only minor complaint I have that there was a mix up over the pick up times for Wakefield

The driver Grant was excellent and went out of his way to see that we were informed of places of interest during our journeys.
The hotel was clean and comfortable and the menu and choices were prepared and served most efficiently.
